Good place to stay
Pros:

Daeschwarn was fantastic. Had a few more rowdy people before us but kept them quiet and his service was brilliant. Would recommend staying again, rooms were tidy and just what you’d need

Feel let down!
Pros:

I visit West Brom frequently and do pick this hotel as it is close to work and has EV charging points (only 4) under POD POINT App.

My saty over two nights been the worst so far!

1. No responsibility from premier inn for the parking EVs. This solely belongs to the adjacent pub next door. Chances of asking the driver to park else where..... Well, I'll leave it to your imagination as I see more and more NON EV cars parking in the designated EV points.

2. Be warned, if the restaurant is busy when staying here... You are not the priority!!! Waited so far for around 35 mins (still waiting!) for my desert!

Unfortunately, if this service continues, I'll be looking elsewhere to stay in the future.

Excellent Hotel Lovely Staff
Pros:

After a long drive from South Wales and a wonky satnav trip into the town center, I eventually found this hotel. The lady on reception was lovely and welcoming and assisted me with everything I needed whilst checking in. My room was lovely and clean and there was enough tea, coffee and everything else I needed for my stay. The bathroom was lovely and clean also with a very good shower and fluffy towels.

I ventured down for my evening meal and the staff in the restaurant couldn't have been more helpful and polite and nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was lovey but as I was tired I went back up to my room for that much needed shower and to rest up in bed before a day at my conference, As an added bonus I was treated to several firework shows for most of the evening which I enjoyed.

My bed was very comfortable and i slept well waking up rested for a full day at work. Check out was very simple and I would be happy to return here if I need to come to Birmingham again.

Room OK, but issued parking charge despite following directions for checking in the car
Pros:

Hotel was clean, but there was no heating control in the room. Asked reception how we increased the temperature and they said that they would deal with it, but nothing happened.
Two weeks after the stay we received a £100 parking charge for leaving our car in the car park, despite having checked the car into the booking in system in the foyer on arrival. Emailed Premier Inn to try and clear the matter up, as they don't display a phone number, and had no response. Very poor service.

Shout out Pat
Pros:

Had a lovely stay at this hotel with my girlfriend. The food was excellent the room and bathroom were spotless and the bed was very comfortable, making for a relaxing night. The staff were extremely helpful and always willing to go the extra mile. A special mention to the receptionist, Pat we had a good joke and laugh together, which made us feel instantly welcome. That positive energy at the front desk really set the tone for the whole stay. We left very satisfied and would happily return.

Very poor
Pros:

The young guy on the front desk took 4 hours to check us in. His a very rude man! Door lock was broken then only to be told pick the babies cot ourselves and move it to the 3rd . No managers on site. People were really annoyed of the service he was giving as he was very slow and couldn’t be asked!

Good, but could be Great with some TLC.
Pros:

Stayed here for 3rd year in a row for an annual conference. Location is perfect, just across the road from New Square shopping area with a Tesco extra and all the shops and restaurants you need to make your stay convenient.

Onsite restaurant is excellent, staff are more than happy to help and the hotel has plenty of free parking for guests.

Rooms are of good size and of course the famous Premier Inn beds do not disappoint. The only thing that I will say is that the rooms are starting to look a little tired with scuffs on the walls, cracks in the ceiling, chips in the bath and the carpets are starting to looking worn. Nothing major, but these things just spoil the hotel vibe a little.

Overall, the positives far outweigh the negatives and I've had another pleasant stay.

Kids should not be allowed to run around the hotel like a playground!!!
Pros:

As I work all over the UK it is important where I can to get as much rest as possible before I deliver training courses at our centres and company premises, what I do NOT expect are kids running around corridors thinking they are the only ones in the hotels and parents not taking full responsibility.
Apart from safety aspect but also a safeguarding aspect children should not be left unattended.
It’s bad enough some staff stating they can’t do anything, yet our company spends hundreds of thousands of pounds in this group for all of our staff.
I have no choice as I do not want to travel 3+ hours before doing a full 8 hour day teaching and assessing, this is why I travel the day before then I’m fully refreshed for the day.
Please Premier Inn, amend your policies to deal with this issue. It’s a hotel not a school club, people need to rest no matter the time day or night!

Premier Inn experience West Bromwich
Pros:

My Sister and I went to this hotel the night after we attended an awesome concert.

Before we went we had a meal in the Restaurant. We both had the steak, with the peppercorn sauce, skin on fries, and a few cocktails. Layla, the Server was amazing, nothing was too much for her…Thanks Layla 😁

Chef Paul, you can cook. The meal was fabulous, cooked to perfection, exactly how we wanted it. My Sis likes her steak almost cremated, and I like mine medium. All perfect…Thank you Chef Paul 😁
Both of you keep up the good work 😬

I did not get the Receptionist name on the Tuesday morning, but thank you. You did a great job 😁

I did not get the best night sleep, as the room we were in had a connecting door. Unfortunately, we had some rowdy, loud neighbours. I did tell reception, who were great and let the other room know. They toned it down a little bit, but could still hear all of their conversation. I eventually fell to sleep at around 04:30am, only to be up at 07:30am.

I would suggest the rooms with connecting doors be left for family/friends/groups, if the rooms are not all connecting rooms.

Overall, it was a good stay

Ideal location. Staff very pleasant
Pros:

Ideal location for central West Bromwich and with excellent road access to the motorway. Nice large carpark, with free parking. Room to the usual Premier Inn standard and it was nice to find the aircon had been put on before I arrived, esprcially given the windows don't open (hottest day of tye year so far).

Great value for the price
Pros:

I believe the stay offered excellent value for the price. While there was some ongoing renovation on the floor I stayed on, which caused a bit of dirt in the hallway, it didn't detract much from the overall experience. I didn't try the Wi-Fi, as my previous experience at the Premier Inn in Longbridge was poor, but my Lebara network was sufficient for my needs. The mattress was incredibly comfortable, and I had a restful two-night stay.

The hotel's proximity to the city center is another major advantage – it’s just across the street from the New Square Mall, Odeon Cinema, and a variety of restaurants and shops. Additionally, it's not far from the Lodge Road Metro stop. All in all, it was great value for the price!
