Premier Inn Coventry - Binley/A46

We arrived at the hotel 45 minutes earlier than check in at 3pm, when we went to reception the gentleman behind the desk greeted us with a Hi, I greeted him back and proceeded to tell him that I had checked in online already, his response you can't check in until 3, i.asked if it was a possibility to check in slightly earlier and the response I got was you will have to pay £15 to check in early. There was no apology or I will check your room to see if it's ready, he basically wasn't bothered, we came back 30 minutes later when we saw other guests arrive and waited to check in.
We headed to reception once again, at this.point a very pleasant receptionist had just come on to shift, who started to help with the back log of guests. We ended up with the not so happy receptionist, no greeting, just name, he couldn't figure out what he.was doing, not sure if it had to do something to do with me checking in online in the end we had the female receptionist who was lovely.
The room was clean, the other hotel staff such as housekeepers and the servers at breakfast were all very friendly and welcoming, it was just when we were first 'greeted' by the male receptionist it put us off. We've stayed at many premier inns but this experience was negative for us

When I first approached the hotel, I thought it looked basic and a little tired however, when we booked in at reception, the staff were so helpful and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The room was spotless and the bed was superb. The traffic become a little noisy in the evening but, we were directly on the link road, so to be expected. Breakfast was so tasty and good variety of items were offered. The lady chef was such a friendly happy person, nothing was to much for her. All the restaurant staff were pleasant and worked tirelessly clearing used plates etc. The price of our room/breakfast was very reasonable. We will definitely re visit..

Hotel was okay, staff was very welcoming. Big downside was the bed was really uncomfortable and the shower had little to no pressure and temperature tap was very temperamental. Also shower rail which had my towel on it was covered in rust 🤢 fairly disappointed hence the 2 star rating. Friendliness of staff was the only saving factor

We really enjoyed our stay but want to give honest feedback.

Let’s start with the down sides:
* the hotel itself is looking very tired, carpets are faded/stained, paint is faded/chipped
* food - disappointing breakfast quality. The food wasn’t cooked well enough, I know this could be considered self preference but tomatoes still crunchy, sausages bearly brown (even on one side), mushrooms dry and chewy (appeared to be cooked in the oven as opposed to the frying pan)

Okay let’s go for the good things:
* Staff were great, nothing was too much trouble and very friendly
* TGI 20% off discount was great
* Good location

I would go back again.

Staff very so lovely - really friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was ok, usual choices for hot food & then pastries, toast, cereals, yoghurt etc. Tea, coffee, juices, herbal teas all available.
Rooms were comfortable and clean, but hotel a little tired and could be refreshed to improve it.

We had the best time! The rooms although a bit dated are spotlessly clean and the hotel was very quiet especially during the night.
The staff in the dining room and kitchen were exceptionally welcoming and friendly especially the cook/chef. She is Polish (i didn't get her name) and went above and beyond to ensure all our dietary requirements were met! We had a coeliac and a vegetation with us and she remembered this without us asking the second day! Such a credit to your business! We were visiting Miniatura and will be making sure we stay here next time. !!

The staff were very helpful, always very happy to assist. We needed other on-bookings with Premier, in Thirsk and Washington, before returning to Coventry (Binley) and the manager helped us immensely. The rooms were exactly what we wanted and needed, nothing required 'over the top' and everything always clean. Will certainly stay here again if I return this way.

Well sited near to lots of local facilities, garages, supermarkets etc., The usual confortable beds and rooms very clean and staff welcoming you as if they were really pleased to see you. All this and a resonable price compared to some other well known brands of this type of hotels!!

The room was a basic room. Not in the cleanest state and there was black mold on the ceiling of the bathroom. The worst thing was the fire alarm that went off before 7am, after a very poor sleep. I got an Airbnb the next night for a quarter of the Saturday price and slept like a baby. I'll make sure to go for that every time now.

Stayed here after attending a concert. Staff were so friendly and helpful, room was perfect and breakfast the next morning was delicious. Would definitely recommend to others.

Our room was clean and in perfect order, with a spotless bathroom and a quiet location at the back of the hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and having free parking available was a real plus. The free Wi-Fi, however, was very slow — I needed to connect to my Google Drive and the standard connection was not sufficient. I paid the additional £5 for the premium Wi-Fi, and it worked perfectly. Aside from this, everything was just perfect. It’s not a fancy hotel, but it is perfect for people travelling for business (like me) and needing quick and easy access to the motorway.

The beds were comfortable, and the staff were polite and helpful throughout our stay. The location is also excellent, with easy access to nearby attractions and transport.

However, the temperature in both the room and corridor was consistently around 27°C, which made our stay quite uncomfortable. Despite being provided with two fans and keeping the window open, the heat was overwhelming and made it difficult to sleep. Air conditioning or better ventilation would have made a big difference.

Very handy for visiting family in Leamington Spa. Well positioned with Costa and other shops nearby. Very clean, as always with Premier Inn, friendly staff, great breakfast and such a comfy bed. No trouble sleeping here!

This particular Premier inn I have found to be one of the most friendliest and most welcoming sites I have stayed at. The hotel is Clean, the staff are helpful and friendly. Breakfast was lovely. Beds were comfy and room was nice and peaceful.
The only two things the hotel could do with tweaking in the future is Air conditioning because the fan in the room isn't sufficient enough on hot hot days, and better Internet connection on the free WiFi. Other than those two minor issues I would certainly recommend this particular premier inn.

Rooms are roasting due to lack of good insulation and no air con. Bed good but when 27degC all night, very poor nights sleep.

Nice breakfast room, friendly staff and tasty food.
Easy accessible parking. Not so easy wheelchair maneuverability within the hotel. Some doors are very narrow and not much room for turning at tge entrance.
Friendly helpful reception team.
Accessible room 3 desperately in need of refurbishment. Very tired looking and no wet room.
Only one single power point at one side of the beds, none on the other.
Comfortable bed and pillows.
Overall a pleasant stay.

Greeted with a lovely smile from the receptionist as we arrived on Friday 27th at 3 o'clock check in. My pillow was too hard for me first night next day saw another young lady who went and found me a flatter one so was very helpful and Slept better on that one. Breakfast was very good all work hard to keep it all filled up.

Really well located plenty of shops in the area seems a secure carpark with plenty of spaces
Only downside at this time of year is the heat as my room didn’t have air-conditioning and 27degrees centigrade in the room was a bit too hot even with the fan and window open
Breakfast wasn’t okay nothing outstanding but filling and tasty
Would I stay here again yes I would as this is my 2nd stay here as it’s clean and functional

Stayed at this hotel for my first visit to Coventry,from the 11th-13th .
Came very late ,the front desk was supper helpful ,the morning after I had an issue which was resolved by the lady on the front desk after I was misinformed by the person on the phone on the 10th.
But the lady at front desk was very welcoming and explained to me what I needed to know ,she also had nice smile I must say and her bob was cut to perfection.
Then went into breakfast and had a wonderful meal I must say the chef is really chef kiss .

I stayed in the family room with my 2 grandsons aged 11 and 15. Even though I only confirmed there would be an extra boy staying the day before, 3 beds were made up and ready. I paid for a full breakfast so both boys ate free - this was such a help to me. This premier Inn is smaller than most so never feel overwhelmed or rushed. The breakfast was great, the parking ample. This was our second visit and would definitely stay again. It's close to Coventry so a short car ride or bus ride. The Coventry Transport Museum is fantastic, both boys were even more impressed that they were with the British Motor Museum and that takes some beating. Good place to stay for both.
