Stayed over night for an event at the grand theatre. Not a far walk in the city centre 10 mins max
Room was spotless and looked like it had recently been done out. Best mattress I’ve ever slept on so comfy
Most staff were friendly but one in the restaurant had a chip on shoulder asked for a straw and she got another member of staff to fetch me one whilst she stood there at the till. Food was good both in evening and for breakfast
On arrival the staff seemed ok, not at all interested or welcoming but neutral however each time we walked passed them they were constantly whispering and seemingly uninterested in anyone but themselves. The room was standard for a Premier Inn (we stay all over the country most weeks for sports) so no complaints there. The biggest disappointment was breakfast and in particular the waiting staff that acted very bizarrely. Before acknowledging our presence she decided to"finger" all of the pastries pushing them around into a certain order. She then came over to us and we told her room etc and allergies response to which she sniggered and then asked the same questions again. We sat where told roughly and got it own menus. Then came the really bizarre behaviour. As we say looking at the menu there was music playing. She proceeded to sing very loudly to each song while cleaning tables and doing her own thing. Half of the juices had nothing in them, no milk for cereals and fingered pastries were our starter, plus the most awful concert??? We finally ordered breakfast with another snigger, are and left. Basically the hotel and food is good, however whoever recruits the staff needs firing. Clearly as a City Centre hotel they just don't care about making you feel welcome. My family and I felt uncomfortable from minute 1 until we left due to all the staff. SO disappointing.....
A few years since we stayed here, still an excellent location and the breakfast is worth the price, had a good time with friends and a great location for the city centre.
Perfect location, close to the University we were visiting and good local amenities. Car park was easily accessible. Both the outside and the inside of the hotel were clean and well presented. The hotel staff and restaurant staff were all very welcoming and accommodating. The rooms were spacious, clean and well looked after. It had everything we needed. Good value for money and quiet too.
Check in was ok, room as expected room a bit chilly. Bit annoying having to pay for parking small car park near to entrance full, had to park a fair distance in other part of car park. Not good as it was raining and wooden gangways to walk on.
The restaurant was the biggest downfall as we had to leave the hotel and walk the before mentioned gangway. A nuisance when raining.
Only about 3 other customers. Was asked if we had booked which we hadn't but was shown to our seats. I had the fish and chips the batter was overcooked as was the French fry chips. Not chips at all the mushy peas were not hot. Very disappointed. I must say tge lady server was wonderful she was the only one working that evening
Next morning we thought we would chance breakfast. We were waiting by the sign to be seated a lady came over and asked had we booked we said no. She said can we come back later, there were only two tables occupied. We said not really. She tgen said she was new and couldn't take payments. So had to go back out in the rain to reception they asked did she say you can have breakfast. Back to restaurant got a seat she asked what we wanted she didn't give us a menu to choose from. We went to get the continental while we waited for the cooked breakfast but to our astonishment the breakfast arrived basically straight away, so this was not cooked to order as the bacon was like cardboard and none of the food very hot. By time we left there was a line of of over 12 to 15 people waiting to be seated.
I wouldn't stay here again.
Park hall hotel and spa is fantastic.
We arrived late night with a large amount of audio visual equipment and LEON was super helpful in helping us transport it all to our room. Thank you for going the extra mile!!
Standard facilities as expected in a premier inn.
Breakfast at the adjacent Bluebrick restaurant which was rather underwhelming, but the absolute highlight of the day was Peps, staff at the Bluebrick. She was working very hard and efficiently, but did it with such a lovely and friendly attitude, singing and smiling as she worked, treating everyone with such respect and kindness, made everyone feel welcome even when it was quite busy. She was an absolute delight and made my day!
We booked this hotel because it was close to the train station and very reasonably priced. Check in was quick and easy. The room was large and clean lovely comfortable bed and good shower will definitely stay here again.
This Wolverhampton Premier Inn is lovely! Spotlessly clean, comfortable and just a 5 minute walk from the railway station. I recommend it.
Our room was on the ground floor. A comfortable bed, usb charging points by the bed, two chairs and a table, a well appointed bathroom and good use of hanging space/hospitality tray area. I can't comment on the WiFi nor the carpark as I didn't use them.
Breakfast was delicious and I recommend it. There is a lovely breakfast person on duty. They are greeting guests, coming to take your cooked breakfast order and then delivering breakfasts. I can imagine that at busy times, and at busy times of year that this means that breakfast can be a slow meal.
I'd strongly suggest that if you are in a rush then you go continental. You can just help yourself, lots of choice, you'll have a good meal. At your speed. In your time. You are fully in control of your timings.
Niggles?
Yeah - even with a 5 star rating and here they are:
#When arriving by foot, it isn't at all clear where reception is - it was dark when we arrived and we ended up walking all the way around the hotel before we stumbled across the main entrance;
#There is no decaff coffee in reception/restaurant/hospitality tray;
#Hot drinks machine in the restaurant is SLOW.
Apart from these, this Premier Inn is lovely and we can't wait to come back!
Was central to train and bus services, walking distance to town centre.
Room was clean and bed comfortable.
Location was quite
Friendly staff, great clean room with a very comfortable bed.
This hotel is perfectly situated for all amenities.
Parking is not free.
Hotel lovely but spoilt by the pub/restaurant no longer fully open. Breakfast service needed more staff for the amount of guests
We booked a room today and went to the reception. The receptionist Diljit and another lady behaved in a judgmental way. They looked at us, looked at each other and started laughing for no reason. This made us feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. we stayed for about an hour and then decided to leave she also asked us to write down our nationality on a piece of paper and we are not sure why this was necessary. Overall, it was not a good experience
Really disgusting place.
The toilet was completely blocked and wouldn't flush. The reception staff couldn't have been more indifferent if they tried.
Dirty cutlery in the hospitality tray, still showing signs of previous use.
By far the worst Premier Inn I've ever stayed at, and I've been to my fair share.
Overcharged to the price that I was given when I booked the room back in February 2025, The reduced car parking rate, as promised was not honored too. Poor service.
Stayed overnight after travelling from Cambridge to watch Wolves play. Very convenient location with plenty of parking available. Nice quiet room which was spotlessly clean. Tea and coffee provided with a kettle to use. The WiFi was extremely good in my room. Delicious breakfast served by a friendly waitress. Welcoming friendly staff. Will definitely stay here again next time I’m in Wolverhampton.
It's a lovely new Premier Inn, clean and cosy. Ate in the restaurant and was looked after by Tracy who, although very busy, managed to be efficient, pay attention to individual customers and serve us all in good time.
Nice hotel but accessible rooms need to be maintained not a great experience would not feel safe if was alone.
The team are great and offer a great service but if you need WiFi forget it it’s non existent even when you pay for it
The breakfast was great although not great you have to walk across to restaurant so you get soaked if raining
The bluebrick premier inn was welcomed by Tracey the duty Manager she was outstanding and very warm and welcoming definitelywill be returning and also thank you to dalpreet 😀
General -
Hotel rooms were clean and tidy.
Car Park -
I arrived at 1700 and car park wasn't too bad with lots of spaces remaining.
Hotel Entrance -
Its not very clear where the hotel entrance is. Lights on the walkway were out and ther is no clear signage.
Phone and Wifi -
My EE signal was poor so I started off with the complementary WiFi and then spent £5 for ultimate WiFi, which was equally as bad. I tried to work out how to get my money back but gave up. Just don't bother.
Food -
Food is served in The Bluebrick restaurant adjacent to the hotel. It wasn't great and to be honest I was a bit shocked when I was asked to give feedback after such a poor experience. I went for dinner and the service was dire. There wasn't any atmosphere and at one point ther was 5 of us on our own tables sitting in silence. There is no music other than a TV turned up very loud in the bar area. I was skipped several times by the waiting staff and my request for the starter to be brought at the same time as the main was ignored.
The food itself once it arrived was good. Not bad, not amazing. Just watch the service.
