Had a great overnight here from the very warm welcome to checking out late morning. The room was brilliantly designed. Small but really comfortable, quiet, and had everything you might need. Great shower and decent hairdryer too.
Plenty of choice at breakfast which was good value and staff were smiling and helpful.
The area feels very safe and it’s super convenient for multiple tube stations as well as shops should you need to buy anything. Highly recommend.
Excellent location, close to Bank tube station but off the main road so quiet at night. Clean comfortable room and friendly, polite staff. The room was small but well designed with space for hanging clothes and a small desk. Ideal for a short stay and great value for money.
Small but perfectly formed.
Extremely comfortable, tiny bedroom. Friendly staff. Everything as you’d expect other than a filthy carpet that needs to be replaced. (Room 205). Quiet despite being in the heart of the City. My room overlooked a courtyard containing trees - an added bonus. It’s v close to Cannon St and Bank underground stations. Has a Pret a Manger nearby as well as a Sainsbury’s local 5 mins away. It’s 5 mins walk from St Paul’s and the Millennium Bridge.
The hotel is a bit tricky to find as the lane it’s on is unobtrusive. Hold your nerve!
Unlike standard Premier Inns it’s not a completely dark room as the electrics are controlled by a touch panel in the headboard. Take an eye mask if this is an issue for you.
I’d definitely stay here again.
We have stayed at Premier Inn Hub hotels before so knew what we were getting, and this one didn't disappoint. I'm glad we opted for the larger room because I think the smaller one would have been a bit too small for both of us, but the larger one, though on the smaller side compared to other hotels, was just fine for a one night stay. The room was very clean and modern, and the downstairs reception area was nice too. We arrived a little early for check in but were kindly allowed to check in a little before 3pm. The only thing I wasn't too keen on was the glass door to the bathroom as it didn't provide much of a sound barrier! It's worth noting for others that there is no coffee and tea facility in the rooms but you can go downstairs to get some instead at no charge. There were two bottles of water in the room, which was handy for us as I don't drink hot drinks anyway. The hotel is very close to Bank underground station, and all in all it made a great base for our stay.
The location was convenient near two underground and one trail station. And there's pretty much everything you need near hotel like tesco, MS Food, Pharmacy, etc.. The room was clean. The service was kind and warm. And the Breakfast was great. I had a very nice 7 days.
Very good hotel...almost excellent. Superb location, friendly staff, good rooms and unlike its 'Premier Inn' big brother you get a better shower in Hubs (still not enough pressure), proper toilet rolls and a couple of bottles of water. Breakfast was disappointing, usually a benefit of Hubs as there's no fuss, just the stuff that I want to eat for £8 which is great value. However on my first morning there were no free tables so I had to take my breakfast, already not that warm, up four floors to eat in my bedroom. The following morning I was told at 1000 that they had just finished which was odd as their website suggested they offered breakfast until 1100. There are breakfast menus in the rooms...why not mention breakfast times on them? It isn't good enough to say "you would have been told on arrival"; lots of things were said on arrival after a long and busy journey. However this is a really good hotel in a fab location and I would definitely stay here again (and get down earlier for their incredibly good breakfasts).
This is my second stay at this Premier hub. as a solo female traveller, I felt very safe here which is why I chose to stay again. The staff are really friendly, and the room is really clean, modern and although I visited in August I found the air-conditioning to be very good
I really like the set up of the Premier Inn hub rooms, although I think they would be more of a squeeze for Two.
I had breakfast on both mornings which, despite being a smaller offer than the main Premier Inn hotels were still really good. I also liked that I could help myself to tea and coffee at any time (note there’s no tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms.)
Great location, I stayed here and did a lot of sightseeing and found the local tube networks really helpful. I also enjoyed a solo evening walk around the city. I cannot rate this highly enough and we will be staying again.
Convenient location
The central location is very good, as is the breakfast (very generous and offering both sweet and savory options).
The staff is friendly and polite, but not very helpful when it comes to requesting extra items for the room. Twice I asked for things I needed for my room, and both times, after being assured that they would be brought to my room, I had to go down and get them myself at the reception desk.
Finally, the room is very small, too small for two people, and the bathroom is made of glass and located in the middle of the room. As a result, there is no privacy, and it would have been better if this information had been clearly stated during the booking process.
Yes, the rooms are a bit bijou (i.e. small) but for a short stay the hotel is very well placed for shops (Boots, M&S food, Sainsbury's etc) and very close to stations (rail & underground). The staff are great and the whole place is so quiet. Hard to believe you're in London. We opted for breakfast which was good (and good value at £8) and bottomless! Highly recommended.
So the rooms are small but they’ve been well thought out which is perfect for a decent place to crash.
The rooms are ultra modern, very clean, bed is comfortable, shower is excellent and the aircon a god send.
Breakfast is decent and the staff very helpful and polite
If all the hubs are like this one then I’ll start using instead of premier/travelodge etc
I was very impressed
They have very bad air conditions in the room ... The room is really small, even then they don't get cold.. You'll start sweating if you are simply packing your luggage. At night, the air condition stop cooling the room. I had to visit reception on 2 consecutive nights to ask what is the issue... After checking, the receptionist told me that it was automatically set to 28 and it stopped cooling the room.. Even though, they told me we have set it to 19, there was a slight change in the room temperature...
Other than this A/C issue, hotel location is good. Free coffee is also available throughout the day.
The hotel is absolutely lovely, room was great for what we needed. However, we did not get an ounce of sleep because our room was 26 degrees. My husband went downstairs at 4 in the morning to ask if our A/C was broken and the man told us it was at 26 degrees and shouldn’t be that hot! Told us he fixed it and it should work but it didn’t, both ended up sitting down in reception drinking glasses of ice cold water in their nice cold a/c until the sun came up. We were booked in for 2 nights but absolutely could not stay a second night so actually stayed at a different hotel nearby which had great air con. We were told to use the fan in our room but all that did was blast the hot air around. Paid for 2 nights and only stayed one because of the unbearable heat. My brother was also staying at the hotel and said his room was a lovely temperature.
Really can’t fault this hotel!
Yes, the room is small, but it was smart and clean and we had everything we needed. We booked a king size room, bed was really comfy. Blackout blinds very effective! Clever use of space - loved the mini wardrobe behind the full length mirror. A proper hairdryer too!! The lights and air con all controlled by a very easy to use panel above the bed. Shower good too!
There is a nice little bar in reception, and the breakfast they offer is simple but very good value.
The staff were friendly and welcoming too.
It was a really good stay that me and my boyfriend had. I was suprised how good it was! Breakfast and the super service was so so good! We really don't have any complaints.
Streamline no fuss rooms, that were really comfortable and had full air-conditioning/heating, a welcoming atmosphere in the centre of the city close to St Paul’s and just across the Thames from the tate modern and borough market. And 2 minutes walk from the underground station
Stayed here for 2 nights and really happy with it. Would definitely stay here again.
The rooms are small but that is expected with it being a hub version of premier inn. Perfectly fine for two people just using it as a base and not spending lots of time in the room. Bed was really comfortable. There is plenty of storage under the bed and 5 hangers for clothes. Bathroom was good standard, with nice powerful shower. Everything was perfectly clean.
The breakfast was great for £8 each. Just a smaller version of the standard premier inn breakfast.
Location was great. 2 minute walk to Bank underground station and 10 minute tube to Kings Cross. Easy 10-15 minute walking distance to Borough Market and Tower Hill areas, as well as Liverpool Street.
Not much open in the area on a Sunday afternoon / evening.
Nice hotel, great staff, clean and functional but it was way too hot in the room. The air con said it could take it down to 19degrees but the air was not cool, we reported it to reception several times and they were very amiable but could do nothing about it, no window to open so had no choice but to leave the door to the hallway open, it would definitely stop me staying there again, especially in summer, which is a shame because everything else was great!
Massive bed, very clean, super central. Ideal for our short stay. The staff were friendly and it was overall pretty quiet for being so centrally located. Tea and coffee aren't available in the room but they are available in the lobby free of charge. Also no fridge in the room - not a big deal but good to know if you're wanting a cold beer or wine.
I thought this was going to be very basic and the room tiny, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. Staff were all really friendly and happy to help - storing bag in the day and also the next day, filling up my water bottle - nothing was too much trouble. Complimentary coffee and fruit was a nice touch too. Room was basic, but had everything we needed and was big enough for a one night stop over in London. Super comfy bed.
