The room was cold on arrival and smelled of damp and overpoweringly musty.
The stuff were nice in the restaurant but very clearly stressed at being massively understaffed.
Trying to grab a quick bite to eat turned into a 1 and a 1/2 hour session for just a simple main and desert.
Food was extremely lacklustre.
Restaurant and carpark busy Need to book a table in advance to receive table service rather than ordering at the bar Food good for a chain hotel
Fantastic experience overall. Friendly welcoming staff, delicious food and a comfortable room. 10/10 will visit again.
Great location, rooms, breakfast and staff. Rooms clean with great shower. Breakfast was beautifully cooked with friendly staff. Would highly recommend.
Excellent, warm, friendly and caring welcome from Laura this morning. She was SO helpful in organising access to our room slightly early. Laura definitely went above and beyond for us. Our room is clean, spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The hotel is in an extremely convenient location for enjoying all that the beautiful city has to offer. Looking forward to our 3 days here! Thanks Premier Inn with a special thank you to Laura for your kindness this morning.
I am a great Premier Inner and have been here before. It's in an excellent position - 10 mins walk from the station, across the road from Waitrose and a precinct full of shops and restaurants. Just a few minutes more and you are in the old town.
The room was clean and comfortable plus no noise. No doubt I'll be back again soon.
Only a 1 night stay whilst visiting friends, we were going to have tea in the pub next door, but were met with a sign saying 'due to being understaffed, we are not taking any walk ins' oh...ok..! So went elsewhere for tea.
The room was ideal, normal PI standard, perfectly comfortable. Only issue I didn't like was not being able to open the window, air con in the room was great, but never the same as being able to open the actual window to let fresh air in.
Larry and Lynne were both incredibly helpful when I had some issues with a booking.
Nice hotel, good food and a great location.
Ideal location, would go back, restaurant within easy walking distance, staff extremely friendly and accomading Need I say more.
Arrived to helston premier inn to be greeted by the lovely receptionist Amanda ,so helpful and friendly, lovely clean room ,really attentive staff ,loved our stay and will definitely be back thankyou
Another lovely premier inn experience. Nice reception staff. Great location for visiting surrounding areas such as Lizard, lands end and St ives etc.
Nice and quiet though the night and brekkie as normal for premier inn, does the job 👌
Parking was great and check in was very efficient.
After having a shower upon checking inn I noticed what smelt like sick and came to realise that there was still fresh sick around the toilet lid. There was also spots of sick on the bath panel and around wall by the toilet. The TV remote was not working and we realised when checking out and we looked under the bed there was lots of rubbish this was for a premier plus room as well.
On the evening on the way out to dinner we spoke with the lady at reception and advised of the remote and sick. She said she would sort straight away which she did but unfortunately the smell remained for the rest of our stay. We kept the bathroom door shut all night to try and enclosed the smell.
Four of us stayed at the Premier Inn Hereford
from the 18th September until 20th September just wanted to say what a wonderful time was had by the four of us nothing was to much trouble as there were four of us we were accommodated with rooms that were intertwined and on the ground floor which was great for myself as I was struggling to walk the food was great and reasonable especially the breakfast would like to give a shout out to Laura, Deb and Dom cannot thank these people enough a warm and friendly service nothing was to much trouble
20 minute walk into town to visit my favourite hostelry, the Blue Anchor! Close to bus routes at the Tesco. Managed to do some walking but one day was wet and kept me inside licensed premises! Room spotless, staff friendly and welcoming. With breakfasts at the adjoining May Tree, value all round.
Really nice hotel. Lovely building, nice and clean inside and lovely staff.
The room was a family room, well equipped with everything we needed.
Premier Inn beds really are the most comfortable, and this was no exception.
The only problem was the WiFi. The signal was really bad even with logging into the free wifi but I think it's simply the location that doesn't have great service.
Can't fault it. I'd stay here again.
The hotel and hotel staff were superb. On the other hand we had such a cold reception from an older certain female member of staff at breakfast on the first morning. We had booked breakfast at the hotel reception but it had not shown up on their computer and it seemed to be the end of the world for this individual. There must have been 20 spare tables. We had prepaid for the time we were there and this experience seemed to put a dampener on the start of our holiday. The restaurant is seriously in need of a deep clean and revamp.Food remnants and crumbs under every table from the previous night.
We stayed here 3 times this year .and booked again for a week. The staff are excellent beds very comfortable and clean.all staff keep the good work up
Very friendly helpful staff lovely comfortable bed and clean rooms, close to supermarkets, pubs and a good hub for discovering the Lizard peninsula.
The hotel staff and room were excellent. The pub next door was understaffed but breakfast good. Avoid waitress Sandy - rudest waitress we've ever met. Spoke to us like we were dirt on her shoe.
We’ve stayed here multiple times over the years and the staff are generally welcoming and lovely the only issue we had previously was with the cleanliness of the room.
On this visit, we were put in a room with mould in the window and in the bathrooms, but it was eventually dealt with. The housekeeper was a brilliant lovely lady.
The main problem was I requested a late checkout until 1:30pm and informed the staff I would be in a really important work call.
At around 1:00pm the alarms in our room went off, initially I thought it was a drill, but it was triggered sporadically with no one warning, at least 10 times and it sounded like it was specifically in our room, as I couldn’t hear the main alarms outside.
At some point we thought it was deliberate, and my son who is extremely sensitive to loud noise was really troubled by it.
Having worked at hotels previously I am aware of the drill and fire alarm testing procedure and none of that was followed in this instance.
The general vibe of the hotel has changed as well, which is so sad to see, hopefully this was a one-off glitch.
