Zimmer alles top! Frühstück very british… so wie man es liebt! Personal sehr zuvorkommend.
We went for the meal deal which included 2 courses and a drink.
The food is absolutely abysmal!
Most of the menu wasn’t available.
What was available was prepared by the receptionist and took ages to come out.
When it did it wasn’t worth the wait. It was either overcooked and inedible or cheap microwaved rubbish.
We didn’t finish the meal and walked out it was so awful.
In fairness the lady who was serving was doing her best and was very friendly.
The room itself is ok, but the experience in the “restaurant” has completely put us off ever coming back.
You know what to expect.
The bed was very comfortable.
The room was nice and quiet.
It was just a few minutes walk down the road to the black country museum and the Dudley archives.
Food options in the area are a little limited.
From the initial welcome, the cleanliness of the room, right through to the level of service from the staff, this is by far the best Premier Inn that I’ve ever stayed at! As I stay away 3 nights a week, I get to see the good, the bad, and sadly, the very very ugly side of Premier Inn’s. Please don’t change what you’re doing here! 😊👍
This has to be one of the best stays we’ve had at a Premier Inn. The cleanliness and comfort were excellent, and the hotel’s location was easy to find with plenty of parking available. There were lots of amenities within walking distance for food and drink, which made everything really convenient.
We stayed for an event at the arena, and although we looked into public transport, driving was far quicker and more cost-effective, just £7 for parking compared to the longer, pricier public transport options. This is no reflection on the hotel itself, but rather on the limitations of the local transport network.
Staff on reception were incredibly helpful, both during check-in and when we requested a room clean after a spill on the bedding from our little boy, they responded quickly and kindly. The rooms were spacious, with plenty of coat hangers and thoughtful touches throughout.
When we arrived, our little boy was a bit past himself and feeling crabby after the journey. The staff member who checked us in noticed straight away and kindly pointed out the delay on the security camera screen. It instantly lifted his mood, he found it hilarious watching himself jump after he’d already jumped! It was such a thoughtful gesture and made a real difference to the start of our stay.
We genuinely cannot fault the hotel or the staff. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful night’s sleep in a perfect location.
weekend was hard to find a member of staff never anyone at reception bathroom door had to be kept closed because of smell & unable to find staff to help with the paid for wifi that would not work
We loved our stay, room had a great view of the castle
Surprised to find no bar just bottled beer, and the dinner menu was sparse, however you are very close to a hungry horse pub, Macdonald s, Pizza hut etc
Must mention Lauren who was very attentive and works really hard, she should be given a pay rise, she's a star
Very close to the castle and zoo and the black country museum
Excellent stay at the premier inn, check in was very easy, staff all very pleasant & free parking was a bonus.
The room although opposite a very busy road was very quiet, comfortable & clean.
Well done
Amazing place, feel like coming home when go here. The staff are amazing. Wouldn't stay anywhere else. Rooms nice and big, clean and comfortable. Staff are so nice
Great premier Inn. Room 110 was a lot bigger than room 111! Very friendly staff. We had a great holiday, thank you.
Breakfast was good and Serbia l served by great staff.
Excellent hotel in a great location for the Black Country Museum and Zoo.
Clean , comfortable with polite helpful staff.
Breakfast was great and the basic bar facilities did the job
Our 2nd visit here and would definitely use again.
I imagine it could get noisy at times with movement of neighbours above .
Staffs are friendly, big room, clean and it is in town and convenient for shopping, play area, restraurants and closer to motorway.
Stayed here overnight in order to visit the Black Country Museum. We were pleasantly surprised with the overall experience. We have stayed at many Premier Inn hotels and this is the best one so far, in our opinion. Our room was well appointed and immaculate. Breakfast was good and well organised. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Would recommend a visit.
They allow a person to book into the hotel and then refuse them alcohol because they didn't have there I.D on them we booked x3 rooms as we went to the area for a wedding most of the staff were friendly apart from the one that was on the desk on the night time (Dan) was his name he asked me for I.D and I am 45 years old (should of taken it as a compliment) but my son and daughter-in-law was also challenged for I.D the following morning we had breakfast and my wife was sick right after it we gathered our belongings from the room and left. There are no charging points for your car they said there was some behind the hotel but they were not working had to travel into the town to find somewhere to charge the car to return home. We could only book x1 early booking in so all of us had to get ready in the same room.
New and cleann BUT in room no useable wifi, no mobile signal on any of 3 networks, no desk, can't open windows, no staff to be seen, a very frustrating ,and expensive vistsi not to be repeated
Stayed here as we had a wedding in town. Room was lovely (premier plus) with a view of the castle. Quiet, black out curtains worked a treat! Staff were all lovely and helpful. Would stay again.
Was made to feel welcome by Steve as soon as I stepped in the building, all the way until I checked out. All the staff were amazing and tended to everyone's needs asap, and with the upmost efficency. Emma and Bruce on breakfast were so kind and friendly, absolutely made my stay 100%. Everywhere was spotless so housekeepers had done a fantastic job. Great value for money and absolutely great location for tourist attractions. 10/10 will love to come again!
Lovely clean hotel, staff are very polite and attentive. Went the extra mile leaving drinks and biscuits in the room for the children, much appreciated. Only downside is gets v busy at breakfast and WiFi often not great. Would definitely recommend.
What little staff on site was very polite and friendly.
Bed very comfortable as always.
Both mornings cooked breakfast was a disappointment.
From start to finish we had a great stay. The self check-in screens are good, but seems odd to have it in front of the desk, where you would usually check in and there’s someone sitting there. They could also remind you to pop your reg in as you’re caught off guard by them asking to use the self check-in. I remembered as I left and hopefully, I will be fine. Some information on the restaurant would also be really helpful on the confirmation email. The room itself was good, it was a nice comfy bed and the room was nice and clean. It wasn’t a great sleep, but this was down to guests above, rather than anything the hotel could control. It was intermittent, so every time I thought about saying something, the noise stopped. The Breakfast was lovely, no complaints here at all! Friendly goodbye, would definitely stay again. Great proximity to the Zoo and Black Country Museum.
