Staff at both the hotel and pub were so so friendly and helpful, I couldn’t fault them at all. It’s my first solo hotel stay and their friendliness really helped to put me at ease.
The room was clean and in perfect condition
Booked for a four night stay at around 18.30 the guest above started doing some kind of work out. Lots of jumping around and running on the spot. This went on for an hour as it wasn’t late just turned the tv up.
At around 04.30 thought the ceiling was coming down unbelievable. Managed to get hold of the member of staff who thankfully went and stopped this fitness fanatic.
On leaving for the day the nice lady on reception said they have spoken to the gentleman. Unfortunately he is booked in for the week.
She said the duty manager is going to ask the gentleman to move onto ground floor room this way he can’t disturb anyone.
Well obviously the duty manager ignored my complaint. Same happened that night some people have no consideration for others.
Packed up and headed somewhere else.
Week manager who obviously doesn’t care about the guests who stay at this hotel.
Top it off dirty towels and stains on the bedding.
Lovely hotel, friendly staff, spotless clean as was the room, bed really comfy and brewers fayre was great too, would stay here again
Premier inn really let them selves Down in my book. Rooms are no longer serviced unless you request it ( just to save money)
The heating or air con is intermittent the Wi-Fi is on/off, hard to work with no email, It just seems it’s a save money thing. Rooms are basic ( don’t look under the bed). Just feel they are not giving what it says on the tin. I still stay in premier inn because my company thinks they are looking after their people. just to say the staff are lovely and work hard so nothing against them. I would ask that the bigger bosses in this Co to up their game and stop putting the front line to take the slack. A team needs leaders and your people need to support the front line staff. Sorry for the rant but I stay with you guy often.
Only stayed for one night passing through the area, the guy on check in was super helpful, even asked if help was needed with luggage, room was usual premier inn standard.
Hotel was great value for money. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful and there was plenty of parking. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is that the room didn’t have air conditioning and when we went the room was very hot and only had a fan in the room so wasn’t able to cool the room down. Otherwise was great.
Lovely clean hotel, friendly team even with our late time of arrival. Had a really tasty breakfast in the Brewers Fayre and free parking.
Thanks for a great night's sleep and a lovely stay
The front door staff are very friendly and helpful. Relaxing atmosphere.
Clean room and comfortable bed, which is important. Had a good breakfast.
Unfortunately there was a power cut. Despite having no electricity or water, the receptionists booked us into the hotel.
Despite having mobility problems, the receptionist stated I had to climb 5 floors to my room on the top floor.
There was no opportunity to wash or change, or even use the toilet, as there was no water.
There was probably a huge risk to health and safety as people with mobility problems would not have been able to go down the stairs.
There was a lairy alcoholic in reception who had come from the Weatherspoons pub, and eventually 2 policemen.
The receptionist stated I was manned by 3 young people who hadn’t got a clue what to do. It appears there was no policy about what to do in a power cut. They refused to find another hotel for me and refused to give a refund.
I will never stay at this hotel again, despite regularly travelling to Swindon
Lovely staff and good location with easy access to surrounding areas. Unfortunately the rooms were far too hot even when it was cool and cloudy outside which made sleeping difficult and uncomfortable. This would make us hesitant to book this hotel again.
Unbearable in hot weather. The hotel heats up all day and it is impossible to cool at night as the windows do not open enough for ventilation. We stayed for 3 days and it got hotter and hotter each day, as there was nowhere for the heat to escape. At night it was 21 degrees outside and 30+ within the room. Staff were lovely but there was nothing that they could do.
The bed was comfortable. Lot of parking. Restaurant was nice and easy to get a table. I don’t recommend staying here if the weather is hot. They have no air-conditioning units in the rooms. Upon request the give you a plug in fan.
Excellent and quiet hotel, but blimey the rooms were like a sauna . Didn’t sleep too good for sweating all night which was a tad annoying as the Saturday was a long day
Friendly staff and helpful, although could do with better fans in the rooms would stay again if in the area.
We have stayed at this hotel several times and have always been pleased with the stay. We recently had a particularly good experience having tried the ‘meal deal’. The food was superb - thank you Fatima and Marianna! Even though the restaurant was busy, our food was served in good time, was hot and delicious. We were served by Luc - who had also checked us in the previous day - and he was superb. Friendly, super patient, and attentive without being pushy. I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially as they seem to have a really good team working there, which makes all the difference.
We stayed here as a stop over, to visit Oxford, in our way down to Cornwall.
There was ample parking which we were happy with.
The staff on reception were lovely and welcomed us kindly. Check in was quick and easy.
The room was clean, and things in the bathroom were well stocked.
We found the room comfortable and for the price we paid, was very good.
There was a fan in the room, which we appreciated as it was super hot when we arrived.
Overall, I'd recommend this premier inn.
The hotel is typical of the brand but the grounds are unkempt and overgrown. Not much sign of tables being cleared or disinfected in the Beefeater. Had haddock and chips, but the batter was soggy. Hotel gets very hot. Lots of fag ends around the Beefeater. Avoid
Fantastic premier inn from the service to the rooms.
We stayed for a night away the welcome we got from Ally was great very knowledgeable and helpful. The room was spotless and the bed comfortable great night sleep. We had eaten at the outlet as wanted to come and do some shopping. Even the next morning the member of staff thanked us for our stay and hope we have a good day.
We use Kembrey Park about 3-4 times a year, always for a Saturday into a Sunday. It is a typical Premier Inn..... good quality beds. crisp bed linen, good pillows, clean and great staff. We have a family and a double room and they are both the same quality. Our double room this visit was a little 'knocked' about...chipped worktop...but given what we paid we were more than happy and it did not impact our stay. I did note they have changed from Kenco to Nescafe coffee and to PG tips tea. ...IMHO not a good move!
We always see the same receptionist....Mel... and she always remembers us. A true sign of a great member of staff.
We keep returning ....always a good sign. Would recommend as you know what to expect from a premier inn.
We stayed in this hotel around 18 months ago when I believe it had not long opened. Unfortunately the hotel itself has gone downhill in my opinion. The carpets on our floor hallway, were stained and haven’t been maintained. Hallways freezing, broken television by the lifts, drafty windows, cigarette butts in the entrance. On the first morning we opened our curtains to see two dirty sanitary towels right outside the window.
Also the parking situation… what a nightmare! There’s probably less than 30 spaces for the entire hotel unless you want to park elsewhere for around £50 a day you are forced to try and find space in the hotel car park. Still £15 a day for parking, I’ve never stayed in a premier inn where paying guests are expected to pay for parking.
The staff however are the redeeming feature here. Really helpful and attentive, couldn’t do enough for us.
We stayed in Premier Swindon to spend Christmas with family. The staff on Christmas eve put out santa footprints up every hallway, coming in the window and by the front door having eaten the buiscuits they had put out. We also had sweets outside the door. This was so lovely for the children, and so sweet of the person who had to work xmas eve. I don't think a local firm would have gone to that trouble.
