Very affordable, staff friendly and accommodating, rooms clean and tidy couldn’t ask for more, also staff was at hand to advise on local things to do and roadworks happening in the area
Great staff, friendly & helpful, rooms the usual standard (you generally know what you’ll get with a Premier Inn). Restaurant next door was decent food at a good price, friendly & efficient service. Parking seemed plentiful.
Would use this one again.
Check in quick and efficient, had to go back as room keys didn't work but all rectified.
Hotel a little tired looking and was the same on the room. However avoid staying on the ground floor, we were woken up at least 4 times during the night when the room above went to the loo or whatever they were doing stomping around in the middle of the night. Then again at 04:45 as they had a shower and generally stomped around packing I presume. Breakfast was good to be fair.
So noisy with drunk people , then police arriving 2 am in the morning making arrests , lots of screaming etc , so very disturbed rest
Lovely place
Really nice staff especially John, Amber & Lizzie who was also extremely easy on the eye too
Will be back again
We stopped here as we're were attending a funeral, the staff were super friendly and brightened up our mood, with extensive knowledge of local restaurants and area, the rooms we're spotless, very comfortable. Meg, Elizabeth and Joy, thank you for your kindness and wonderful sense of humour and professionalism. I can't wait to return!
Lizzie and Meg were amazing very welcoming and helpful highly recommend would definitely come back when booking another trip to Cornwall on a work trip
Reception friendly and welcoming. We should have warned of accessibility needs before travelling but didn't- but reception happily found us a closer room to reception on request. Staff in the restaurant seemed short staff and not that attentive, but the food was very good.
Absolutely amazing stay, the whole family was here for a Christening and everyone loved it. Great rooms and such friendly helpful staff who really went above and beyond to make everything perfect for us. Thank you so so very much!
Room was too hot, A/C didnt work and was noisy, power cut during the night for hours so no electricity, Breakfast awful, cold and poor selection. Left review and complaint but no response
Amazing service from Lizzie and Meg tonight, as soon as we walked in you could see they were doing the job of 6 people, rushed off thier feet but handling it all cool, calm and professionally, a credit to any employer, Fantastic job ladies
Hotel was clean, staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, room clean and area was quiet. Handy for RMAS. Would recommend to book.
"Absolutely fantastic experience! Poppy and Louise were amazing - super friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. They went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed and more. When an issue arose, they sprang into action and sorted it out in no time. The ladies at the front of house were delightful to deal with - so helpful and friendly. We felt truly looked after and can't wait to stay again! Great people make great staff 👏👏👏
The receptionists Elizabeth and Jenny were very friendly and welcoming, my room was very clean and the bed comfortable, I would definitely stay here again. 👌
Elizabeth & Jenny offered excellent advice on local amenities and were a pleasure to deal with. Would definitely come again
Premier Inn is our go to when ever we travel as you know what to expect.
We booked Premier Inn Sandhurst as we were attending a family Christening nearby. The hotel is situated on a busy junction and entrance to the car park wasn't well signposted and the exit is straight on to the junction so difficult to navigate.
The service at reception was extremely slow by Premier Inn standards with the receptionist taking a while to come to the desk and not really offering an explanation.
The rooms were standard Premier Inn which was what we expected, clean and functional.
We booked the meal deal which came with some surcharges on some dishes but generally represented good value although whenever I travel alone, I don't have breakfast choosing to buy something on the go instead.
The quality of our evening meal was OK as was the service. However, I was extremely disappointed that they refused to allow by 16 year old son to have a bottle of larger with me for our meal. Whilst acknowledging that it is up to the individual establishment, the law states that children of 14 can drink alcohol with a meal if supervised by a parent and we found the attitude of the waitress quite outdated.
Service at breakfast meanwhile was slow and in keeping with Premier Inn, generally poor value.
Booking in for my room and sorting any issues was bliss due to the two receptionist lizzie and Jen . Both of them made me feel welcome so far from home which was greatly appreciated. Rooms are cozy with all the amenities you would need for a short stay with your own ac that keeps you cool during the night . Gotta say one of my better hotel experiences and if sent down here again for work I would not protest that .
Yet another fabulous stay at Camborne Premier Inn 👏 .
Clean rooms , fast fill baths , blackout curtains an extremely comfortable bed !!!!
All the staff are so friendly and a special shout out to Lizzy and Mark who came to my rescue when I forgot order my drink 😁😁😁 Absolute stars 🌟 I will be returning 😀.
Stayed on a Sunday night at very low room rate.
Bed comfortable and room and bathroom clean and all we needed.
Confusion over late check out Monday morning was a disappointment as it really should be a simple request.
Fulfilled in the end.
Beefeater next door in the evening was very good value if not Michelin star, tasty and good.
The steak pie and chips recommended.
Others enjoyed the 4 starter as a main dish offer.
We enjoyed a very good English breakfast and 2 x continental for our party on Monday morning.
Overall, good value
Despite what appears to be quadruple glazing it was still possible to hear road noise. While this mostly was not too bad the occasional motorcycles revving up and the sirens of the emergency vehicles were definitely irritating. We had read the reviews, we had earplugs.
The kettle in our room was really badly stained - deep brown - and my wife was displaced that I accepted a replacement that was also stained, although not as badly. She thought it looked like mould spots and boiled/ drained the kettle 3 times before she was prepared to use it. She recommends they boil a bit of vinegar in there if descaling does not work.
Breakfast was the usual PI breakfast but there was a shortage of meat in the cottage pie for dinner.
The only reason this is not a lower rating is that all the staff were excellent.
