Premier Inn Bedford Town Centre

Have stayed here and Liz and Jo have been fantastic hosts never anything too much trouble. Clean room and bathroom. Also met a friend staying here Michael who thinks the same.

Stayed at the Premier Inn Bedford Town Centre Riverside with my wife and kids and we were really impressed. The room was clean and comfy, the beds were great, and the staff were genuinely friendly. The riverside location was lovely for a quick walk, and the kids absolutely loved the breakfast!

We had a lovely sty at he Bedford town Centre hotel. The staff were really friendly and helped me with booking a taxi. The location is really convenient for Bedford and the breakfast was hot with the option o fresh eggs on request. Only downside is the parking cost.

Included the breakfast during this stay and I wasn’t disappointed! Beautifully cooked full English breakfast with everything you would expect. You could help yourself. Lovely lady called Gemma was on hand to see if I would like a fresh fried egg. Was helped by a lovely lady called Mandy who helped me source some brown bread for my toast. Lots of cold drinks available as well as your usual hot drinks. A lovely young girl called elise helped me to my table as I was trying to juggle a very big plate of food plus drinks. Very clean and a lovely friendly atmosphere. 10/10

Lovely location and the room was very nice with a view , only thing that let this place down is I found the bed not very comfortable, this could just be to individual preference, I can’t comment on the food as I did not have breakfast or a meal

As ever the room is good .However despite best effotrts of staff service is poor due to understaffing . There were only two people covering all roles including reception. Taking orders cooking and serving staff _ This was both friday and saturday nights. And breakfast.

Absolute stinker took 45 mins for starter staff arguing in the hall I’d be embarrassed if that was my staff, not a single positive to say about this place, even had staff swearing at customers who simply asked how long it would be

The reception area smelt of strong body odour and then the room smelt of smoke and sweat - it appeared clan but clearly people have been staying for longer periods of time than the odd night and its in the curtains and carpets it smells like someone's house that smokes. I also didn't feel safe as a female on my own it seems like a hotel mainly for male workers or males in general. Never again would I go there and its put me off premier inn in general now too

Good location
We recently stayed here for 2 nights arriving at 2.20 but had to wait till 3 to check in whether our room was ready or not
Lovely riverside view, apart from 1 or 2 little things the room was clean
First morning for breakfast we were greeted by a nice friendly lady who asked us about allergies, explained everything and asked for room number
Second morning we stood for nearly 15 minutes by the please wait to be seated sign before a different woman came
She only asked room number and would you like an egg.
Lovely breakfast both mornings spoilt by the luke warm coffee (latte and cappuccino) out of the coffee machine
Parking at the recommended nearby multi storey car park was expensive, difficult to work out the total amount to pay for 48 hours and unclear if we would receive a hotel discount after midnight on the Sunday night
We found it easier and much cheaper to park at Melbourne Street West ncp car park 10 mins walk away over the bridge.
But anyway,, good hotel, we enjoyed our stay

This is the best Premier Inn I stayed in. well done! all the staff are so friendly and everything is clean and as you would expect, I got the river view which was worth the money

As a recently diagnosed coeliac, I was really worried about eating breakfast somewhere that wasn’t home. Lorna and the team were absolutely wonderful and I couldn’t have asked for better service. I was given clean cutlery, a lovely lady made me some gluten free toast and Lorna was amazing, serving me my breakfast with separate utensils. I was seriously impressed! A huge thank you and well done to the team and I hope other Premier Inns do the same.

Pop in now and again for breakfast with my girlfriend. Great views and a friendly team. Ask for an omelette if you go at the weekend they’re great :)

You can do better

We managed to get a last minute booking tonight - we had a guest house booked which was terrible so we needed to find a last minute room. Kenan managed to fit us in last minute and went above & beyond for us, we're so grateful. Thank you so much for your great customer service - we will 100% be returning and recommending all our family & friends to stay!

Bed was comfy, room was clean. Was too hot and no option to open the window and no air con. Corridors outside the room has a strange smell but this was not in the room. Breakfast was nice, good selection

Great location , rooms as expected , lovely lady in reception, as were all the staff , very good value for money . I would definitely stay here again

THIS IS THE WORST HOTEL EVER

The hotel is located in a beautiful area. Very walkable.
The room was ok. Here's why I rated it poor. We arrived late and asked for a luggage cart - there were 5 of us traveling with lots of luggage. We were told "we don't offer that service". We didn't ask for someone to take our luggage to our room. The 2 ladies were very nice and helped us but no luggage cart? There was no easy way to unload or load the vehicle. There were no phones in the rooms - couldn't call each other. There was no water in the rooms provided or even an option to purchase water. When turning on the AC, it was incredibly noisy almost to the point wondering if I should call someone to check it. The breakfast for 11 pounds was nothing special. I'd spend a few more pounds and get a great breakfast elsewhere. Found 2 nice places to eat that were incredible - the Turkish place next door - phenomenal. TKMaxx across the street was handy to pick up some forgotten things. The parking is located in a garage right next door to TKMAXX. Not sure on the daily rate but each time we left it was around 15 pounds. i would not stay here again.

The building and room was very clean. Checkin was quick with the self checkin service. Only problem is the walls are paper thin I could hear the room above coughing and the room next to me talking and giggling most of the night.
