Premier Inn Birmingham North - S.Coldfield

We had a ground floor twin bedroom. Nice and clean with very comfortable beds. Some biscuits with the tea and coffee would be nice.

Room was very clean. Staff were exceptionally friendly and very helpful. Kerry was more than helpful and welcoming on arrival.

It was a great stay, thank you to kerry for such great customer service. It was also a great location and many food places nearby

Had a great family stay, stay we’re all lovely, Kerry on reception went above and beyond for us this morning helping us navigate the areas and was so patient and kind, thanks for making our stay Kerry we will be back just to see you smiling face x

Very comfortable stay, and lovely warm welcome from Kerry and her son at reception.
Breakfast is provided by Flamming Grill next door and the breakfasts are cooked to order and a better quality than usual premier inn.

Kerry was fabulous and super wonderful checking us in! We’ll absolutely be staying here again. Beautiful rooms and fantastic holiday (fall/halloween) decorations in the check in area. Thank you so so much Kerry!!!

Staff were so friendly and accommodating dealt with a great lady called Kelly very helpful an asset to the Premier in chain

Hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful. Beds were comfy and room clean. Showers were nice and hot. Hair dryer didn't function well and no iron in room. In a very convenient location.

Fantastic stay at Sutton.
Was on a business trip and Kerry at the desk was very friendly and chatty and made us feel at home.
The room was lovely, but the car park was a bit dark and could have done with more lighting.

I will be returning in about 6 to 8 weeks because my mum is in the Nursing Home next door and it’s so easy to get to her

The hotel is in need of a refurbishment and didn’t feel very clean. The air con was broken, however we were provided with a fan.

Breakfast was disappointing, no buffet so had to order. Service was slow, with restrictions on quantities. Ran out of bacon.

Overall cleanliness was poor in the restaurant area.

We will not be returning as it was below the standard expectations of what we know a Premier Inn usually delivers.

Things started to go wrong when we arrived. I didn't read the emails you had sent before and we arrived at the hotel at 14.31, the lady on reception decided that if we wanted to check in she would charge us £15 for early checkin. We were less than half an hour early and the room was ready - she ended up letting us check inn. i have never experienced Ryanair customer service at Premier Inn's previously.
we went to our room, which wasn't to the usual standards, could see build up of dirt under beds and packaging just thrown under.
the toilet paper was rationed.
we had been given 1 bath towel and 2 hand towels for 4 people. after the initial greeting we didn't want to speak to the lady on reception so just got on with it
then when we returned to the hotel at 11pm, we took our children to bed, bearing in mind we only booked premier inn due to past experiences, to be woken to shouting and banging/crashing from other guests at approx 1am, it disturbed our sleep and made us worry for our safety - we had a TERRIBLE experience at this site

Not the usual Premier inn experience for us unfortunately, this is an older property and is generally worn and tired, very creaky with a funky smell in the corridors.
Room was clean but again very tired, problem with the shower pressure that affected the temperature, possibly water use elsewhere affecting it ?
One massive plus was the lady on reception, didn’t catch her name but she was extremely polite and helpful and is an absolute star.
Didn’t have an evening meal but the breakfast in the attached pub was freshly cooked and very nice.
Personally wouldn’t stay again.

Smooth booking in, girls were very friendly and helped me get breakfast booked ahead of tomorrow. Looking forward to my stay

Always a great stay, clean rooms, and the pub downstairs is a great spot for a pint. Beer garden outside is newly renovated and the perfect spot when the sun is shining! The staff all have a smile and friendly service, kerry looked after us beautifully.

Great hotel with friendly staff. My children love a premier inn and are never disappointed. Only reason for low stars is that we got a parking fine for using the supposedly free parking. Parking is not free and you will later recieve a fine through your door. Extremely angry at this

Firstly the good stuff comfortable room and bed nice and clean,

Now the bad stuff the air con was not working. I had to close the windows because of a low pitched hum all night do not stay in 202! If only I would have had a few more drinks I might of got more than 2 hours sleep.
