Premier Inn Hemel Hempstead West

I turned up not feeling to well and the staff asked if i needed anything and said to call them and even offered to bring food upstairs. Sorry i did not write the two lads names down (2/12)

In the morning i was greeted by a very cheerfull person (grant) who looked after me and offered to get my flask filled up for the day.

Andy the chef clearly cares about his food at breakfast. Most premier inns do a okay cooked breakfast but Andy was hot and tasty and was lovelly.

Great team and all cared about the guest. Thank you all

Hemel Premier was great, in particular Grant who looked after us a breakfast was outstanding - many thanks. Have stayed here before and it was up to the usual high standard

Stayed here on Saturday 29th November as a family of 3.
Arrived at 9pm after our visit to Wembley to watch football, warm welcome received. Advised to book breakfast but we weren’t sure when we wanted to eat.
Didn’t have food that evening but did have a drink. The gentleman working was really kind and chatty. Was great with our daughter (who loved her gift, thank you)
Comfy room, clean and tidy.
Minimal road noise despite being on the services.
Room was warm but not uncomfortable. Fan in the room should you want it.
Breakfast the next morning was busy. Staff worked non stop. Continental options available to hep yourselves but cooked options are made to order. The waiting staff didn’t stop, constantly working hard to look after guests. We were happy to wait for our food as it was freshly cooked and good quality. Much preferred to a lukewarm buffet! Gluten free bread available when requested (thank you)
Andy the chef did a great job in the kitchen. Food was hot and cooked well. Our daughter didn’t eat the pastry you gave her as a snack for the journey home as she was so full from her bacon, sausage and eggs!

Needed hotel for business appointment in London hotel ideally suited nice room clean good breakfast helpfull staff would use again

I had a really enjoyable stay here. Really clean and spacious rooms, great food and lovely staff. Would definitely come again

Best hotel I've ever stayed in!
The manager, Sammy, and his team made me feel very welcomed. The hitel was spotless, the beds soft and cosy, the food excellent, and the staff . . . Best in the world.

Overall the hotel was clean and without doubt was value for money. Unfortunately was a little disappointed with the bar service on the Friday afternoon as there was no one available to open the bar till 3.00pm. I enquired and was told it was due to staff availability.

My daughter had food poisoning from the evening meal (which we waited for almost 2 hours) kids meal spag bol. Bedroom standard premier inn, service (until i complained) was terrible, i think they were understaffed from what i gathered. The person i spoke to when leaving was helpful and understanding, i thought i would mention this to give a fair hearing!

Check in was easy and the staff were helpful and friendly who advised us that the hotel was busy and to book breakfast. The room was spacious and clean and no noise could be heard from the main road outside. Breakfast was well organised and plenty of choice. Special thanks to Andy and the restaurant staff who made sure everything was cleaned before my grandsons breakfast was cooked as he has a nut allergy.

The staff here are very friendly. Grant helped us with breakfast, and was so nice. The chef was funny. Clean bathroom.

We stayed last night and what a nice night sleep we had the room is proper blacked out the room is what you expect from a premier inn to be honest there's no plugs by the bed only usb why not both come on get with the times.
As you get booked you have to book your reg of the car aswell. There is a mcd's a footpath away plus a garage aswell.
We wanted to turn up for breakfast in the morning but be aware that if you turn up you will miss the eat all you want as we only happen to ask about breakfast abit after booking in and only then it was mentioned about booking for breakfast reception should be making people aware of this straight away.
Breakfast was great mind started off with some cornflakes with soya milk then into full English 2 off everything apart from black pudding and back to cornflakes with a blueberry muffin.
The food is not just walk up and fill your plates it needs to ordered but the blueberry muffins cornflakes etc etc are there the fill you boots. Would stay here again

The Staff at this hotel were amazing, from our check-in to our fantastic breakfast. The chef even came out of the kitchen and apologised for not including the hash browns. The gentleman at check-in was so friendly and helpful. This is by far one of the best premier inns I have ever stayed in. Definitely be back. Thank you for a memorable stay.

The service for breakfast was great, beds were comfy and shower just ... worked. Only problem was the tap made a shrill noise

This has to be the nicest premier inn I've been too in a long time. Staff are all approachable and friendly. Had many dealing with Grant in the morning, including the chef Andy who cooks up a great breakfast, enough to set you up for the day! Recommended!

I really can't fault my stay. The staff were fantastic, the food was great, and the room was clean and comfortable. I was a bit concerned I'd hear the main road, but honestly, I heard nothing at all. It was surprisingly quiet, and I had a great night's sleep.

We booked this hotel while we were attending the family wedding in pendley manor and was a good stay . Malik and Simona made our stay even fruitful with good care and good service. Good continental breakfast and clean room. Thank you Malik once again and it was pleasure chatting with you

Restaurant is too small for the number of rooms. Unless you want a Shell mean deal or Macdonald's for dinner, the nearest eating place is a 20 minute walk.

Got caught out by the "free parking" not being free unless you enter your details on the tablet, behind you and not in plain view in reception. I saw this the next morning and informed the reception staff who assured me they would get this sorted. A month later I receive a £100 parking ticket from ParkMaven. Why does a hotel car park which his miles from anywhere need managed parking and why do the hotel staff not mention this at check-in?

Unless this is sorted out in my favour - this will be the final time I give Premier inn any of our business!

Really lovely and unexpected stay. We often stay in Premier Inns as they are convenient and reasonably priced. However on this occasion we were met by Grant at reception. He was really helpful explaining the best time to get to Harry Potter and where to park. His local knowledge also helped with where to go for lunch. He made it very personable.
The bedroom was what we expected but very clean and as always a very comfy bed.
Breakfast was very good and quick which was helpful in leaving on time.
It’s easy to find and the car park had plenty of space. I was concerned about the noise from the dual carriage way but I didn’t need to be, the room was perfectly quiet.
Would definitely stay again if we are in the area again.
