Ututu Stay West

Overall, it is a nice stay in Philly.
At first, it is a little hard to contact the staff, but in the afternoon, the staff contact me from another number. I think they should change the phone number in automatic message after booking ( I called the number a couple of times, no one reply, but new number has a good connection!).
Then, the hotel is very clean, more than expected.
Bathroom is a little small, but that's fine.
The property needs some deposit (~200). And I got refund one day after checking out. That's great!
In all, I think it is an affordable place to stay near UPenn.

I booked this property and when I arrive to the property, there was somebody else in my room. The property tried to give a room in another neighborhood ( not a nice one). I asked for my money back and they didn't give my money back. Expedia & The Property colluded. Do not stay here.

They didn’t give me the code at 3 pm and I walked away then he told me he’ll refund but he didn’t so I didn’t stay and I paid 200$ at the same time there’s double booking

Close to subway, 10 minutes from Central City so that was convenient. A house broken in separate rooms, no book to explain how things work, or where to find the laundry without searching the whole house. Room was poorly checked before I moved in, blinds were tied up allowing sunlight to stream in and wake me up early, and air conditioning unit only had a working fan. Toilet was the craziest I have ever seen, you have to step over it and your knee pushes up against the heater grate, and cleaning yourself requires standing up. Shower head is wrong type and it is angled to hit the outside of the shower pan when you turn it on, so the bath mat is permanently wet and the floor gets flooded. Smoke detector was missing, they said a previous tenant must have taken it, but again, was the room not checked before I moved in? Not sure what the other rooms were like, I was in room E, at the front, so with the blinds issue you had a streetlight hitting you in the eyes when laying down in bed. Nice enough, but seems nobody cared enough about making sure everything was working as expected, and then it took me chasing people up to try and get things fixed while I sweated like a pig in the room in 100 degree weather.

The inside of property was clean , but there was no air conditioning the bathroom floods when you take a bath. This property is in the worst part of Philadelphia the west side and in the getto .

First off, the host was extremely rude. Second, it’s in an extremely unsafe area and i feared for my life. The pictures did not depict the stay truthfully and there was no light whatsoever. I’d like a refund

Lovely stay!

Nice property but i had no face towels upon arrival.. the shower was rather small and water got everywhere they need a better shower curtain.. overall the stay was ok !!

Great use of space, not enough towels, or wash clothes for 2 people but overall great stay.

The property has met my highest expectations.

Very clean property and comfortable room.

The owner responded quickly and warmly. Room is clean and functional.
