Excellent service and lovely staff. We will definitely come back! We found the whole experience delightful.
Lovely staff, very clean. The breakfast was presented beautifully and cooked to perfection by Joel, a credit to the company. Will definitely visit again. Thank you James Fox
I spent two nights here and it is well situated an easy walk from the centre of Cheltenham, the check in was really quick and the staff friendly. Its a smaller Premier Inn so the room didnt have a fridge or a safe but that really didnt matter, it was clean, comfortable, quiet, the bed was really comfortable and i had a really good nights sleep. I enjoyed the breakfast i had the full english option with the continental or you can have the continental option only, if you dont fancy walking into the centre the bus stop is handy with busses running every 10 minutes.
The room 29 was absolutely filthy
Floor filthy bathroom sink and bath filthy couldn't have a bath the plug broken
Kettle full of scale and what looked like phlegm in the bottom.
Remote absolutely filthy covered in dead skin and dust and falling apart.
Whole building very run down very disappointed and not up to the standard of any other Premier inns stayed in.
Do not stay here.
I hope premier inn will contact me to explain the extremely poor conditions of this hotel and a plan to improve cleaning and maintenance as this is not acceptable.
Couldn't complain at the time as we were under time constraints.
We parked fairly easily although a lot of the spaces are now used by people parking for McDonalds. The front of the hotel looks shabby now, but it did once look quite smart. Checking in was easy & our room looked pretty good. The beds & pillows were really comfy, as always. The bathroom looked in need of refurbishment. The towel rail was rusty. there was what looked like tin foil hanging off the shower curtain rail. In the bath here was thick black mould behind the soap dispenser, around the grab handles and under the overflow. This is purely due to a lack of proper cleaning & would be easy to remove with a squirt of household spray and an old toothbrush. The floor had an area of very thick dust. 2 mugs were provided so we could make tea or coffee but no glasses. Internet access was very dreadful and we chose not to pay an additional £5/day to upgrade - it's never been that bad when we've stayed here before so we think this is just a scheme to get an extra £5 a day from us. We've been coming for a couple of days once a year for quite a number of years and although the beds are still really comfy it all looks rather shabby now. I think we may have to look for an air B&B next year.
We stayed at the premier inn Cheltenham central (west/a40) hotel
Came up for a wedding, lovely stay and the the breakfast was absolutely delicious , all prepared by the Chef Joel , he went above and beyond in providing an exemplary service throughout ..
From check in to checking out service, cleanliness and breakfast were excellent. Staff helpful, food at breakfast was warm and freshly cooked.
Dining area very clean.
We stayed in the Cheltenham Premier inn with my family. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and all staff very friendly and welcoming. A special mention to Joel the chef who was very friendly. The food was cooked perfectly and my mum said they were the best poached eggs she’s ever had.
Always a nice stay. Friendly staff.
Been a few times visiting son in cheltenham.
Breakfast always lovely cooked by Joe in the kitchen
Will no doubt be down again soon
Dave and Debbie from york
Fantastic location, and Fantastic staff. Unfortunately rooms not too great, the fan was close to useless, bedside lamp wasn't working and table lamp was broken, my parter went to open curtains and the whole curtain bar fell off and hit her, mould growing around the window.
Decided on a late booking to stay here and it was a lovely hotel. Visited Cheltenham and surrounding area and would consider returning and in
Molto pulita. Facilmente raggiungibile e silenziosa. Biancheria di ottima qualità
Clean and convenient - visited Cheltenham for a nearby wedding. Lady on reception was very helpful and spotted that my friend had booked two rooms and refunded, even though we had booked a rate that couldn’t be cancelled with no fuss
Lovely chef at breakfast who took great care to make sure we were happy and it was all delicious.
I love exploring different parts of the cotswold each year. This year I searched and im so hapoy I booked this location. I sent Lisa an email a few weeks ago asking of its possible for a few balloons to be put up we were celebrating my sons birthday. Lisa went ober and beyond to make it so special. My son was so overwhelmed. Lisa came in to check if everything was OK. My son giving her a hug said it all.
Mark at reception was brilliant. Took time to talk to us. Extremely patient and polite.
The chef was so welcoming. We had booked the last slot for breakfast but nothing was too much for the chef. Took out plates to give us more room. Asked if we need anything. The location is perfect and the rooms are very clean. Customer service is 100%
Friendly reception staff, the room was okay but the mattresses were sub par - the breakfast was very average and i had better more fresher breakfasts at other PI venues. The chef was x-military and it was a little intimidating him standing in attention while we were eating our breakfast, it ruined the relaxing vibe, however he was polite and professional nevertheless.
A great hotel with really helpful staff. They provide us with some exceptional local knowledge which made all the difference.
One of the worst hotel experiences for quite some time. Dank smelly ground floor room. Most of the smell was emanating from a decrepit shower curtain. Not much in the way of facilities but was reasonably cheap.
The room was fine (comfy bed, as always), though you couldn't leave the window open because of the noise from the railway just outside. Fortunately, the double-glazing is good and there was air conditioning - though it was horribly noisy, making swishing sounds throughout the night (so not a great night's sleep). Staff on reception all very good. Breakfast room is dreadful - small, airless, windowless, cramped and with tiny tables. This area definitely needs a rethink!
Good for a short stay – standout staff member deserves recognition
I stayed here for one night. The hotel itself is fine for a short stay, but it would definitely benefit from some redecoration and modernisation.
The room was clean, with fresh towels and linen, which I appreciated.
While I was aware at the time of booking that the hotel doesn’t serve evening meals or have a full restaurant, its location quite far from the town centre makes this more of an inconvenience. It would really benefit from having an onsite dining option.
The standout part of my stay was the staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful, but one young gentleman working in the kitchen during breakfast really went above and beyond. He greeted guests politely, asked if they needed anything, cleared tables promptly, and even held doors open for people.
He was genuinely a credit to the team—hardworking, courteous, and professional. I hope someone in management or corporate sees this and recognises his potential within the hospitality industry.
Picked this hotel as we were going to the Fairford Airshow and using the park and ride at the racecourse., which was ideal.
The room was a little tired but considering the footfall that premier inn have it was what was expected.
Good breakfast, staff were pleasant and friendly.
Our stay was great so much so that we have booked again for next year.
