Kay was great but breakfast on our first morning wasnt good. The cook burnt the full english and my poached eggs were hard. Dreading breakfast the following day it was completly different not burnt at all. Possibly down to a different cook. Only had 1 bath towel but reception rectified this.
I have stayed in the hotel on numerous occasions whilst I have had building works done.
The hotel is always clean and the rooms are very comfortable. The restaurant serves an evening meal and all you can eat breakfast.
The biggest thanks need to go to Dawn, Georgina and Josh. They always make me feel welcome, especially when I’m sat on my own in the restaurant. Thank you guys.
Very good experience central in town very good atmosphere and friendly staff food good will use again very clean hotel good value.
Comfortable room, good location, good breakfast, the shower over the bath was difficult to use so my wife had a bath, very deep bath causing a problem for my wife when getting out, needs hand rail fitting on wall.
Brilliant location. We expected noise with being a town location but it was really quite.. didn't hear any noise at all.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The place was spotless all the areas of the hotel and the room.
I only wished I could open the window a little to get some fresh air in as we found the room a little hot and stuffy.
The location is good on the corner near the local shops and only a short walk to the sea and pier.
The atmosphere wasn't great.
The rooms are lovely we had a Premier Plus room on the third floor, it has everything you want the beds are comfy the bathroom is great with power shower and 2 lights with a dimmer one for night time.
The room had a fridge with 2 bottles of water and hairdryer and iron and ironing board and kettle and coffee machine.
Brilliant value for money.
It was very clean and the noise levels was ok even though they are doing the path outside, we had a great night's sleep.
The service was ok apart from breakfast I don't know if they had a new chef but the first day the breakfast was ok but the second day the bacon was hard and the scrambled egg wasn't set it was all runny on the plate.
The evening meal was ok, but you had to wait and there was only certain things on the menu, as they hadn't ordered enough in. The chef could only cope with one order at a time, like one at 6pm one at 6.30pm etc. He couldn't do like 2 couples placing an order at 6pm.
So a great place to stay but not to eat at the moment.
General cleanliness of the room needs attention, which is not what I expected from a premier inn unfortunately. There was hairs found in the bed, dirt found in and around the bathroom, carpet has a musty smell. (Please see attached photo of the bathroom wet wipes) This is not what I expected to do on my evening that I arrived.
Great stay in fab location for 1) Seven Sisters coast walk - using local buses to the start then walking back to hotel. 2) Local restaurants and seafront. 3) Close to several great off road bike trails- Bedgebury, Friston & South Downs Way. Car park is off site & payable (very reasonable) but very close with a loading bay outside the hotel if needed.
Usual decent room with comfy bed and love that we can store our bikes in the room. Room was too hot but staff got us a fan which was sufficient to keep us comfortable ( would benefit from air con in Summer).
Friendly & helpful staff who gave us great tips for local restaurants. Had fab Turkish at Turkuaz, and fab (amazing value) set menu at Pomodoro Mozzarella Italian. Breakfast & dinner in the hotel restaurant were very good too.
Five stars, located within a 10 minute walk from the train station and beach.
Premier plus room was clean and warm, great air conditioning for when it got a little to warm with the sun in the room, room 312 located at the rear of the hotel so no road noise, view of roof tops and 1960’s concrete multi storey car park, but don’t visit places to sit in room and look out of the window!
All staff encountered from front of house to housekeeping attentive and friendly a great team on my stay.
Room clean and hallways / public areas.
The hotel is very conveniently located, only a short walk from both the station and the seafront. We couldn’t fault the cleanliness of our room and it was perfectly comfortable and quiet at night. Dinner was a bit chaotic on the first night with an hour’s wait for food, but there was a vast improvement on our second and third nights. Breakfast is always lovely at Premier Inn, food in the evenings was a bit hit and miss. The banoffee cheesecake was particularly horrible, but I enjoyed everything else I had and couldn’t complain about the meal deal price. The staff were perfectly pleasant to us and I would stay here again in the future.
I had a great stay recently! Check in was efficient, the room was clean and bed was so comfortable! Breakfast was delicious, all hot and fresh! Didn't have dinner as was out with family but the menu looked nice. Great location as its very central to the shops. Would stay again!
We decided to do a late booking to Eastbourne for a long weekend break.
We decided to go back to the Premier Inn in the town centre as we have been before.
We were advised that there are currently roadworks outside the hotel but they we not a problem as it was a bank holiday so no workmen around.
We have been to this Premier Inn a couple if times before as we like the central location and close proximity to the pier and beach.
This has always been a very clean and well maintained hotel.
The food is alwaus excellent with the buffet breakfast alway being hot and not just warm like many other hotels.
The staff we all very friendly and approchable but a big shout out to both Dawn and JD who were on when returned to the hotel in the evenings.
Usually we get back and just head to our room but these two are amazing ambassadors who took time out of their busy schedules to just have a chat and a laugh. Felt like we were spending an evening with old friends !
Only downside to the hotel is no onsite parking, so parking in the roads and having to move the car as around the actual hotel there is a 2 hour parking limit, although longer parking is available a few minutes walk away, but, this is due to the town centre location.
Would definately go back again and highly recomment this particular Premier Inn.
Very good location close to the beach & parking, friendly staff, bonus of beautiful church view from our room window, lovely unlimited breakfast next morning
We have stayed at this hotel every August for the last 7 years and have always enjoyed our stay, this year sadly it wasn't as good. we booked in on the saturday afternoon and at this point we requested that our room was serviced every day. We have always stayed for a week, and on the 5th day without asking the bed has been changed. The first three days of our stay our room was cleaned and fresh towels etc. on the 4th day we returned to find the room had not been done so my husband reported this to the receptionist who was very sorry and said it was down to be done, on the following day when we left the hotel we checked with the receptionist to make sure our room wad down to be cleaned. when we returned again this wasn't done and the bed wasn't changed as in previous years, my husband was leaving our room when he saw a member of staff who came into the room and although fresh towels were on the bed the surfaces and bins hadn't been done and the bathroom not wiped over, she promised to come back but never did. Luckily I care antic bac wipes so was able to clean all the surfaces and the bathroom. The following day we went out and yet again when returning we found our room had not been done, my husband then spoke to the manager who was very sorry and said he would get the room serviced, by now this was the last night of our stay. The room was then cleaned and offered a free breakfast the following morning. We only ate in the restaurant o the Monday evening and to be honest that was a complete disaster, our starters came out raw, I had breaded mushrooms and my husband had chicken goujons, these were quickly replaced. With our mains we ordered a side of onion rings but these did not arrive with our meal but about 20 minutes later when we had almost finished our mains. The meal cost £55.00 but we didn't do the meal deal so due the poor service we did expect to get the onion rings omitted from the meal as they arrived a bit too late and if had known they would have taken so long we would have cancelled them. The free breakfast was fine. Such a shame as all the staff are very friendly but have been let down big time by the cleaning staff.
My stay here was very relaxing. Whilst first impressions of the hotel are not great (grubby carpet at entrance, dingy reception, building works outside) my room , the excellent location & the service more than made up for it. I opted for a Premier Plus room, it was spacious & had everything I needed. It was cleaned every day at my request with no issues. Due to bad food reviews on here I didn't opt for any meals so I can't comment on breakfast etc. There are loads of cafes & restaurants nearby so it wasn't a deal breaker for me. I would happily stay again.
Just spent a few days away with my son and grandchildren staying at the Premier Inn, Eastbourne town centre. Every member of staff we spoke to were extremely polite and helpful and we had a great weekend. Thank you. My first trip to Eastbourne and I was very impressed. It’s was great with live music, great pubs and cafes and we enjoyed Pirates day at the Pier too. A trip on the open top bus was a lovely way to get around and The Belgian bar on the corner near us was great and I sampled margarita oysters! Well done Eastbourne and Premier Inn, we’ll be back. !
Lovely hotel very clean and staff were amazing and lovely. Great location especially if you want to explore the area and close to bus stops that take you to south downs.
I did get a good night sleep at all bed was no good I ordered some food downstairs & they got my order wrong 2x times on the last day breakfast was cold & missing black pudding & tomatoes
We did stay at the Premier Inn Eastbourne nights in a Premier Plus room.Town Centre for 4 nights in a Premier Plus room number 304.
We had stayed at this same hotel last year and found everything to be perfect. This year the room, staff and facilities were very good. However since the breakfast arrangements have been changed to a self service buffet, this resulted in the hotel being let down by the hot food being stone cold. Considering the cost this was not acceptable.
We realise the large amount of noisy and dusty roadworks right outside the hotel is beyond your control, we do feel that this should be pointed out when booking, because of this and the fact that the beautiful famous carpet gardens being removed and replaced by loose shingle and blocks of wood like old railway sleepers and worse still all the bench seating along the promenade near the pier being removed has meant that those less able are now unable to sit down and relax. Eastbourne is not the lovely Eastbourne we used to love and enjoy, so we will not be returning to Eastbourne again.
We booked a room with 2 beds. Only one made up, and only one set of towels. Went out to eat, returned at 9pm - still the bed wasn't ready. Had to wait til 9.30. No kettle, and air con not functioning well, but a fan was produced. Dirty carpet and something not nice on the wall. Continental breakfast was dreadful, and very poor value for money. Probably the worst Premier Inn I have ever visited. I won't be back!
