Premier Inn Balsall Common - Near Nec

Me and my lovely fiancée stayed at ballsall common premier inn and I’ve got to say it was outstanding, The rooms and modern and comfortable with cozy feel to them. The staff was extremely welcoming and police to me and my fiancée. I have to mention the receptionist because he gave us the full experience but showing us to our room and explaining where all the facilities are and with times they are available till. He was very polite and made us feel so welcome. The food was amazing and fresh and there’s not one thing or part of this premier inn I can complaint about, would highly recommend this to all people, family and friends.

Although decor in some areas is beginning to look a little tired the accommodation was clean and comfortable. All of the staff, both at Premier Inn and The Beefeater were friendly, polite and efficient and the food both at breakfast and in the evening was good. Quite close to NEC and easy to find following Sat nav.

There was pubic hair in the sink
Human hair in the plughole of the bath/shower
Window that wouldn't close by where our daughter was sleeping she was freezing and the sill kept having pools of water on it our daughter ended up sleeping with us! There was an awful odour from the toilet everytime it was flushed!
The breakfast was awful pale bacon; slimy eggs and the sausages tasted strange!
My daughter is full of cold and my husband has a dodgy stomach
We stayed from the 14-16th November 2025!
No clean towels provided for two days
Oh and I also on two seperate occasions heard staff members talking badly about guests!!!

Easy 24hr check in, freindly staff,spacious rooms,lovely clean and comfortable bed,and right next-door too a beefeater which does a great breakfast.

Premier Inns are always very similar and this was no exception.

We had booked so we could go to NEC which is 10 minutes drive away.

Parking is free but you have to remember to register your car.

From the moment we arrived we couldn't find a fault with the hotel. The staff were so friendly and the service was great. It was lovely to still be greeted by a person on reception (and not a screen), but to then be further greeted with a hand written note welcoming us to the hotel in our room, its the little things that really count.
The room was clean and well equipped with all the standard tea, coffee, soaps etc you expect, but we also had an openable window and a fan (although the temperature was fine). The bed and bedding was so comfortable we all had an amazing nights sleep.
We used the beefeater next door for our evening meal and breakfast the food was of a good standard but again it was the welcome and the service that were second to none, everyone was so friendly and helpful, checking everything was ok for us and nothing was too much trouble for anyone.

Had a lovely stay with my partner. We were checked in by mia, who was absolutely adorable. She explained breakfast times, and if we needed anything, she was on till late. We will definitely recommend . Thank you

By far the best Premier Inn we have stayed at, friendly, helpful staff who made us feel very welcome. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left every member of staff was very helpful, kind and funny. The room was very clean, comfortable and a great size for a family room. Great value for money, we will definitely stay there again.

Staff could not be more helpful dealing with any issues especially Mia who went out of her way to ensure a satisfactory room was supplied and that everything was in order. Excellent customer service by her and it was greatly appreciated.

We stayed at this hotel for the NEC ReformUK conference. Although the outside of the hotel and parking area looked very rundown. Reception and restaurant staff were first class. Our evening meal was extremely enjoyable as was our breakfast.A also had a really good night sleep, thanks very much.

This place is home from home. I stay regularly as a solo female visiting an elderly parent nearby. It feels so safe and welcoming. Special shout out to Mia-Rose on reception who goes above and beyond making me feel welcome.

One of the workers (mark ) was exceptional he controlled the whole breakfast area himself and he deserves an award he ensured that we were all happy and he was just a friendly guy

We recently stayed at Premier Inn Balsall Common for a WWE show at the NEC. It was very reasonably priced considering I booked at the last minute, very easy to find and great free parking available.
Staff were very attentive and helped us out as we were there with 2 children so made it very easy for us by booking us a taxi straight to the show. On our arrival back to the hotel after our show, we were surprised with a lovely note and treats which our boys were very pleased about! Such a lovely touch and grateful for a stress free very memorable trip! Would definitely stay here again if we visit the NEC again in the future.

Regulars with Premier Inn. First time at Balsall Common. Will most definitely stay there again. Receptionist, Sinead went above and beyond. Accessible room was exactly that, bathroom and bedroom spacious and very clean. Very easy access from room to the foyer for a mobility scooter. Meal deal good value. Although, if like us, you sleep from 2200hrs to 1136hrs, without murmuring, you miss breakfast. As is usual, very comfortable sleep. Thanks for an exceptionally good stay.

A warm welcome from the reception staff on arrival with an easy check in and able to book breakfast the following morning (glad we did as it was pretty full).
Room was clean and pleasant (if a few signs of wear and tear). We even had a bar of chocolate, sweets for the kids and a personalised welcome card which was a great touch.
We all slept well and had a great shower in the morning, before breakfast and check out.
