Premier Inn Derby South

Good location, very clean. Nice relaxing atmosphere, the room was a good size and was clean, had extra pillows already in the room and the staff were so friendly! Especially Emma on front of house she was here there and everywhere! Being attentive on reception to helping guests to tables at breakfast nothing was too much for her! She went above and beyond.

Emma was very attentitive and went above and beyond . very rare in this type of buisness. a reall asset

faultless, genuinely. my experience of premier inns through the years has been turbulent to say the least. I was greeted well on arrival and then remained consistently spoken too throughout the stay. The food was fantastic and the waiting staff were courteous. Couldn’t make a complaint even if I tried

I would not stay here again! Stayed last day of August and wasn't reslly that hot nut rooms were very stuffy. No AC which ok is mentioned but window sticker says there is a constant fkiw of fresh air. Clearly not the case as we had an Air Quality Monitor that showed high levels!
Called out night porter to room as internal extractor fan not working. He was very rude and not very helpful and didn't improve anything in the room.
Complained to reception in the morning but no manager available and was given incorrect email so contaced Guest Relations...

The Good Night Guarantee is a complete waste of time as they constantly argued I was not entitled to a full refund without full justification as to their reasons.

Room was clean and comfortable, friendly staff.
Shower could be stronger.
Food very good ,the haddock and chips was especially so.
Would we go to this Premier Inn again. YES !

Hotel was very good, clean and comfortable. The staff polite and helpful.
The staff in the dining area were also helpful and polite and very happy with the meals we had there.
The only issue we had was trying to find it in the dark as the signage is not very good, you have to drive to KFC then take the turning which looks like an industrial road turning, then struggle to find the way to the car park. Apart from that it’s nice and quiet.

Wonderful stay! Beds fabulous as usual, staff were super friendly and welcoming, both in the hotel and the restaurant next door. Loved the shower. Overall, a great weekend.

Excellent stay, very clean and comfortable room. Over the years and several stays, the standards have been maintained.

Poor………no food at 7:15 on sunday evening !!, no explanation or sorry, couldn’t even advise where to go for local food, (thank god for a helpfull customer)

Stayed here for a wedding nearby so location brilliant. Travelled from the south of England and were blown away by the happiness of the staff. Such a refreshing change from what we are used to. Emma on reception, Jade in the bar and Daz in the restaurant were all amazingly happy and helpful.

Excellent, friendly service. Room as you would expect of a premier inn. Would definitely stay again if went to Derby. Very peaceful, and quality bed.

Although the hotel is a bit dated, the team makes up for it; especially Emma and Weronika, who made us feel very welcome and helped us with room changes; nothing was too much. Also the adjoining Oast House had very friendly and helpful staff. All in all it made our stay. Thank you all very much

Excellent service and accommodation. Very friendly and competent staff. Enjoyable, good quality, and great value meals. Especially the early meal specials and the meal deal, which includes 2 course dinner, drink and breakfast. I was made to feel very welcome. Would fully recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at this Premier Inn. It was comfortable with a lovely restaurant. The evening meal was tasty and breakfast freshly cooked. The staff, in particular Emma at breakfast made our experience exceptional. Emma’s commitment to customer service was unwavering and she is a credit to Premier Inn.

An all round standard hotel that gave me and the family everything we needed for an overnight stay. Breakfast staff good in the morning and the hotel reception team friendly. Would stay here again. My only gripe would be that it’s in a rough area that’s quite intimidating as a family of 4

Very comfortable bed, fair sized rooms, no issues parking and friendly staff. Very unassuming, does what it says on the tin which is exactly what i wanted! Good location served by 2 main routes from M1 Which was ever so useful coming up from Essex

Premier Inn is generally my first choice when looking for accommodation, as they offer good value. In addition to individual breaks twice a year we go away with friends (7of us in 4 rooms) and always choose Premier Inn as it allows good accommodation with the benefit of booking a table for 7 for breakfast and dinner.
