Most of the staff was very accommodating, fairly close to convention center and restaurants, nice rooftop, meal (salmon) I had first day for lunch was abysmal. Area is across from bus terminal and is unpleasant.
I loved everything about this hotel (location, friendliness of the staff, vibe, use of space, etc.) except the mattress. I’m unsure if it was really a king-sized bed in the room (seemed smaller) and it was the firmest I’ve slept on in a long while. I have a Sleep Number bed at home, and this felt like it was north of 100 on hardness. That’s the only reason I didn’t give it five stars.
I loved it. The rooms were chic and cute I am definitely coming back. But be aware that you do have to pay for parking $35-45
My Expedia reservation with Home2Suites in Charlotte was not honored so i had to find something quickly. The Moxy is not in a desirable part of Charlotte. The bus station across street has a recurring announcement going on all night. The room was fine except for the flashing smoke detector. That was annoying and disturbed my sleep.
Homeless and dirty transit area
High crime
Terrible location for Moxy
Dangerous looking individuals everywhere and security is unarmed.
Good location
Staff was amazing upon arrival!! Room was very clean and they had everything we needed!
Convenient City Center location with a view! The staff was great - so helpful and accommodating. And check-in was a breeze. . Valet parking was very responsive and efficient . The outdoor gathering area was wonderful- and included lots of seating ,games, big screen tv etc. And a beautiful view of the city. There was also a nice variety of snacks for purchase as well as a limited but good menu if you didn’t want to go out.
The rooms are minimally furnished in a very modern quirky style. The bed was comfortable. The downside is that there were no bedside tables, closet or dresser - - just rows of hooks along the wall. And the bathroom was pretty small and offered very little counter space.
Excelent overall experience. Valet and check in personelI had an amazing experience overall! The valet and check-in staff were fantastic.
I love the staff; they were super chill, kid, friendly, and very accommodating! This is literally the only hotel I will go from here on out and I’m a platinum member!!!! Oh & my daughter lovesssss the complimentary candy lol
Love

I try to stay at every Moxy location in different cities that I travel to. This Moxy was very beautiful and clean! I am not a fan of the daily wifi charge. That was unexpected - I don't think I've ever stayed in a hotel (especially as pricey as Moxy) and had to pay for Wifi. Overall it was a nice stay and the staff were very friendly.
Paying $10 for internet access seems excessive, and parking is expensive (but that's to be expected at a downtown location).
Moxy rooms are designed to be hip, and this location was no exception. However the smoke detector's blinking light lite up the entire room. For anyone sensitive to bright lights at night, this was challenging to sleep through.
