Best hotel I’ve ever stayed at
Pros:

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Premier Inn thanks to Lina. Her customer service is beyond exceptional – she is warm, friendly, and truly goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome.

This Premier Inn is honestly above any I’ve ever stayed at. The whole team is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the facilities are amazing. From the moment I arrived to the moment I left, I felt genuinely looked after.

I would come back to this hotel just for the amazing staff and the outstanding way they treat their guests. Highly recommended!

Pros:

Although the hotel was surrounded by busy roads our room was quiet, the room was very clean.breakfast in the morning was very good and lots of options, the cooked breakfast was well done.i would like to mention a lady called Lorraine, she was unbelievably helpful, our visit would not have been so good had it not been for her,we were very stressed out when we arrived but she sorted everything out for us and made us very welcome, she was friendly and always seemed to be smiling, thankyou so much Lorraine.

Wasn't the greatest of stays
Pros:

Meh wasn't the greatest of stays. Very loud traffic noise from outside. Room too hot! The breakfast was nice. I don't know if I would stay here again.

The room was just what we would expect from Prem Inn's, functional and very clean.
Pros:

My partner and I arrived late on Friday evening and finding our reservation was initially a problem but Lina was able to locate the appropriate documentation; she as brilliant and so helpful, and helped us with the parking situation. It was very full and she kindly gave up her space to assist us, two rather tired and older people. Five start Lina and a big thank you from us.

Not the best
Pros:

The room was tidy but we found dust on bedside tables on top of headboard on picture.
There was dust on the bathroom floor.
Thank goodness we aren't allergic to dust

Top Tier Customer Service
Pros:

Absolutely superb, Lina on reception was simply outstanding,

I was staying on business but also combining with midweek football and she ensured I had a pizza and some refreshments waiting for me on my return at 10pm as she knew the kitchen would be closed.

A lovely pizza, a beer, warm comfy room on a bitterly cold night, excellent wifi and top-tier customer service

Would highly recommend 💜🌟

Lift not working for at least two weeks!
Pros:

We stayed 4th November and then 17th on our return journey. The lift wasn’t working on 4th and we were not happy on the 17th when we found we were on the first floor and the lift was still not repaired!

PI's - overall package slipping quickly
Pros:

Usual standard for PI but as is becoming more and more common no food or bar offered except for breakfast. We were booked fri and sun night. Cancelled the sun after staying the Friday. Were VERY regular users of PI's for groups of 16+ all over the country. Having a serious think about whether that will continue in the future! Only saving grace about this one was friendly and helpful staff.

an okay stay but not the standard expected
Pros:

I wanted somewhere to stay on the edge of the lake district and this was convenient. on arrival seemed good outside, easy to park. booked in but not told the lift not working, found out myself! so 2 flights of stairs with bags. room was clean, although did notice later marks on the bathroom ceiling that looked like mould. shower didn't have much pressure and took a while to get temp right. I'd booked an evening meal as part of the package, service was excellent but unfortunately the beer battered fish and chips I'd ordered wasnt, not beer battered and very bland although the ice cream was lovely. the bed as usual very comfy but sleep not great as my room faced the stairs door and with the lift not working it was banging several times during the night. breakfast the next morning delicious as always and the staff amazing. ive stayed in several Premier inns and this one was tired,my stay okay but not the standard ive come to expect and why I stay in them. I would consider the hotel again but would eat elsewhere.

Not the best Premier Inn
Pros:

Booked this hotel as an overnight stay to break up our journey to the lakes.

We arrived at 7.15pm. It was dark and the hotel is quite tricky to find. The car park is so poorly lit, so hard to navigate parking.

The girl who served us was very friendly but advised us that the lift was broken. We were on the 2nd floor with heavy bags. We found this a struggle with heavy bags, and my husband has mobility issues which did not help either. The stairs were absolutely filthy. I don't think they had seen a hoover in a long time.

We were advised that food was stopped being served at 8pm, and it was a 'bottle bar' that was closing at 9pm. After a long journey we wanted a few drinks and food. But we opted just for drinks as the bar/restraunt area had a strong smell of cooking grease, and it was so cold as the aircon was blasting freezing cold air. The food ventilation system must be broken. The bar set-up is very odd. This public space had no music or anything, making it awkward and uninviting.

We had a premier plus room which was fine, sainsburys bottled water in the fridge is not a good look though. Would not stay here again. The manager needs to put some effort into this hotel.
