Check in was ok, room as expected room a bit chilly. Bit annoying having to pay for parking small car park near to entrance full, had to park a fair distance in other part of car park. Not good as it was raining and wooden gangways to walk on.
The restaurant was the biggest downfall as we had to leave the hotel and walk the before mentioned gangway. A nuisance when raining.
Only about 3 other customers. Was asked if we had booked which we hadn't but was shown to our seats. I had the fish and chips the batter was overcooked as was the French fry chips. Not chips at all the mushy peas were not hot. Very disappointed. I must say tge lady server was wonderful she was the only one working that evening
Next morning we thought we would chance breakfast. We were waiting by the sign to be seated a lady came over and asked had we booked we said no. She said can we come back later, there were only two tables occupied. We said not really. She tgen said she was new and couldn't take payments. So had to go back out in the rain to reception they asked did she say you can have breakfast. Back to restaurant got a seat she asked what we wanted she didn't give us a menu to choose from. We went to get the continental while we waited for the cooked breakfast but to our astonishment the breakfast arrived basically straight away, so this was not cooked to order as the bacon was like cardboard and none of the food very hot. By time we left there was a line of of over 12 to 15 people waiting to be seated.
I wouldn't stay here again.
Park hall hotel and spa is fantastic.
We arrived late night with a large amount of audio visual equipment and LEON was super helpful in helping us transport it all to our room. Thank you for going the extra mile!!
Standard facilities as expected in a premier inn.
Breakfast at the adjacent Bluebrick restaurant which was rather underwhelming, but the absolute highlight of the day was Peps, staff at the Bluebrick. She was working very hard and efficiently, but did it with such a lovely and friendly attitude, singing and smiling as she worked, treating everyone with such respect and kindness, made everyone feel welcome even when it was quite busy. She was an absolute delight and made my day!
We booked this hotel because it was close to the train station and very reasonably priced. Check in was quick and easy. The room was large and clean lovely comfortable bed and good shower will definitely stay here again.
This Wolverhampton Premier Inn is lovely! Spotlessly clean, comfortable and just a 5 minute walk from the railway station. I recommend it.
Our room was on the ground floor. A comfortable bed, usb charging points by the bed, two chairs and a table, a well appointed bathroom and good use of hanging space/hospitality tray area. I can't comment on the WiFi nor the carpark as I didn't use them.
Breakfast was delicious and I recommend it. There is a lovely breakfast person on duty. They are greeting guests, coming to take your cooked breakfast order and then delivering breakfasts. I can imagine that at busy times, and at busy times of year that this means that breakfast can be a slow meal.
I'd strongly suggest that if you are in a rush then you go continental. You can just help yourself, lots of choice, you'll have a good meal. At your speed. In your time. You are fully in control of your timings.
Niggles?
Yeah - even with a 5 star rating and here they are:
#When arriving by foot, it isn't at all clear where reception is - it was dark when we arrived and we ended up walking all the way around the hotel before we stumbled across the main entrance;
#There is no decaff coffee in reception/restaurant/hospitality tray;
#Hot drinks machine in the restaurant is SLOW.
Apart from these, this Premier Inn is lovely and we can't wait to come back!
Was central to train and bus services, walking distance to town centre.
Room was clean and bed comfortable.
Location was quite
Friendly staff, great clean room with a very comfortable bed.
This hotel is perfectly situated for all amenities.
Parking is not free.
Hotel lovely but spoilt by the pub/restaurant no longer fully open. Breakfast service needed more staff for the amount of guests
We booked a room today and went to the reception. The receptionist Diljit and another lady behaved in a judgmental way. They looked at us, looked at each other and started laughing for no reason. This made us feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. we stayed for about an hour and then decided to leave she also asked us to write down our nationality on a piece of paper and we are not sure why this was necessary. Overall, it was not a good experience
Really disgusting place.
The toilet was completely blocked and wouldn't flush. The reception staff couldn't have been more indifferent if they tried.
Dirty cutlery in the hospitality tray, still showing signs of previous use.
By far the worst Premier Inn I've ever stayed at, and I've been to my fair share.
Overcharged to the price that I was given when I booked the room back in February 2025, The reduced car parking rate, as promised was not honored too. Poor service.
Stayed overnight after travelling from Cambridge to watch Wolves play. Very convenient location with plenty of parking available. Nice quiet room which was spotlessly clean. Tea and coffee provided with a kettle to use. The WiFi was extremely good in my room. Delicious breakfast served by a friendly waitress. Welcoming friendly staff. Will definitely stay here again next time I’m in Wolverhampton.
It's a lovely new Premier Inn, clean and cosy. Ate in the restaurant and was looked after by Tracy who, although very busy, managed to be efficient, pay attention to individual customers and serve us all in good time.
Nice hotel but accessible rooms need to be maintained not a great experience would not feel safe if was alone.
The team are great and offer a great service but if you need WiFi forget it it’s non existent even when you pay for it
The breakfast was great although not great you have to walk across to restaurant so you get soaked if raining
The bluebrick premier inn was welcomed by Tracey the duty Manager she was outstanding and very warm and welcoming definitelywill be returning and also thank you to dalpreet 😀
General -
Hotel rooms were clean and tidy.
Car Park -
I arrived at 1700 and car park wasn't too bad with lots of spaces remaining.
Hotel Entrance -
Its not very clear where the hotel entrance is. Lights on the walkway were out and ther is no clear signage.
Phone and Wifi -
My EE signal was poor so I started off with the complementary WiFi and then spent £5 for ultimate WiFi, which was equally as bad. I tried to work out how to get my money back but gave up. Just don't bother.
Food -
Food is served in The Bluebrick restaurant adjacent to the hotel. It wasn't great and to be honest I was a bit shocked when I was asked to give feedback after such a poor experience. I went for dinner and the service was dire. There wasn't any atmosphere and at one point ther was 5 of us on our own tables sitting in silence. There is no music other than a TV turned up very loud in the bar area. I was skipped several times by the waiting staff and my request for the starter to be brought at the same time as the main was ignored.
The food itself once it arrived was good. Not bad, not amazing. Just watch the service.
This is a basic hotel there is tea and coffee and cattle in the room The rooms are clean, reasonable size , location is good if u need the city / campus nearby the people at the nearby restaurant where breakfast is served are nice . Breakfast is ok. No lounge or common area . Leon at the reception was particularly helpful and kind to us despite the very late hour of our arrival .
Excellent experience, staff were helpful and friendly on each occasion. Very good customer service from Tracey, Dalpreet and Gaby. Food was delicious and served quickly. Can happily recommend a visit.
I stayed here for a week while attending the university. The room was clean, tidy, and appears to have been updated recently. The beds were very comfortable and spotless, which made for a good night’s sleep.
Unfortunately, the free Wi-Fi was practically non-existent. every time you lock your device it logs you out. There was a paid option at £5 per day but I did not have hope. Additionally, there was no mobile data signal or phone service either.
Breakfast was average. At times it wasn’t hot (warm ish), or the wrong items were brought out. Unlike a standard Premier Inn where you help yourself, here you must order what you want and it’s brought to your table. This setup makes the “unlimited” breakfast feel somewhat limited, as staff don’t usually check back to offer more and just clear the plate.
Parking is £8 for 24h from time of checkin.
DO NOT BOTHER WITH THE EVENING MEAL
The biggest disappointment was the restaurant in the evening. Service was very slow, and several menu items were unavailable. On arrival at reception we said there was 8 of us wanting to eat to be told to check if they can serve us as it’s a large group. Our group of eight were the only diners there upon arrival, some meals arrived after 5 minutes, others after 40. Throughout this time other diners arrived and were served food before all of ours were brought out. On another visit, the restaurant was half full with four staff on duty, yet no one seemed to know what was happening or to be in any rush. We also weren’t informed about a 45-minute wait for food until we overheard staff discussing it where the manager told them not to seat anymore people.
When requesting a gluten-free menu, we were given a red folder listing allergens for each dish rather than a proper menu. It would be much more helpful to have a dedicated gluten-free or allergy-specific menu.
There are, however, plenty of good-quality restaurants just a 10-minute walk into the city that offer far better food and service.
Just checked in @ Wolverhampton Prem, new item on the menu Chicken Tikka Skewer and rolled with the curry theme and had a Katsu Curry for main…..wow!! Both full of flavour, perfectly cooked so if you over this way, definitely worth ordering, very tasty. Big shout to the Chefs Tom and Geeta, don’t know which of you guys made it, but it was banging 👍
