We stayed in a Premier Plus accessible room for two nights while visiting family and were very comfortable. There was a fridge, Nespresso machine, and an armchair and foot stool as well as a huge bed. The bathroom was huge and the bath had low sides and loads of safety handles which was what we needed. The only disadvantage was the shower curtain - I find some water always goes through the gap and onto the floor, and hate hows the curtain sticks to you! We didn't eat in the restaurant in the evening but did enjoy two very good breakfasts. We didn't have time for any sightseeing or shopping but the hotel is in a really central position if that's what you've come to Jersey for.
During my stay at the Premier Inn, from check-in to departure, the Duty Manager — Mario (I believe) — was outstanding. He was consistently helpful, cheerful, and exceptionally courteous throughout my visit.
Staff members like him truly elevate the guest experience. He is an absolute credit to the team.
overall the experience of jersey was lovely, the room and some of the staff were very polite and helpful my only reason for 3/5 is due to us having a early flight on our last morning ( of which was changed by easyjet ) meant we had already paid for breakfast but was denied any cold food as we had to leave at 6am and the breakfast was already laid out ready for 630am. the morning breakfast staff were very unhelpful.
Very good stay. Fairly cheap in comparison to other local hotels. Great location in the middle of everything. Easy to check out, just drop your room key card in a box.
Room was clean. Would have preferred a shower, as the bath was a bit steep to climb out off.
However as you have to ask reception to have your room cleaned, it would be nice to provide more plastic bags for you to bag up your rubbish to leave outside the room.
Breakfast was nice (available M-F 6.30-10.30 S-S 7.00-11.00), however a few items not available some mornings (bananas, hot chocolate and pancakes). It was easy even to upgrade one night to have dinner (cheaper than eating out around the area).
Wifi was terrible, you have to upgrade for £5 a day if not in Premier Plus room. Room was a little stuffy without air con on.
Only realised after stay that the Premier Plus rooms have better Wifi and a fridge. However, unsure if the family rooms are available as a Premier Plus.
Leah is probably the best premier inn employee I have come across, another level of excellence! And I stay in a PI 4 days a week !!!
Leah, a pleasure!!
Great location. Plenty of restaueants around. 5 minute walk to the bus station. Room good what is expected from a premier inn. Clean. Only negative room could have had a 2 seeter sofa in to sit on. Plenty of room for one. Great shops around you. Very quiet at night. Had good night sleeps. Stayed for 7 nights and would highly recommend staying here
We stayed here for a long weekend and were very happy it was a perfect location and the staff were very helpful and friendly and we would go back .
We were in a basic room, number 226 and you get what you pay for. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. This room looks onto the middle of the building which made it very dark and you could not open the window so was very stuffy. Air con made the room freezing. The toilet paper and holder would not have been out of place in a public toilet and if you want your room cleaned you have to ask. As we were only staying for three nights and were out the majority of the time we did not bother but we thought that at least the teas, coffees, toilet roll and towels would have been topped up every day. That is not much to ask for paying customers. We didn't eat there so can't comment on the food. Gentleman that checked us in was friendly. Reception unmanned when we left at 12pm so we just left the key. We would not stay again.
Amazing staff, very attentive, nothing was too much trouble, we will be coming back, but next time we'll bring more family
Great hotel….great evening meals at night….the Lady chef was excellent…..Mario was great too taking orders and chatting to guests….both made our stay special…
Excellent Premier Inn Hotel.
Facilities, decor etc as expected in this hotel chain. Everything very clean, bed comfortable, large, powerful walk-in shower, air-con/heating worked well and very quiet to allow for a good sleep.
And perfectly located in the centre of St Helier.... shops, cafes, restaurants, harbour, bus station etc all within a few minutes walk.
I didn't eat in the hotel and so am unable to review the restaurant.
Overall a great, centrally located place to stay for a week in St Helier.
This is my second time "adding a review" the first was lost or deleted for some reason. This is not a place to stay in Jersey. Too much drama. Paid for a larger room and the air conditioner was broken. Given a smaller room. Let's call it the room of disease. Contracted some type of rash on my legs that spread to 90% of my body. Was definitely from something in the room. Front desk manager was not too much help. Let's call her the eye-roller since that is what she did every time I saw her. The bed and pillows were horrible and I cannot believe there was a placard advisement in the room selling these. For what? Pets. Miserable stay and never was asked how my stay was or even compensated for anything. I have stayed at the Bath street Premier Inn and it is night and day. Bath street was awesome, but not near main shopping. If I ever stay at a Premier Inn again, it would be Bath Street and walk. Do not recommend
Nothing wrong all good great team, will come back in the summer with my family will recommended the location and the. Thank you
The day after I arrived at the hotel I noticed some removal men moving mattresses into and out of the hotel. Nothing was communicated with me about this so I thought nothing of it. Out of habit I leave the "do not disturb" sign on my hotel room door. One day I returned to the hotel early to find my room door wide open with two removal men moving out the bed and putting a new one in. All my possessions had been dumped into the corner of the room and my shoes crushed under the new mattress which had been propped against the wall. At no point had staff communicated the change of mattress to me and that removal men would be in and out of my room that contained my things.
Later that day after the bed had been changed I returned to the room to find a paid of men's boxers on the floor which very evidently had visible "skid" marks in them, they were not mine and I'm assuming had been found under the bed when they moved it about but instead of them or the cleaner disposing of them (the cleaner had been in to make up the bed) they left them on the floor right next to the head end of the bed. Really disgusting!!
The hotel was in a good location. The bed was comfortable. Ample hot water. The reception was not very hospital when we arrived. The duty manager was rather abrupt in letting us know that check in was at 3 pm when we just wanted to leave our luggage as we arrived early. The hotel charged us for our room when it was already prepaid to Expedia 3 months ago. We are still trying to resolve this as no receipt was provided when asked. When checking the room to ensure nothing left behind we found candy wrappers under the bed, housekeeping needs to be more thorough in cleaning. Right now we are not happy and would not return.
The hotel is situated in the centre of St Helier, easy walking to lots of pubs, cafes, restaurants and shops.
It is clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The room was clean and functional, with tea and coffee making facilities and a hair dryer.
Bed was comfortable and bathroom was ok with over bath shower, two bath towels are provided but you can request a change once used if required.
We did not try the restaurant for breakfast or evening meal as we were visiting our son, eating out with him and his girlfriend but it looked busy.
Prices are OK they even serve beers at £5.50 for an IPA.
The reason for my average score is that on Sunday morning, early, we were woken by the sound of children shouting, jumping up and down and running up and down the corridor.
This was on the same floor as reception and the restaurant, so must have been heard by staff, but nothing was done.
It just spoilt out experience somewhat, as we had wanted to lie in after a hectic Saturday touring the island and a great night out in some of the pubs.
We would probably stay again or try the other one down the road.
Excellent location - 5 mins walk from Liberation Square Bus Station.
The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and extremely quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Breakfast offered an excellent selection, in pleasant surroundings, with minimal interaction from the staff (that's a plus by the way - I do so hate it when your meal is interrupted every five minutes by well meaning staff enquiring "Is everything alright?")
I'd definitely stay there again.
Brilliant.
Staff were lovely. Cameron and August were very polite and friendly. Made me feel very welcome.
Food was delicious and very reasonably priced.
