Premier Inn Bridgend Central

There was a foul smell coming from the bathroom due to a broken shower waste trap of which they were aware of. There were no other rooms available so receptionist used spray to mask the smell. Unfortunately the smell had returned by the morning and we had to vacate the room early. Very disappointed as it ruined our stay.

Honestly, the nicest premier inn i stayed in (in my opinion). We arrived quite late after a concert in Cardiff, this hotel was on our way home so very convenient. It had great free parking, the staff member on check in was very pleasant & welcoming. The room was very clean and the best part was….it had sockets by the bed!! Me and my partner are forever sharing a plug by the TV when we stay away but this one was fab! Had a fan, hairdryer, very nice shower! Couldn’t of picked a better hotel.

10/10. Staff were so accommodating. We booked a twin room but on arrival we discovered that only one bed had been made up. We made the staff at reception aware, we were going out for food at the time so they made the bed up while we were out with no fuss made. We had a lovely night sleep. The staff at breakfast were faultless - so kind and helpful. We will definitely stay again.

Nice friendly staff, very comfortable bed, nice bathroom. Everything was great.
Not sure if the waterfall shower was working or not (might have been me knowing how to turn it on), but it was fine with just the handheld shower.

We recently visited the restaurant connected to the Premier Inn in Bridgend next to the McArthur Glen designer outlet .
We were two families sharing some quality time together . My three young Grandson's made up our family gathering , so we asked if we could bring across another table to help with the seating . This was sorted out immediately and nothing was too much trouble .
The lady who helped us with taking our order was so polite , cheerful and helpful , I believe she was called Sharon . Thank you Sharon for making us feel very welcome .
Another two ladies who I believe were called Lynda and Sarah helped to make our visit just perfect .
My Grandson's were given a couple of little stretchy toys and a lollipop each and afterwards a little treat of a sachet of Nutella . This was a lovely little gesture and totally unexpected !
Everyone enjoyed delicious food and felt really looked after by all the staff .
Thank you to all the team who helped to make our Family Breakfast a brilliant experience !

Loved the attention given to provide a quiet room. Good air conditioning to get the temperature right with clear easy instructions. I slept like a log. Excellent breakfast service. Two wonderful members of staff, Sharon and Helene couldn’t have been kinder and more helpful. Well done Premier Inn. High standard as always.

Hotel is lovely and clean
Breakfast was delicious and made to order.
Only downside was the fan as it seemed like we either had a faulty one or it was just one power savings as hardly give us any cool air. Parking was a bit of a nightmare as all spaces taken up outside the hotel but managed to get the mini bus in across of it.

Miller and Carter is next to it which was nice to go for drinks but couldn't get in as too many of us

The room was very clean and there was sufficient parking even though we got there after midnight for check-in. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We are a vegan family and like the fact that they provide full cooked breakfast options for us so we don't feel that we have to miss out or make do.

My friend and I were going to see the Stereophonics in Cardiff
So we booked here and caught the train to Cardiff,
We had asked for an early check in which was fab as it allowed us to have a breather before venturing out again. We had a fab welcome from the lady on reception sorry I didn’t get her name but she had fab bright pink nails,she has booked us into a downstairs room which was heaven as it was nice and cool down there it was 37degrees outside.

We had a fab sleep and went up for breakfast, I opted for the veggie breakfast and it was delicious,the bacon well it’s called”it’s not bacon” was yummy it tasted like bacon but its appearance was nothing like bacon.

The poached eggs were to die for and the chef even came out to have a chat with us.I told her the breakfast was great and that I enjoyed the “it’s not bacon” she was delighted to think I had taken the time to say how nice it was. Would definitely stay here again,great value for money and central to Cardiff,Swansea and a great little outlet for shopping next door along side a big Sainsbury’s.

We were going to see sterephonics on friday 11th july. Stayed at this premier inn for the 1st time. Wow what a welcome we had. The manager sarah is an absolute credit to you, and Helena that was on reception. These ladies were wonderful. Thank you both for such a lovely stay. Hope to see you again very soon.

Lovely clean room, however the toilets in both of the rooms were dirty. One hadnt been flushed the other had skidders. There was no toilet brush to clean it either. They were left by the previous person. Rooms have been renovated since my last visit and were nice. No air conditioning so a little warm. There was a fan which helped a little. Overall not bad but iron out the little niggles. Receptionist was lovely when we arrived. There was icy cold water on the reception desk which was a nice touch and welcome as it was super hot. I heard a dog barking a few times. House are not they close so not sure where it was coming from..overall a nice stay with little niggles. Would definitely use again though

Only went to have breakfast at the hotel on our way to West Wales. What a massive disappointment! We arrived at about 9:30am and ordered our food pretty quickly. We then waited eagerly for it to arrive. It took 40 minutes which was abysmal service.
When I asked why it had taken so long, I was told that hotel guests who arrived in the restaurant after my husband and I were served before us due to hotel policy of serving the hotel guests BEFORE any non-residential guests.
This policy is unfair and needs to be changed. 'Restaurant apartheid' is the term that my husband used for the poor service that we received today!

Visited for friends birthday hotel was spotless staff so friendly,breakfast was amazing and hot took ur cooked breakfast order not like the normal help yourself buffet style,the manager Sarah was very friendly and helpful so we're all the staff we come across,will definitely be back.

Lovely friendly polite staff . Accessible hotel with plenty of parking. Clean and comfortable room with fresh bedding and towels. Shower hot and easy to use. Food cooked fresh and served hot with plenty of choice. Easy access to motorway. All in all a great experience.

Great clean room, lovely bathroom, quiet hotel, fantastic staff. On top of that your handy for shops, restaurants, Motorway and public transport (especially to. Cardiff). Situated next to Miller & Carter and beside McArthur Glen Shopping village there’s enough to keep you entertained on site. Next to bus stop for direct travel to Cardiff if you don’t want to drive

The breakfast staff was amazing especially Sharon she couldn’t do enough for us out standing. We had a wonderful time thank you all.would definitely be coming back soon.also the rest of the staff were so helpful and room was spotless overall very pleased.
