My wife and I visited during the week on a Thursday night.
The hotel is centrally located with excellent parking.
The room was warm and comfortable and the check-in was a breeze.
The food was reasonably priced and surprisingly good and the staff were all friendly and helpful.
All in all an enjoyable stay.
We has a family were very disappointed with our stay
The room was very cold together with common areas We were told the heating was broken and they had been waiting two weeks for repairs.
We were given a heater which was electric hence to use it we had to leave a card in the room hence a possible fire hazard but we were advised to do this by an employee.
The breakfasts were reasonable and on the whole staff were adequate.
As a result of the lack of heating my wife has been unwell and was glad to get home
We have used premier inns on numerous occasions and are very disappointed
Stay at Premier Inn Briddlington
I stayed there from Wednesday night to Sunday morning this week..
Despite the car park being difficult to find at night if you have never been there, I had a lovely stay.
Staff all around were helpful even late at night on my arrival,I was delayed by the snow between the motorway and the hotel...
Breakfast was amazing, can not faut it...
Arrived with friends and family checked in at 3. Two couples in premier rooms all fine but couple in standard room paid for their room only to be told after that there room had no heating after! A small heater was placed in the room was told by lady on reception this was on a day where it was snowing and very cold! Was told no room available to swap to as hotel full! Was told by reception that they had tried to contact everyone to let them know but we had had no contact whatsoever! The heater in the room was very unsafe as feet were damaged. Was told the next morning that the heating wouldn’t be repaired during our stay but still no offer of any change of room. After speaking to a different receptionist was told to contact customer services as no manager available which we did only to be told nothing can be done till we checked out. Was asked was we offered alternative accommodation no we weren’t! Anyway basically we had to put up with no heating for two nights and use a dodgy heater! Luckily the two premier plus rooms were excellent and the rest of the party were happy. £5 a night to park paid on arrival and hotel is in a great location. On returning home we did get an email to say our money we had paid for the room with no heating would be refunded. Overall a good stay but slightly disappointed with the attitude of staff and communication with us
The lady front desk staff was unpleasant which was however changed by a better service coming from the next day staff (Samuel). The new room where we have been transferred made a huge difference with our unpleasant experience.
Parking needs to be paid as u have parked otherwise you might end up paying fine.
Very courteous, professional and helpful staff. Not just the receptionists but room attendants and catering personnel as well.
Clean, tidy and clutter free.
Pretty standard premier inn.
Clean and comfortable, bed lovely.
Great view from the 4th floor.
Samuel on reception was great, went that extra mile to make us feel welcome.
Our first time at Bridlington Tuesday 21st October. Man on reception helped us book in and also assisted with operating the car booking in machine. Compared with Scarborough North Bay we found the room small and only had a walk in shower. Asked about a better room but was told the hotel was full. Okay accepted that. Next morning the shower was a dribble from a cheap shower head. Down to Breakfast. The tables were sticky with black residue in parts. The person on duty said it was because of the varnish. Had someone tried to re varnish the table top and it had not fully taken? From a hygiene point of view did not seem impressive. My paper napkin actually stuck to the table as if it was glued to it. Onto the food which was on a hot plate with lamps above. The heat was still frying the black pudding as it sizzled. The eggs looked and tasted like plastic. The bacon was so hard my knife would not cut through it. Ideal for resoling my shoes. We then decided to order poached eggs from the kitchen and these proved to be ok as they were freshly cooked. So breakfast consisted of poached eggs, beans and a piece of bread. Nothing like the £10.99 all in.
There is evidence of wear and tear in this hotel and come on Premier Inn get these table tops replaced. Position of the hotel is good but otherwise far behind North Bay. Where is the management of this place. The guy on the desk when we left looked untidy and sums up this hotel.
Nice hotel.lovely location.
Samuel on reception gave us excellent advice about the area.
He was very helpful and gave a great service. We had a lovely sea view room which was spotless and the cleaning staff were very helpful too. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
Hotel is well placed near to many attractions, bars and restaurants. The car park on site was a good size. Room was clean and also a good size, the addition of a coffee machine and the fridge was very welcome. Staff were friendly, polite and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
The Premier Inn on Bridlington seafront is in an excellent location and has a large car park. You have to pay for parking but get a special rate as a hotel guest. You simply enter your registration on a pad by the main door and pay (£5 per day).
Check in was friendly and our room up to the usual good standard.
We didn’t opt for the breakfast buffet as, to be honest, I’m getting a bit fed up with lukewarm Premier Inn fare. I reckoned that Bridlington would have plenty of traditional cafes where you can get a freshly cooked breakfast. I was right, and highly recommend Tea @33 on Hilderthorpe Road.
Decent room, I found the level of staff was lacking in quality and numbers on shift was a disservice to the customers. Trying to get a an accurate answer out of any of them was impossible and the manager did not really know what to do and seemed passive aggressive when she actually showed up (Her office was opposite the front desk)
All staff were amazing!
Especially Sam (nightstaff), Samuel, Hannah & Hayley.
We stay every year and couldn’t ask for better service.
AMAZING!
Rich & All of TAG Circus!!
Quality hotel. Clean and tidy. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was excellent and good value. Only slight downside is you have to pay for parking which i think should be included. but it is under £5 for 24hrs.
Two nights, and not impressed, sea views are there but it was a side view through net curtains.
Room OK, bed comfy, however, eating area dirty, breakfast , bit over cooked and rubbery eggs. Down stairs loo for gents closed, used handicapped loo it was dirty, felt dirty using it. Hotel in good location. Parking tenner for two nights. Would I use it again. Possibly, but prefer full front sea view.
Central location. Large room. Good lighting & a decent hairdryer. Comfy bed but hard pillows although there is a zipped bag in the room where you can get softer pillows. No phone or fridge in room. Bathroom large but basic with only liquid soap on wall provided. Toilet had a school type toilet sheet paper dispenser. If staying longer than one night you have to make a request at Reception to have your room cleaned & bed made (I thought this was a hotel?) Reception staff very helpful. Good selection at breakfast. Be advised that if you are unfortunate to have a room facing south (harbour side) there is a very loud and noisy kitchen fan extractor. On the two days I was there, it started ay 6.30 am until 9.30 pm all day, could be heard above the TV and the following day it was from 5.30 am, which woke me up. Unfortunately Reception could not change my room as busy. so try and get a room on the North Side, facing Flamborough Head.
Parking expensive but there is off street parking adjacent for 1 hr between 9 am & 6 pm & overnight no restriction. Premier Inn is at the budget end of the many hotel chains but still can be expensive depending on the time of year that you visit, because it is a holiday town.
This is the worst premier in we have stayed in we are usually happy with them. Hardly anyone present at reception you need to press the buzzer for attention. We were given a room on 4th floor when we opened the door onto the corridor the smell was terrible. The room had a bad smell as well. We went down to 3rd floor awful smell there and the same for the second floor. The first floor was ok. The young girl changed our room to 1st floor but our room had a damp smell which every time you entered it hit you. The hotel windows do not open and I do not think this helps. The corridors are the same no fresh air. We were never told when breakfast was just assumed it would be the same times as other ones. The breakfast was good. We had previously stayed at Liverpool dock a couple of weeks ago and the difference in staff there who are friendly and always on reception. The windows can be opened as well. The one at Bridlington does have a good spot and the sea views are from the side but the smell means we wouldn't return.
Paid £135 for one night then checked on the day of my arrival and the room was down to £75
Then have to pay a further £5 to park in the car park
That days of premier in been a cheap break have gone
September a good month to go. Not so busy more relaxed. Great staff very helpful. Good wet room easy access.
Very pleasant stay warm & comfortable.
All in all a very pleasant stay. The staff were pleasant and welcoming, the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast that we had was good quality. The one and only downside was that my wife who has a lactose intolerance couldn't have any cereal at breakfast. We have not found any hotels so far in the UK that stock lactose free milk.
