Great food - burgers were great and the chips were fantastic
Great hospitality
Very well looked after
Clean and very nice rooms
First time staying at the Uckfield premier Inn.
right from the start of my stay was greeted by friendly and accommodating staff in particular Fern, throughout my time at this hotel she helped on a couple occasions.
Problem was solved immediately when my original room had a broken toilet.Fern moved me to another room
The room I had was very clean , bed comfortable and great value for money.
Good nights sleep!
Nearby is M&S costa and home bargains which I visited.
public transport on the doorstep to centre of Uckfield with plenty more shops, restaurants and bars.
Will be back very soon!
We had a terrible Airbnb experience that left us exhausted and ready to give up and head home. Then we found the Premier Inn in Uckfield at the last minute, and honestly, it felt like the Holy Grail of accommodation after our prior experience!
The hotel itself seems fairly new: spotless, quiet, spacious, and with wonderfully attentive staff. A special shout-out to Laura, who was absolutely amazing when we arrived at around 11pm, tired and upset. She was kind, reassuring, and really made a difference to our stay.
We had the best night’s sleep and went on to enjoy two brilliant days exploring Sussex and Kent, all thanks to the comfort, welcome and trip reset we received here. To think we nearly jacked it all in before finding this place!
If we’re ever back in the area, we will make a point of staying here again. Thank you so much to the team, and especially Laura.
Arrived at Hotel just after 21.30 to be told the Kitchen was closed ,which was disappointing as we had travelled from Jersey ,so had a pint and packet of Nuts for dinner ,room was tidy and clean ,
Breakfast was buffet style so look warm .
Thanks wouldn't rush back there,
Great place to stay, always clean and staff are really helpful but avoid room 18 as on my recent two night stay something in there turns the tv on randomly in the night so you are woken up!! 👻
Went to the premier inn Uckfield for breakfast with our grandchildren today. It was lovely, clean and very friendly service, in particular from a young lady called Louise. Will definitely go again.
Comfortable stay, quiet and room was clean. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Lots of parking, do have to pay but it's only £4 for 24hrs.
a very clean and comfortable stay
Receptionist needs customer service training she is very abrupt bordering on rude
This is not my first encounter with this member of staff
We had a great stay at Premier Inn Uckfield. Brilliant service and front of house team very friendly. Room was very clean and with comfy bed.
Receptionist has no customer service at all. Really rude in every interaction I had. My card got frozen so I couldn’t pay for drinks, receptionist could see I tried to sort it but she embarrassed me in front of other guests to the point a couple paid for my order for me. Absolutely shocked at the attitude of staff as I work in hospitality myself
Good hotel in a quiet location. Generous eve meals. Cleanist premier inn we've stayed in and family room was large. Would recommend.
Good location with good parking. Staff very friendly and attentive. Breakfast and evening meals very good. We would definitely use this hotel again and will be recommending it to friends and family.
Not a bed nights sleep. Rooms clean. Food basic but ok . Situated next to M & S food hall so ideal for snacks and drinks. If you want a taxi don't use Uber. If you want a late taxi always pre book earlier in the day.
Average, check in machine not working. Rubbish under bed, had to wait to be greeted by staff at breakfast, so just walked in to the restaurant. Breakfast was cold. Seems there are no staff to welcome and interact with guests.
1st night room very clean helpful evening staff check in and breakfast next morning , wish the car parking cheaper for one night £4 !! And use a parking company
2nd night late.booking late check in just before midnight, wasn't expecting to have to stay again , the room a hair found on duvet we hadn't used , a hair in bathroom in Bath. Bit black mould in corner of Bath silicone nearest taps and shower. Apart from that comfortable sleep in both beds and rooms were clean .
During breakfast, my daughter accidentally placed a croissant into the turntable toaster, which caused it to catch fire. While I acknowledge this was an error, I feel it’s important to mention that my daughter is autistic and has difficulty with reading, which contributed to the misunderstanding.
What was more upsetting, however, was the response from the staff afterward. Several team members appeared to be making comments and continued to stare at our table, which made us feel extremely uncomfortable and judged during what was already a stressful moment.
We’ve always appreciated the welcoming environment of Premier Inn, but this experience left us feeling disappointed. I would be grateful if you could address this issue with the team to ensure future guests—especially those with additional needs—are treated with understanding and respect.
Super premier inn right near to the lovely Bluebell railway. All staff went out of their way to be helpful. A****
Would recommend
A well-maintained, welcoming, clean and quiet hotel.
Lovely mattress and four pillows with additional bedding as well, if you need it. Great air-con, acceptable water-force in the shower, fluffy absorbent towels, decent hair-dryer, good light-excluding window curtain and very good lighting levels in the room which was carpeted throughout.
Good quality and non-rickety desk and chair. Lots of clothes hangers, bedside areas for cups/glasses/books/knick-knacks, oh, and quite a plush carpet throughout.
Good security - key-card operated locks required to enter the bedroom block and floors.
Elysia and Alisha made me feel really welcome, food was amazing, everywhere was unbelievably clean and I felt so comfortable here. Staff are a credit to this hotel and Tui was especially amazing. Thank you Uckfield, I will return when I'm next working this way 😀
Really comfy bed. Brilliant nights sleep. Nice clean room with good wifi.
Staff pleasant and helpful. I would happily stay again. Only thing to let the stay down was the breakfast. A nice cooked breakfast instead of
pre-cooked self service which was not good.
