Situated just off the M27(J2). Follow the A36 towards Salisbury and the brown tourist signs marked 'Vine Inn'.
The reception staff Shaan and Gareth were very welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. Thank you very much for a welcoming stay.
Re-write of my last review which seems to have been removed ?? Possibly due to photos I included of the lorry at 05.56am
Stayed a night at this hotel, Saturday to Sunday. Rudely awoken by a HGV at 5.30am who proceeded to manoeuvre out of carpark with reversing bleeping and shouting to his banksman. This continued for well over 35 mins including the time the driver sat in the lorry warming up his engine.
I sent a complaint to Premier Inn and followed up with a phone call as they failed to reply …… lady on phone at call centre was unhelpful to the point of saying “any disturbance from outside the hotel (even in their own carpark) is NOT A COMPLAINT THEY CAN OR WILL DEAL WITH. The driver and lorry were staying at the hotel….. Quite frankly Premier Inn do not give a damn about a good nights sleep, despite all their adverts on television saying to the contrary. LENNY HENRY WOULD NOT HAVE SLEPT FITFULLY AT THIS HOTEL..
**** Receptionist, Jacqui, was incredibly helpful and very apologetic. Shame the call centre staff couldn’t go to the same Charm School.
Lovely comfortable bed room good size, shower was an attachment in the bath nice hot water and looking out of the window onto the edge of new forest. Just off the M27 very easy to find turn into the Vine inn car park and follow the road round plenty of parking spaces
Stayed in Premier Inns a handful of times this year with mixed experiences. This was by far the worst. Poorly maintained, to the point of dirty, room.
Upon arriving the two staff behind the counter couldn’t have been any more disinterested or rude if they had tried.
The room (and public areas) was badly in need of repairs and maintenance. The room was damp (to the point of pillow etc feeling damp.). The TV from the room next door was clearly audible and the heating didn’t work, so the room was cold.
Bathroom had peeling paint, carpet lifting in the doorways, rusty towel rail etc. just nasty. Wouldn’t really recommend unless you fancy roughing it.
Everything it says on the tin. Friendly stay, comfy rooms, free parking. Perfectly placed for Peppa Pig land, and Hungry Horse next door. And a Wacky Warehouse. Perfect.
3 night stay - hotel is perfectly placed for accessing the New Forest, Southampton and Bournemouth by car. Free Parking. Rooms were spacious and clean, reception staff - Ali in particular was friendly and helpful in fulfilling our request for a ground floor room
Stayed here a few times and always a great experience, helpful staff and always friendly.
Had the breakfast which is always good value for money and very tasty
The staff here are amazing and really do their jobs as they want to, not cause they have to. It really makes your stay memorable. Sharon was so helpful both prior to arrival over the phone and whilst there. Shes dedicated. Ali on reception was most helpful and kind, also joby at breakfast. Peyman just never stopped smiling, his passion to serve everyone was really appreciated. We arrived as strangers, just another number, but left feeling like a friend. Stayed as a family in 2 rooms for a business to peppa pig world. This hotel suits all from families , workmen, business men and couples. Looking forward to return one day. Yes, as some reviews say it may appear abit updated in some rooms etc , but it did not spoil our stay at all. Only thing I didn't like was when it came to leave - end of. Book and have a nice time, how we did. Really appreciated the care over my daughters coeliac gluten free foods at breakfast that's a medical requirement and not through choice. Thank you to the chef too.
This is an ideal base for Peppa Pig World which was why we chose it. We’ve also stayed in so many Premier Inns but this was by far the worst.
Bedroom carpet was filthy and needed replacing, all the edges of the carpet were thick with dust. They clearly hadn’t been hoovered properly in years.
Wall lights above the bed didn’t work, not ideal when trying to get two toddlers to bed, reception came down with lightbulbs that didn’t work either- said that something had probably blown but at 8pm we just put up with it.
Toddler on camp bed woke up with questionable bites on their body.
Didn’t go to the Vine next door, it looked grim.
Only positives are the location and the staff were friendly.
Great location for visit Peppa Pig world. Wacky Warehose next door in the Vine Pub. Great value meals also in the Pub. Fantastic breakfast in Priemer Inn restaurant. All staff really helpful and friendly. Would stay again.
The first two rooms we were offered stank of mould. There only other room available had exposed carpet grips which my children could’ve stepped on, a window which wouldn’t close (ground floor room), mouldy windows, and what looked like blood on the bathroom mirror. The “ultimate” WiFi was extremely slow, and the breakfast was stale. I have reported the issues to Premier Inn and they’ve not resolved it satisfactorily and said they won’t reply to my concerns further.
Absolutely fantastic location and fantastic staff especially too Sharan and Amy they were brilliant and went above and beyond .
Tucked away, it's an ideal location and perfectly positioned to access local routes. All staff were friendly, particularly Sharon and Amy on the desk when we arrived. No forced niceties, but genuine welcoming personalities. Can't fault the service. Have been before here and will be back!
Great location, however room smelt of urine and hotel just gave a cleaning material and didn't clean or check it out themselves, skirting hadn't been cleaned for years, reception not really interested in how the room smelt just told us the hotel was full.
Restaurant staff are very welcoming and friendly! The chef on duty, Flora the waitress and Sharon at front door. Foods were delicious, 10/10 quality and overall experience!
Sharon in front desk and Flora are really friendly and very accommodating. The food was really great as well and I was pleasantly surprised to know that everything Paul is making was not fried at all!
Me & my son have stayed at multiple premier inns around the country. This premier inn is by far our favourite. The bedrooms & bathrooms are always clean. The staff there are so kind, helpful & friendly. From the manager Sharan who is absolutely the sweetest lady to all the other staff.
They always make you feel welcome. The breakfast is fantastic I had the full English & the food was lovely, my son had yogurt, toast & croissants which he said were lovely. When we visit Paultons park we will always stay at this hotel. The only downside is there’s no air con & the fan we had wasn’t helping.
We stayed here for 1 night so we could catch our cruise the next day. It was only a few miles to the docks and this was the closest Premier Inn that had onsite parking - so that's why we chose this one over a closer Premier Inn to the docks. The guy behind the desk was super helpful & nice. The room was clean & tidy - the only downfall was no aircon. We had 2 fans in the room but it was still like a sauna. Come night time it was cooler outside than in the room. Breakfast was very pleasant
Stayed here to visit Peppa Pig World with our granddaughter and great granddaughter. The rooms were clean and all the staff were friendly and helpful. We were given adjoining rooms, as requested. Special mention must go to Sharon in the breakfast room. Our great granddaughter is autistic and found the noise overwhelming, as there were so many children there. Sharon kindly found us a table in the corner just outside the main area. It worked a treat and we were all able to enjoy our breakfast.
Lovely premier inn! Room nice and clean, staff very friendly and good location. Ate in the breakfast room, was a little busy due to school holidays but the breakfast team were on it with ensuring the buffet was constantly topped up and tables were clean ready for the next guests. Reception team also lovely when checking us in. Have stayed here a few times and always felt welcome each time. Special thanks to Sharon, Summer and Ali!
Thankyou for having us. We will be back next time!
