Premier Inn Tamworth South

We received a warm welcome from the staff, notably manager and duty receptionist. . The room was excellent…clean and comfortable benefiting from the recent refurbishment. Breakfast was good, with friendly efficient service.

Amazing service from both Sophie and Chris during my stay always happy to help and serve, even after multiple days they were already remembering my (lack of) allergy preferences, room number and preferred drink

Super polite even when things went wrong, and worked quickly to resolve the problems.

I have just recently stayed at the premier inn hotel and I have found the service and care provided to be brilliant by the duty manager Sophie, she was very polite and helpful with my stay and always with a smile.

Came into the restaurant for a meal whilst I was in the area a couple nights ago, Sophie was nice and very attentive. I have stayed in the premier inn in the past and always thought it is a lovely place to stay very friendly atmosphere. Looking forward to coming in the future.

Excellent hotel, spotlessly clean, room was well presented and the bathroom was immaculate.
Decent location for travels both North and South

The hotel itself wasn't too bad. It was clean and comfy. The restaurant, however was absolutely dredful. It was dirty, and the food was disgusting. I had a feeling that it wasn't going to be good, so I thought I'd be safe with a chicken burger. The chicken was over deep fried, and then micro waved to be re heated.I only leave bad reveiews, to help someone else not make the same mistake as myself.

Short-staffed — the restaurant opened late because only one member of staff turned up. I was overcharged for two beers during Happy Hour (5–7 pm) but received a refund after going back to the bar. The toilets were disgusting, with no toilet paper, and the same issue was still there the next morning at breakfast — clearly no cleaning had been done. Would not recommend this place at all!

Lots of issues with disabled room which were unsolved.
Restaurant very slow.
Generally low numbers of staff seving in restaurant, even had chef take our breakfast order.

Do not stay here. Room was freezing cold, shower was freezing cold, WiFi was terrible, had to pay for upgrade just get any signal (feels dekiberate). Looks very tired from the outside. Room was OK, but air con/heating didn't work - even turned it up to 26 degrees and was still sat in a jacket. Very poor....Premier inn have really fallen from grace. Out of the last 7 Premier Inns I've stayed in, only 1 had no problems whilst I was there

Staff were all so super friendly and helpful, room was really spacious and immaculate. Quiet location and a really good nights sleep.
Special mention to Sophie for the great customer service at breakfast, she really set me up in a great mood for the day.
Simon the chef went the extra mile to make sure my breakfast was satisfactory by coming out to check. Customer service how it should be. Thanks guys!

Poor customer service at check-in, issue trying to get extra pillows and the breakfast service was shambolic. Only positive was the comfy bed, convenient location and Robyn who was the member of staff that served us at breakfast time. She was lovely and was clearly doing the job of multiple people.

Had lovely stay at Tamworth and the Keri behind the desk was brilliant, can't wait to come back again. Couldn't fault anything during our my stay.

Hotel itself I have no complaints with its a typical premise inn you get what you pay for however the review itself is for the abysmal pub they run off of it. The food came out and looked and tasted like a ready meal had just been transferred to a bowl and garnished, you could tell it had been microwaved as it had the typical microwave burn marks on the pasta and sauce. Portion sizes are really small considering the price food is aweful would not recommend to anyone. On the other hand the staff in front of house are really friendly and a credit to the company Thankyou.

What a lovely hotel stay! We had a lovely room that was very comfortable and clean. Would like to say a shout out to the lovely Sienna who was very welcoming and answered all of our questions correctly. Will definitely stay here again.

I come here for 2 nights and i will definitely be coming back. I come here with my kids as we were heading to Drayton manor and Sienna on reception made our stay even better. Recommend this place.

My stay here was so relaxing and sienna made our restaurant experience perfect. She made sure we had a great meal and we will definitely come back after such a great experience! It was clean, great service from sienna and the food was delicious.
