I recently stayed at this hotel, and I want to give special thanks to the manager, Nicholas. He is an exceptionally kind and attentive person. We had a difficult situation while looking for a place to stay, and he helped us immediately. He arranged a lovely room for us and even offered a free breakfast because I was very upset after my previous experience at another hotel.
Nicholas made us feel welcome and cared for. Thanks to him, our stay turned out wonderful. He truly deserves recognition for his professionalism and warm attitude.
Highly recommended!
Booked well in advance, very reasonable price compared to other hotels in the area. We went to a show at the 02, just a hop on the DLR right outside to Canary Wharf station, it really couldn’t have been easier. We had a room on the 15th floor with a great view, comfy bed, clean and comfortable for a good night sleep. One niggle, after checking in we had someone open the door, then knock twice on the door asking if we were leaving despite saying we had only just checked in. Surely they know who’s checked out previously, I mean the room was made up already.
First impressions were excellent, easy to find, great transport links and smooth self check-in. We were delighted to find we'd been upgraded to a premier plus room. This was on the 26th floor, not one for those were vertigo, but the room was perfect, clean, well maintained and well appointed.
It was only when we actually wanted to sleep in there it became a problem. As it was the 26th floor the windows, sensibly, didn't open. However the Aircon had a minimum of 19 degrees in theory but it didn't work and the room just got hotter and hotter until it made sleeping almost impossible, I've been to med in August and been cooler on a night.
After eventually catching a few hours the next issue presented itself, which oddly was the plumbing. At 6am the whole room began to vibrate with a low rumble as people were clearly using their showers and the tank pump of whatever it was shaking our walls and ceiling.
We had two nights of this and left the hotel absolutely knackered and looking forward to our own bed. (Which incidentally has a premier inn mattress)
It really spoilt what was otherwise an excellent stay.
Cleanliness was an issue - when I got back at 12am, I noticed a splashed liquid on the headboard. This was obviously too late to flag with the staff, we wouldn't want anyone else coming into our room at this time, after we've showered and got ready for bed. Contact CS the next day (as we had to rush to get a train home) and they did nothing to compensate for a dirty room, despite being aware of the timings and circumstances.
I haver stopped at the Premier Inn Westferry a handful of times before, great location from the DLR, a quick 10 minute stroll and you are in Canary Wharf.
The staff polite, efficient and helpful even though this is a huge PI and very busy.
Rooms are okay, and very typical of a PI standard.
PI are a budget hotel so it can attract sometimes, rude and loud fellow guests. One morning I went for breakfast only to be sat next 2 tables of trades guys, f-in and jeffin at 6.45 in the morning, covered in mucky site clothes and clearly stealing braekfast food to take for lunches, by no means the hotels fault, but maybe a stricter dress policy in communal areas? I do not want to be sitting on chairs that have been solied by buliding materials. I moved by the way.
Well done again to the PI Canary Wharf team, I would not hesitate to stop again, and next time I will choose my dining table with a bit more care!
Lovely, clean rooms. Staff were very friendly and polite - nothing was too much trouble.
Bed was super comfy and extra pillows available should we have wanted them.
Right next door to the Westferry DLR which was handy.
Bars and restaurants a short walk away but you would need directions I think to find them.
Very welcoming friendly staff, nothing to much trouble. Rooms were very clean, and comfortable. Staff were great with children
Room was missing g stuff like towels and sheets and so on.
WiFi wasn’t working and we were freezing because the heater wouldn’t work
What amazing friendly and helpful staff . Especially the charismatic Everton .
We stayed on a night that Radiohead played the O2 , so it was very busy but nothing was too much trouble . Even offered free biscuits by a lovely lady with funky glasses .
Due to a personal matter I have been staying here at the premier inn for a while until all is resolved. And since being here the staff have been nothing but polite , warm and friendly. A big shout out to daniella with her fab nails , violetta , and prisha !.

Great staff . Special thanks to sabina. Lovely hotel close to quite a lot. Clean hotel. Asked for a room move and they didn’t hesitate to move me.
Excellent location next to the river and within skyscrapers which made the experience much perfect. The train station DLR just outside the hotel's door was an excellent option to travel around. The hotel was clean, and the staff there very welcome. The room waa a bit small for 4 family members however the beds were really comfortable. The breakfast was the best option for someone to start his day in London. It was so rich and had so many options that could cover everyones needs. Definetely could revisit. Highly recommended.
Had a great stay last weekend, would definitely return, excellent room, breakfast and very friendly staff.
Being next door to the DLR was very handy as well.
This hotel is in an excellent location, right by Westferry dlr station, making it easy to travel in any direction. Staff are very helpful and friendly and the food is good too. I'd recommend
This is a great location - right at the bottom of the stairs from Westferry, which is great when checking in late at night! The guy on reception was very friendly and made a point of checking in with me at breakfast the next morning - it was a very welcoming atmosphere. Also, a great night's sleep - very quiet for the middle of London!
Hotel was clean and the staff were welcoming and helpful. We paid extra for a room with a view and the view from the 20th floor didn't disappoint (even though the windows were quite dirty on the outside) we could see Canary Wharf and all the financial powerhouse skyscrapers. The location of the hotel was directly adjacent to the DLR station, 3 stops from Bank on the Central Line and connections to everywhere in London was easy from there and the trains were very frequent. The hotel was really quiet and less than 10 minutes walk from both a Tesco Metro and a Lidl, both open until midnight. Room was clean and as you would expect from a Premier Inn, there was a small bit of damage next to the bed which I reported, not sure how or who did it it. Bathroom was more compact than usual due to it being a corner room and the shower was a little cramped near the water end with storage and the shower gel dispenser all at that end, not really an issue but a little tight and neither of us a large people. One little gripe was that the sink tap was very weak and had a air diffuser fitted and therefore took quite a time to rinse hands. All in all a nice example of a Premier Inn with nice, friendly staff which was clean and in good repair, we would stay again.
The hotel is right in front of the LR station. Check-in and check out very quick. The bed was a super comfortable, nice big bathroom and the room spotless clean. The breakfast was okay. I only stayed one night but I was super comfortable. Check out is at 12. Which was very comfortable as I went to stay overnight after a concert at Troxy.
This is the 2nd time staying here and felt we had to mention 1 member of staff who went above and beyond on this visit (all sraff were great )
Sabina thankyou you made a special birthday celebratiin for my friend just a little more special
Comfortable, clean and well situated - the staff are all lovely (especially Zia in the restaurant!) - great hotel close to Canary Wharf and right next door to the train lines - Quiet, close to amenities and the beds are super comfy!
would definitely recommend it
