The room was clean, staff were friendly and the attached restaurant very good.
The heating controls in the room weren’t the clearest to use, and the “ultimate” WiFi was very disappointing - £5 for barely 1-2Mbs was not worth the money. A minimum or likely speed guarantee would have helped me realise it wasn’t worth the money!
Just want to say a huge thank you to Laura! What an incredible service, I booked way earlier in the year over the phone, she went above and beyond to ensure our rooms were exactly as requested. My auntie needed an accessible room with walk in shower, and the 2nd room to have a cot bed. Laura remembered speaking to me after booking so far ahead, she was lovely to speak to and checked directly with us that everything was okay.
Our stay as a family was brilliant ! We had all in breakfast which was amazing, great servicein the restaurant too. (premier inn need to ensure the cot bed mattresses fit the cot beds, this is a safety risk for babies) not the staffs fault though.
But this, I was unhappy with. I had to request a second mattress and use multiple towels to create a safe and soft enough mattress for my baby that actually fits the cot.
Apart from that though.
Everything else, cannot fault!
Thank you for a wonderful stay ! ❤️
Great location easily accessed from the M5, a very friendly reception. The rooms were clean and had everything needed for the stay, a nice quiet stay. All staff were very polite, friendly and couldn’t have done anything more, I enjoyed my stay slept well as always with a premier inn
Good location for our purposes. A simple ‘motel ‘ type accommodation. The rooms are a bit dated but comfortable. Handy adjoining restaurant. Easy access to the M5. Quiet.
Me and my husband stayed here on a Sunday evening for a local concert we were attending, I must say we were very impressed! The staff were very helpful and accommodating, the pub is perfectly located, the car park was spacious (even better that it’s free) and we loved the fact it was just off the main road and had a real country feel. I had read a review on here previously that said it was dangerous to get out onto the main road but we thought we had a perfect view when leaving the hotel in both directions. It was really peaceful, we had no wi fi issues and we were able to park the car literally outside of the window due to our room backing onto the car park (a coincidence I know but we liked it!)
Our room was spotlessly clean, the bathroom was spacious.
Overall we found our stay great value for money and all being well we will be visiting many times in 2026! We have visited several premier inns in the past, even though we have never had a problem in any we have found this to be our favourite.
Credit to all the team that keep it top tier.
Great Premier Inn! I needed a stop off en route to the west country so booked here. Excellent value for money and a couple of minutes away from the M5. I had a lovely big room with the ever comfortable bed. Breakfast was next door and slightly different to normal in that the hot food was cooked to order but that made it even more tasty than usual. The continental breakfast was a buffet. All in all I couldn't fault my stay, great value for money and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Free parking as well so I will definitely stay here again.
Pleasant quiet room and facilities after a tiring day. I appreciated the opening window. A bit draughty (on a windy day) when closed, but not excessively bothersome in a September night. Had a good night.
Parking facility is good and spacious.
Upgrading to opening, uPVC-framed replacements would cure that issue.
Prior to my arrival, Laura on the phone was very helpful in allocating me a quiet, top-floor room with an opening window.
Finding the concealed hotel in the dark when driving from Weston-Super-Mare was extremely challenging - I overshot it and sat-nav had to send me on a narrow country lane via Eastertown to get back to it. Even then, the hotel wasn't clearly signposted.
However, that challenge probably helps to keep the hotel exceptionally quiet for those guests who succeed in finding it !
The Reception desk needs to position the buzzer more prominently for when a reception-team member is at another part of the hotel.
One end of the pillow I used had an odd smell.
Room was small, but nice and clean.
Only 1 desk chair.(there was 2 of us ).Had to go down to reception and ask for a second one.
Also asked for a glass or plastic cup for the bathroom, but was told they didn’t have any.
Woman on desk kindly bought up another mug.
She was very helpful.
A convenient stopover for the M5 South West journey to Cornwall. Comfortable overnight stay, great breakfast, freshly prepared cooked breakfast with good service.
I believe your staff would benefit from better training to understand and meet guests’ needs. I had two bookings – one for myself and one for my son – but we were placed on different floors. When I raised this, the receptionist simply said, “I don’t know why you aren’t together,” and made no effort to resolve it. It felt as though they either didn’t know how to help or weren’t interested in trying.
The same applied to the restaurant staff. We booked breakfast for 9am, and had four additional guests who hadn’t pre-booked. We were told we would have to sit separately, and when my guests decided to leave, the greeter showed no concern. Even for the five of us who had booked at 9am, when I suggested using three nearby tables of two, I was told, “it depends on what the computer says,” with no flexibility or common sense applied.
In the bar, I waited an unreasonably long time for a drink in the early evening. There was nobody serving, only one staff member on a computer who didn’t acknowledge us. When another member of staff arrived, instead of serving after we had already waited 10 minutes, they said they had something else to do and walked away. Again, the focus seemed to be on back-office tasks rather than customer service.
The overall service felt impersonal. Food was placed on the table without care, and staff didn’t come across as welcoming, despite us being a friendly group. By contrast, when we ate at a nearby pub and things went wrong, the staff made every effort to fix the issues, so we were understanding. At Premier Inn, however, the impression was that staff either weren’t trained well enough, or simply didn’t care enough.
By far the nicest, most friendly Premier inn we have ever stayed at. The staff are fab, even left our daughter a little bag of treats on her pillow one time! we stay here a few times a year, and we even ask for the same room, with no interconnecting door, and consistently have a really good night's sleep, it's a quiet out the way Premier inn. Only small thing is the phone signal and Internet isn't great but I'd rather a nice quiet stay over that anyway! See you again in October :-)
The hotel is conveniently situated near the M5, between Weston-Super-Mare and Bristol. The hotel staff are pleasant and rooms okay. However, it is sited on a fast bend making entering and exiting the hotel a challenge. It's also not well-signposted. Premier Inn's dynamic pricing feels unfair.
I think it is fair to say that the positive reviews are accurate. It is a 4.5. A 5 would say no room for improvement but there always is. The cost to stay for what we had was highly competitive. I give 5 for that.
NO PHONE SIGNAL and NO internet , even after paying for premium internet , got about a solid 10/15 mins out of 24 hrs . Please change to a different provider .
Clean but old hotel in need of a refurb/upgrade . Restaurant next door ok but wait for food is over an hour in evening when busier .
we had 2 weeks at the Lympsham Premier Inn whilst our bathroom was gutted the accessible room was lovely quiet & comfy the staff were amazing so kind & friendly although our breakfasts in the Hobbs Boat were very good food served hot & a good choice.
Stayed here for a couple nights in early summer while down for work in the area. Really handy location – just off the M5 so made the onward travel super easy the next morning.
Room was clean and comfortable, had everything I needed. Was happy to find extra pillows already in the room without having to ask (nice touch). Wifi worked fine for emails and video calls back home.
Staff were really welcoming when I arrived late evening – check-in was quick and easy, which I appreciated after a long day.
Only slight downside was a bit of traffic congestion due to some roadworks half a mile down the road – nothing too major, and it quieted down later in the evening.
Breakfast at the Hobs Boat next door was spot on – decent selection and quick table service.
All in all, solid experience. Not flashy but does the job really well for a business trip. Will def book here again next time I’m in the area.
Fantastic stay here! Friendly staff, lovely restaurant next door. Free parking and close to Weston and Burnham. Highly recommend.
We all enjoyed our stay at this Premier Inn!
The lady on reception at arrival was absolutely lovely and no question was too much.
The room was a standard Premier Inn room but the air con was the best we've experienced! We all slept so well.
The breakfast was great quality and really well organised! They were brilliant with our baby's milk allergy and had the allergens folder at hand. Again, the staff were friendly and couldn't have been more helpful and attentive!
We would absolutely stay here again!
Ok and convenient - cleaning is done ok but you can’t clean rotten window frames or corroded fittings and painting over them doesn’t cut it.
Parking good but access on the inside of a bend on a busy road is awkward with invisible signage - exiting means you take your life in your hands guessing nothing is coming round the bend fast
Somehow the cleaners left the previous guests nightie hanging on the back of the bathroom door so they can’t have disinfected the inside toilet door handle
Appalling internet service.
Do not stay here if you require internet access. Even after paying additional money to ''boost'' the signal I was unable to send any work emails, Awful.
