been coming here for a few years, now charge 3 pounds per night for stay i will not be staying here again stay somewhere else money grab
I was served by a polite young man, he was very patient taking my order due to my stutter. I will definitely be visiting again soon.
Excellent location in Horndean and off the motorway. Very easy to get to South Downs, and to visit Portsmouth.
Very comfortable hotel with easy parking and a warm welcome from staff. The bed was comfortable and there were good quality toiletries in the en suite shower room. Nice to have comfortable seating too. All spotlessly clean.
Excellent value, and nice to be able to walk into the town with choice of places to eat.
The hotel provided a comfortable night's sleep. Room had no natural air as windows were sealed, so would have preferred to be able to have some 'fresh' air.
Air conditioning made the temperature more comfortable.
This was my second stay and again the room was spacious, clean. The beds are sensationally comfortable and the room very quiet. The air conditioning worked very well too as I normally like to sleep in a room with an open window. Most of all the staff are friendly and helpful without exception, which was great!
Lovely stay. The room was clean, and comfortable. Was informed prior to the stay about the road closure although this did not affect anything
We got stuck on a shut motorway for 3 hours. (Obviously my heart goes out to anyone involved in the accident, and their needs are far more important than ours.) Luckily we had booked Premier Inn for an overnight stop and they promise a 24 hour check-in so we didn't need to worry about the extra time waiting. And sure enough when we did arrive at 2am they were incredibly friendly and efficient. Hugely appreciated.
I'd booked one night at the premier Inn whilst visiting my parents on Hayling island.
I arrived after a fairly stressful drive but was greeted with a smile which was nice.
Check in was nice and quick. Had to pay £3 to park for one night which I didn't think was too bad.
I'd paid for the meal deal - evening 2 course meal with a drink and unlimited breakfast.
The evening meal was nice but I have had nicer at the Brentwood premier Inn.
I had a room on the first floor which was very comfortable and I had a good night's sleep.
I went down to breakfast at around 9am by which time the "continental" elements were fairly short in supply. I had granola with fruit and yogurt and a couple of croissants. I didn't have any of the cooked breakfast items so can't comment on that.
I would say that the price for a continental breakfast is quite steep for the variety on offer but I had been happy to pay for the meal deal for pure convenience.
The staff I encountered were all very friendly and helpful and as a solo female I felt very safe.
The staff were wonderful they helped me so much the treats in our room made us feel so welcome on our second day my son fell ill and made a mess of the toilet and nathan (staff member) came straight in and cleaned it all up no issues so polite and professional great guy had a great stay will be booking again thanks guys
We stayed at Premier Inn Horndean as a family during the October break and had a fantastic experience. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and went out of their way to make our kids feel special, even giving them a Halloween pack each. They were always informative and happy to help. Thanks to the team, this has been our best Premier Inn stay ever – we can’t recommend it highly enough!
Charged me an additional fee of £6 on arrival at reception without notifying me beforehand, so I was unaware of this charge.
I have stayed here before and had no issues but upon arrival I was informed that I needed to pay a parking fee to stay at the hotel, which I think is disgusting considering I had already paid to stay and nothing was mentioned upon booking. Also there is nowhere else to park for free as the hotel is next door to a busy motorway junction. I fully understand registering your vehicle if you are visiting as this is to deter other people from using your parking but what I don't understand is why you charge for something that there is no need for. Secondly on the morning of departure, hot breakfast was not avaliable due to a problem with the kitchen ovens. Obviously Liquid refreshments were available alongside a very small choice of cereal but considering I paid for a Full English Breakfast and this was not avaliable, I was not offered any compensation for the charge of £10.99
Positives:
Staff are welcoming, flexible and resolve problems quickly
Beds are comfortable; bedding and towels changes are clean and on request
Self serve replenishment of tea/coffee/milk
Yoghurt now served in large containers to avoid unnecessary plastics
Breakfast was served hot and replenished regularly (£10.99); good vfm since unlimited
Self check in is convenient
Amazon lockers are useful for delivery pick up for longer stays
Even better if:
Head office need to ensure carpets are deep cleaned regularly; visibly dirty and corridors smell
Water flow is too fine in the sink taps so it’s difficult to wash down basin and fill sink quickly
The double rotation of the shower controls is annoying and cumbersome.
Soap dispensers in the showers just trickle down the side; a poor design
New parking charges increase stay costs
A range of complimentary tea bags are available
Hairdryers need updating; multi speed/temperature settings
We have stayed here before and it didn’t disappoint.
Good location , plenty to do.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
We had a premier plus room which was lovely, very clean , super shower. Excellent broadband compared to ours !
Very comfortable bed for our 4night stay .
Will return to this hotel.
Warm and helpful staff nothing was too much of a promlem ,it was dealt with immediately.
I would call out to the staff in the restaurant and reception at the time of visit 22/10/25
Amazing staff really attentive and a very clean room. Breakfast was hot and a lot to choose from. I will definitely be staying again
Great night's sleep and friendly staff. Reliably good place to stay. Liked the adjustable heating in the room, the choice of lighting options and the bed is sooo comfy.
Include the parking though in your prices please.
Contracting away from home, the hotel is very clean and well presented rooms. At evening time the hotel is very quiet.
The Roebuck next door serves very good quality food and breakfast is good. Ann and the other staff members give outstanding service.
The Premier Inn was really clean & the plus room was well equipped. The rooms were nice and dark at night and quiet. Perfect location to stay when visiting our friends & Barton Grange with good easy access to main roads. The car park has plenty of free space.
However, the breakfast was not good in an adjacent chef and brewer. The pub needs a deep clean, lots of dust and was grubby. The crockery had clearly been through a dishwasher but not checked and was put out still dirty. There were no tongs to handle food with and also food listed not available e.g maple syrup and blueberry muffins, as well as the coffee not coming from a machine but from flasks which meant that it was hot as it should be. It's definitely not worth the money. In fact, I would question there hygiene rating based on what I observed.
I would definitely stay at the hotel again, but not have breakfast at the pub.
Really nice clean premier inn, nice and dark at night also quiet.
Really good place to stop.easy access to main roads.
Car park plenty of free space.
Breakfast not so good in an adjacent chef and brewer..
not worth the money and the eating place was dark and a bit grubby.
Would I stay at the hotel.again….. yes
Would I recommend ….yes
Would I have breakfast…. NO
