Premier Inn Letchworth Garden City

Letchworth…….This is an excellent Premier inn, our room was exceptionally clean, fresh and welcoming. Although on the main road. Our room was very quiet couldn’t hear any passing traffic. We had a very good 3 night stay and if in Letchworth again will Definitely stay here again. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Thank You Letchworth. .

Comfortable and super clean room and bathroom. Comfy beds and an overall nice and quiet atmosphere. We spent 3 nights there during the week and the staff was so kind and friendly. They gave a surprise gift to my daughter and we were so touched!

This was the best budget hotel experience ever! Yes, the mattresses are superb as are the linens and pillows and the showerhead with great water pressure. The staff is friendly, accomodating and great fun and certainly the location cannot be better.

Breakfast offered everthing one could want. Will be back!!!!

Location and price perfect for my needs.
Sadly room had overpowering smell of body odour. Like a rugby changing room. Windows were secured and did not open to ventilate room.

Quiet, clean, comfortable. Friendly staff. Walking distance from station and very good cafes. Recommend and will stay there again if needed.

Stayed at this Premier Inn with my daughter and grandchildren as we were visiting family nearby. The family room was lovely and spacious. Check in was swift and easy with a very friendly woman. Breakfast on the 2 days was very nice, lots of choice and again very friendly staff who engaged with the children. My grandson requested dippy egg from the chef which was perfectly cooked. Parking in the nearby station was easy and just a few minutes walk away. Would definitely stay here again.

Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Room very clean as well as facilities.
Had good night's rest.
Would be happy to stay again when staying in Letchworth.

Great hotel! Close to train station and shopping area. Rooms are on the smaller side so not suitable for longer stays but great for 2-4 nights. Beds are comfortable and staff are great! Only con would be the free internet is painfully slow

stayed one night here while visiting family. Hotel right in the heart of the town and close to restaurants, bars, shops. Friendly staff, clean room. Jave stayed before and will again. Highly recommend

Reception looks downright shabby with broken check in equipment and keycard drop box sellotaped together. Nobody on reception, door to office wide open revealing disgusting state of room. Someone (friendly nevertheless) not in uniform checked us in after checking with an invisible person around the corner where to find our key. Room was clean, and quiet as requested. However it was looking a bit old and dowdy, as was the bathroom. Loud squeak on door, old fashioned shower curtain over a bathtub. No hangers. The pillow menu bag was soaking wet underneath - condensation? Perhaps housekeeping should be checking this. Also there was only one large and one small towel for two people. We would have reported this to staff if we had seen anyone on reception the whole time we stayed there. Luckily it didn’t really matter as we didn’t spend much time in the hotel. The cost was high in comparison to the standard we would normally expect from Premier Inn.

Basic room with a comfy bed.
I was attending a wedding, and the room had plenty of well lit mirrors for dressing.
Noticed if you turn all lights off except the one across the headboard,it enhances TV viewing.
There were 2 false fire alarms the first night. Apparently,their smoke detectors are so sensitive that shower steam and deodorant spray set them off. Better safe than sorry,
I guess.
Great location and close to city centre. Letchworth is a very nice place with a great variety of shops and markets all within a 10-minute walk.
Would give the Wetherspoons a miss. Poor service and overly noisy.

I needed to amend a previous booking to accommodate both myself and my daughter, and the staff handled the change immediately and with genuine kindness—thank you.

The room and bathroom were impeccably clean, and the beds were large, fluffy, and exceptionally comfortable.

A warm, refreshing shower followed by a proper cup of tea made for the perfect start to the day.

The room was a tad small, would have enjoyed more space. But, it was clean and comfortable.
The hotel staff was superb! Ann, Leanne and all the front desk people , cook, cafe staff were beyond wonderful!!! I would stay here again and recommend this hotel for their superior service and attitudes! Lovely people!!!!!

We went to letchworth premier inn for the formula one weekend and we had one of the nicest stays, the staff are super friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and spacious and the restaurant is really good value for money

Tried calling 4 times to enquire about breakfast and every time no response. Bad service. Would recommend picking up the phone when it rings!

Excellent for the price. The manager or man behind the front desk is rude, and needs to learn to understand this is a professional customer facing job, but other than that, good hotels clean and excellent for the price

The staff are very warm and friendly and you can’t go wrong with a Premier Inn breakfast! Great location, and although there is no car park, there are a few nearby that are easily walkable! The hotel is clean, quiet and comfortable, and I slept very well both nights I was there, I would highly recommend.

Friendly staff, easy check-in, clean and comfortable room, plenty of space, temperature controlled room. Great location. It would be great if parking was actually provided. Great service. Would highly recommend. I recommend parking at Letchworth station or the Wynd car park, depending on arrival and departure times. The parking suggested by PI is not appropriate.
