Everything was excellent during my stay. Room was very clean and tidy. Staff were excellent and very accommodating. Facilities were as expected. Range of snacks in the foyer from a vending machine although Beefeater was next door.
Disgraceful condition of room. Hairs in bed and on pillow. Condition of walls awful. Mirror falling apart. Tv didn't work. Mold around bathtub. Awful place. Will not use Premier Inn again. c. £130 per night!!
I'm giving this average - we have stayed in some nice P Inns but this one is really in need of a refresh. It is very well situated that was our main reason for staying just off the M5 and easy to find. A slow check in, difficulty finding our booking for some reason ! The room was adequate but sorely needs decorating, I would have taken photos but too tired after a long journey suffice to say many scrapes and gashes on walls and paint work and bad repair finishes in bathroom. Table lampshade dented in places. Tiny tv compared to other inns we have stayed in. Refreshments sorely lacking and walked numerous corridors to get supply. Carpets dirty and paintwork scuffed. Air con always baffles us too hot / too cold ! Long black hairs left in bath and toilet cleaner splashed on back of toilet and wall surfaces - looked as if the cleaner left in a hurry !! Breakfast plentiful however the cleanliness on the floor surfaces and serving areas left much to be desired. Bins over flowing with rubbish and only 8.30 in the morning. Huge milk jug far too heavy for partner to use with arthritic hands. Crockery from quests was cleaned away by staff however the tables were not wiped down, probably the reason why our table was so sticky !! Carpets really need attention rips in some, wonderful trip hazards and tears in leatherette seats is never an attractive look ! This might sound a bit of a damning review but P inn needs to buck up its ideas in some of their places and spend some money !! Would we stay again ? Probably purely for it's location !
When I arrived at the Premier Inn reception was busy with the staff chatting away to each other. I checked in and had asked for a ground floor room as I'm disabled and use a stick. I was asked when I'd phoned and booked the ground floor if I would like a room with a walk in shower and I'd said yes. Maybe that's why I was given a room so far away, at the very end of the building. I also had to enquire later about the restaurant as it was obvious where it was. The room was warm and comfortable and clean and the sound proofing was good.
I think maybe I'd been spoilt by staying the previous Sunday at the Premier Inn in Walsall which was exceptional with both my room location, receptionist and restaurant servers.
I found out that the restaurant wasn't open for meals until 5.30pm so booked a table for that time. I was served by a lovely Canadian lady who was so kind and helpful.
I had a good restful night although there was a problem with the TV which I reported on leaving. I wouldn't stay here again.
Had a one night stay here. The hotel is fine, but it's clearly in need of modernisation. The rooms are looking tired, no sockets by the bed etc. The attached restaurant is also showing its age a bit, and staff are at times overworked trying to keep up with breakfast.
The hotel is ok and we would stay again, but it's clearly overdue a bit of investment.
Very easy location close to M5 motorway. Ample parking. Quick and easy check in. Rooms clean enough with the basic facilities tea, coffee etc. Restaurant very dated and needs TLC sooner rather than later. Food portions and quality of food pretty good.
Breakfast buffet has a decent choice but very limited with kids choices of drinks etc. Not sure reception area needs a sweet vending machine.
Filthy place! Reception area and restaurant are unbelievably dirty and worn - I used a napkin to operate the coffee machine, which looks like it hadn’t been cleaned for months!
Cold breakfast on cold plates, sticky tables - a horrible experience!!
Nowhere near what we have come to expect from Premier Inn, which I always recommend to people - how is this one allowed to operate like this??
The room was fine - but too hot even with the windows open (no air con)
Having said all of that, the staff were all very friendly but seemed oblivious to the dirty, worn out environment they were working in. One staff member was kind enough to make my son a hot breakfast to order (wish I’d asked!)
Lovely time had good food nice atmosphere prices were average and friendly staff. Thanks to Teresa for her friendly attitude.
Just returned from an overnight stay. Reception staff very professional. Room was very clean. Had the meal deal for tea and breakfast which was good value. Staff in restaurant were lovely. Will be returning again.
We are staying at the Worcester premier inn m5 junction 6 and we went to there restaurant tonight our server was Chloe E and she was very polite and helpful and made us feel welcome as we are on holiday .pleasure to be served by her.
First and last visit. My room smelt of drains but was otherwise clean. Bed comfortable. Stairs to first floor need some TLC. Not a great impression. Car park is more than adequate but a ‘litter pick’ wouldn’t go amiss.
we were extremely disappointed with the lack of welcome on Sunday 28th September evening by the receptionist (male) not wearing a name badge
this totally opposite to the welcomes we have received in all the other premier inns we have visited over the years
we had to wait 15 minutes for him to appear and he seemed more anxious to return to the restaurant which was really quiet so he was not needed
BUT would like to compliment Chloe the server in the restaurant for her friendly and welcoming smile both in the evening and at breakfast time and her efficiency despite her being the only server at breakfast
Average. Was tricky to find late at night as the signage is poor, and creaky floorboards meant we could hear every move made upstairs, however, it was a comfortable room.
Hotel ok a bit over priced
Beef eater seen better days, limited staff manager had to be chef , food ok but not amazing. Not the cleanest of places
First time visiting this hotel and will definitely be out last. Checked in with a lovely young lady at reception with no issues at all.
However when it came to dinner and entering the hotel restaurant with our service dog we were refused entry by the duty manager despite my partners disability and her service dog carrying all necessary documents with us. We were told to eat outside in the pub garden despite it being 7pm at night/dark and cold which is absolutely ridiculous.
This guy shouldn't be a manager as hasn't a clue regarding the law when it comes to disabilities and the equality act 2010 and the rights disabled people have, hence why this law is in place for this reason.
Any business provider CANNOT legally refuse entry to any public place/restaurant carrying a service dog because this is called discrimination/treating people differently due to their disabilities, which is completely against the law.
I will be speaking to the area manager and customer relations on Monday morning to get this complaint investigated further.
My advice is if you have any disability whatsoever, don't stay here, spend your money somewhere else and certainly don't try to bother eating in the restaurant as you will be refused entry.
Rant over.
Have to pay extra £5 for slow WiFi. Free WiFi on offer is pathetic, paid WiFi is still not great. No mobile phone reception here, so no option but to pay. Everything else was ok.
We recently visited for a weekend trip.
Everything was just right , the room was very comfortable, the food was lovely and all the staff were very welcoming and helpful
Nothing was too much trouble
We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely be re-visiting shortly
Staff are polite, friendly and on hand
Restaurant service was quick and food was nice
Room was ok but limited sleep due to the heat and no air con.
Parking not included in rate
Hotel looking tatty and in need of an upgrade. Dirty chairs and just grubby in general.
This is a massive hotel. The lobby is tiny with staff of one behind glass. There was no staff available at checkout so nobody to tell that our bathroom sink didn’t drain. The hotel is very bare bones but the rooms are clean although the lobby carpet is not.
Typical Premier Inn . However , our room was on the 1st floor . We checked in at approx 20.30 hrs ( on a rare sunny day) our room was so hot , Still 27.7°C at 1am . So we checked out and drove home through the night .
