I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Premier Inn thanks to Lina. Her customer service is beyond exceptional – she is warm, friendly, and truly goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome.
This Premier Inn is honestly above any I’ve ever stayed at. The whole team is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the facilities are amazing. From the moment I arrived to the moment I left, I felt genuinely looked after.
I would come back to this hotel just for the amazing staff and the outstanding way they treat their guests. Highly recommended!
Although the hotel was surrounded by busy roads our room was quiet, the room was very clean.breakfast in the morning was very good and lots of options, the cooked breakfast was well done.i would like to mention a lady called Lorraine, she was unbelievably helpful, our visit would not have been so good had it not been for her,we were very stressed out when we arrived but she sorted everything out for us and made us very welcome, she was friendly and always seemed to be smiling, thankyou so much Lorraine.
Great stay in Peterborough over the last couple of days.
Customer service by Lina was great, she really took great care to make sure everything was as you would want it to be
Such a clean, welcoming hotel, also on a busy junction but hardly hear traffic and staff top class would recommend to anyone visiting Peterborough, great city centre location at worst £5 taxi from train station
Meh wasn't the greatest of stays. Very loud traffic noise from outside. Room too hot! The breakfast was nice. I don't know if I would stay here again.
My partner and I arrived late on Friday evening and finding our reservation was initially a problem but Lina was able to locate the appropriate documentation; she as brilliant and so helpful, and helped us with the parking situation. It was very full and she kindly gave up her space to assist us, two rather tired and older people. Five start Lina and a big thank you from us.
Absolutely superb, Lina on reception was simply outstanding,
I was staying on business but also combining with midweek football and she ensured I had a pizza and some refreshments waiting for me on my return at 10pm as she knew the kitchen would be closed.
A lovely pizza, a beer, warm comfy room on a bitterly cold night, excellent wifi and top-tier customer service
Would highly recommend 💜🌟
The location is perfect, great atmosphere as its in town centre. Rooms never dissapoint. Good value for what you get. My only concern is how reception can't be more pro active when dealing with bookings.
Clean, comfy and quiet rooms, fantastic bed! And great food in the restaurant downstairs! Excellent service from Lina!
Great visit again here. Lina was really helpful with informing me of special rate and was very friendly! Thanks and see you again soon
Bedroom was totally fine, comfy bed, breakfast was good but some items were cold do you it being a buffet, getting someone to be at the reception was a problem
Our trip to Peterborough was very nice, especially after meeting the receptionist Lina who was professional and polite and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. She is a credit to your company 5*
Lina and Stephan couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. Great service and friendly attitude throughout or stay
This hotel was central to our family get-together venue, and in that, it was ideal.
However, being charged £15 every time we leave the hotel is extremely excessive.
The full english breakfast was too bad for words, but I will give it a go.
Undercooked bacon, no fried eggs, we had to set our own table, no Danish pastries every time I went to look for them. Deffo not woth the money, you would be better off going elsewhere.
The room bathroom fan is extremely noisy and wakes everybody during the night.
Only one hand towel is available for 2 people. What's that all about?
Not up to premier inn standards, but the staff made up for it a bit.
It's a premier inn, u get what's expected but the restaurant takes far to long. Took over an hour to get main meal then had to wait another 30 minutes waiting for deserts. Come on guys,
we needed to go to the passport office so the location was perfect the reception was very welcoming the room was very clean and tidy we had a great nights sleep and the breakfast was very good I dont think I could have asked for any more
My first visit of a Premier Inn overnight stayaway Bed and Breakfast and very impressed with overall experience.
Used this visit as a perfect relaxing end to a busy Railtour day experience.
Despite a late 9pm arrival and check in I was not kept waiting too long for my allocated room.
The room key activation of lift was a good security feature of the hotel.
Noticed a tidy, clean and modern layout in all the public areas and within my modern deluxe bedroom.
My chosen allocated deluxe bedroom was spacious, clean, tidy, well lit and very modern.
The small chiller contained complementary chilled still and sparkling water with chocolate complementary bars together with ready supply of tea flavour choices and a unique top of the range coffee maker.
The bed was very soft and relaxing in a very quiet atmosphere to complement a lovely revitalising sleep.
The bathroom contained a choice of bath, shower or monsoon style shower that was very invigorating with ready supply of hotel dispenser soap and bodywash.
Complementary use of WiFi was also readily available.
Breakfast time was very enjoyable- a smart and clean layout of a wide range of cereals, fruit and juices, toast, spreads and a wide variety of hot food regularly replenished.
The hotel staff overall were polite, professional, efficient, courteous and business-like.
Just a couple of observations were the milk cartons in the bedroom were totally inadequate and barely sufficient to make one cup of hot drink- a better idea would to have a ready supply of self service chilled milk and fresh water dispenser machines located on every floor level to hotel guests.
I would have preferred the option of windows that open complementing the in-bedroom air conditioning units.
The limited car park was a lottery- better to park at nearby railway station car park only ten minutes walk away particularly at very reasonable weekend multi day overstay rates.
I would certainly recommend this hotel chain as a perfect home from home for a weary traveller. It certainly rivals and in some cases exceeds the level of service normally expected of high end rival hotel chains
We have stayed in a couple of premier inns in Peterborough previously but this one is outstanding, the staff member “Lina” is awesome and really made our stay perfect. Nothing was too much trouble - she deserves a pay rise!
Peterborough Premier is like a family run BnB. In a good way, really friendly breakfast team : Lorraine and Kate. The chefs kept the breakfast coming : John, Charliegh and Warren. Can't wait to go back. Great nights sleep too.
I had a great experience at the Premier Inn Peterborough. Lorraine, Kate, Charleigh and John were absolute superstars – friendly, helpful and genuinely went out of their way to make the stay comfortable. It’s rare to see a team work so well together and make guests feel so welcome. The hotel was clean, quiet and well-run, but it’s really the people who made the difference. Big thanks to the whole team!
