The stay was okay, but when checking out we had an incident where when returned a few minutes after checkout our key cards were no longer which was to be expected. So we went to front desk to ask for the keys to be enabled so we could get our luggage and bags. When we were told that they had no record of us being there and the room was showing as empty. We told them that’s not possible we had been there the past 2 nights and we needed to get to the train station as soon as possible. I get there are policies and protocols they will have to follow but the lack of concern or critical thinking to help us resulted in missing our train and having to pay £90 for another train. It turned a decent stay into a very stressful trip.
This Premier Inn was a very good place to stay for 2 nights on our way back north to Scotland. It's near several major shopping malls with great stores and supermarkets, but the traffic to and fro can be crowded and tricky during rush hours and on weekends. There are plenty of parking but the spaces are tight. The two-way road/entrance to this Premier Inn is narrow. Reception staff was a mix: one was businesslike and another was super friendly and helpful. Lobby can be very noisy if a large groups are hanging out there and in the adjacent bar/pub, which has great drinks and food menus. Room was well-appointed and the bed was very comfortable. Wifi was good but did get weak at certain times of the day.
Nice disabled room's plenty of space for our wheel chairs. Nice clean room, well serviced, decent mugs for your drinks, easy to get extra tea/milk etc.
A pretty standard Premier Inn - helpful staff, nice atmosphere, and clean rooms 💜 Isn’t the first time I’ve been here, and won’t be the last either ☺️
We went for my birthday breakfast. We were seen to straight away and shown to a nice table by the window. The table was clean and tidy with everything needed on it. There was lots of food to choose from. It was all hot and very tasty. We asked if there was any gluten free toast and within a few minutes some was brought to our table. It was a lovely way to start my birthday. The food, the cleanliness and the staff were all spot on. I would also like to mention that the two waitresses, Aleena and Helen, were very friendly and efficient. All in all it was a very pleasant breakfast.
Shocking attitude from the checking in staff when asking about the hotel parking , and breakfast restaurant was full in the morning so my family of 4 had to eat their breakfast in the hotel lobby by the check in desks … not what I expected . 0/10 rating . 1 unhappy family .
We stayed as a family of 4 for one night to break up our trip on the way to Cornwall. Our room was directly underneath the stairs and we only realised how loud it was when we went to bed. It sounded like there were elephants above us throughout the night with people coming and going so we got no sleep. This is not ideal after a long journey and with a 1 year old and 7 year old.
In addition to this, the service in the restaurant was awful. There was a long wait for the food which parents will know with a 1 year old this can be very difficult. Most staff members did not seem to care which was a shame. When we asked for the bill it did not come and were again waiting ages so ended up going to the bar to pay. They could not seem to deal with the number of customers in the restaurant. This was not a relaxing stay and we would not stay again unfortunately.
Great location just off the M5 plenty of parking at the hotel and it's free!!!!
Food is the best I have had at any Premier inn so far
Thank you to Cathy for great service within the restaurant, service was brilliant, very kind and polite and made our stay very pleasant
I have stayed here a few times and it's clean and comfortable . The staff are friendly and welcoming but one stands out she is always smiling and nothing is too much trouble. She remembered our drinks order 😁 . Her name is Cathy.
Satisfied customer. Andy.
Been visiting Cribbs Causway for 6 to 7 weeks now and so had the chance to see the team over a period of time. They're always friendly and engaging with clean rooms and good food, a real bonus.
I would like to highlight Cathy. She is has a smile for every person who eats, she talks to customers I a human way, waits for them to decide or helps them. Ive seen her at busy times, the service doesn't drop. Shes an asset to the business.
If you want to stay somewhere, I would recommend here without any hesitation or concern! Great hotel with great team.
Room OK , floors could have been a little cleaner but the much trumpeted coffee machines don’t offer or supply any decaf coffee which was disappointing.
Stayed at a lot of Premier inn s all fine. This one exceptional in every aspect. Free indoor parking and plenty outside too. Very clean public areas . Very close to M5 perfect for breaking a journey up down to Cornwall from Lancashire
I stayed here for work recently, two weekends running. It's the ideal spot. Exactly what you need it to be but above everything else, the staff are unbelievably friendly. They couldn't be more helpful actually and on my return the second week, they remembered me. Particular mention goes to Poppy who is just lovely. She is so good at her job and has a lovely, warm nature. Rachael was a diamond. She was so accommodating when our large party arrived for dinner - all absolutely exhausted from a huge work day - we hadn't made a reservation but she made it work and we were all beyond grateful. Finally to Ben, also in the restaurant. He was just lovely and really warm, friendly and patient. 10/10 for customer service. You made a long work spell away from my family that little bit easier. Thank you.
Lovely modern Premier Inn with excellent facilities and very friendly team. One of the best Premier Inns we’ve ever stayed at.
The staff went above and beyond the call of duty special thanks to Rachael and Helen who help to look after my wifes needs cant thank them enough please thank them for me Thanks again
Stop in to have breakfast and was greeted by Helen and Aleena. They made me feel so welcome. I am visiting from America and I’ve been to a lot of places but this location really made me feel at home. Both ladies kept stopping by my table making sure everything was ok. I really appreciated two welcoming faces and they also gave me some good advice on places to visit while in Bristol.
A huge disappointment was the restaurant, most of what they advertised on the menu was off. No rice for the Curry's, no pies etc. When we did find something to order it looked like someone had thrown it onto the plate from a distance! The drink situation was as bad, no sauvignon blanc.
The hotel was fine. Check in was all automated! The car park was very handy and well lit.
Comfy, quiet and clean room, friendly staff, good food, great parting facilities and wonderful feel to this Premier Inn. Exactly what every Premier Inn should be. We will definitely be back and will bring the rest of the family.
Stayed here to break up the long journey to Cornwall. The premier plus room we’d booked was underwhelming but thankfully clean and comfortable enough. Bathroom very basic and disappointingly didn’t have a bath which would have been useful to bathe my baby after a long journey.
Breakfast was very disappointing - coffee machine faulty, no veggie sausages or bacon as advertised (none left in the hotel, apparently) and pastries poor quality. The staff that we encountered (in the restaurant, didn’t see a soul elsewhere) were lovely and helpful, but clearly overworked.
Not a bad place to stay by any means and cheap enough, however breakfast could have been better.
