Good location
Place was clean in both the bedroom and bathroom. Mattress was not so good.
Would not suit a stay for anyone looking for a quiet night.
Wonderful for a good price, great location stop over in Brighton.
Don't stay here. Just don't. The list of negatives is just too long...
The reception has no one there full of junk in the lobby, old dirty and smelly reminds me of bates motel (horror) i could not believe how bad it was just wanted to get up and go home, they provide a kettle but no cups/cutlery they have a shower but no hot water windows are so bad toilet seat dont fit so i paid for a bed basically i can definitely say i would never return, they need to knock the place down and re do it in my opionion, cant be charging these prices for a place like this i stayed at a different hotel night before much cheaper place and staff was so lovely clean tidy rooms and everything provided ,overall not happy
Very poor, just a bed in a room, kettle stank and no cups or anything to make a coffee. Dirty carpet, very old and musky smell. Bathroom poor and stained. I would not recommend and definitely not worth £77. Personally this hotel should not be open.
A kettle.but no cups, no plug to be anle to have a bath and generally quite dirty. Having said that- i would go again but take a plug and a cupnas the location was perfect
It was a very comfortable bed
My partner paid over £200 for 2 nights. It was not worth that kind of money. It was dingy, filthy and looked like a crack den. There was no TV a kettle but no cups or tea/coffee. No plug for the sink in the bathroom the toilet seat wasnt attached, toilet roll holder had been broken off the wall and not forgetting the bed which was as uncomfortable as a wooden slab. Utterly disgusting and a total ripoff for the value. Do NOT stay here its not worth a penny!!
It was just a bed to sleep
This hotel is not true reflection of what advertised, i was so traumatised to notice that this hotel is called Church Hotel under the banner of Seaside Hotel, very very dirty, dusty and not cleaned, stinking corridor and smelly rooms back view unbearable, unfortunately i had to find another hotel room instead and could not use or re-enter this hotel again until i returned to drop off key next day. This hotel advert is misleading and health and safety need to be involved and inspect this property. They also dont refund and room was very very dirty and not worth £108 per night. i would advise people or other people not to be victims like i did. i can share a few picture i took as evidence to justify my review and show how the advert is misleading. I felt robbed of my £108 per night and i had just booked for 1 night
I'm sorry, it can't be called a hotel! It's a horror, I'm sorry, I've never stayed in a place like this.
no staff in the whole property and common washrooms no cleaniness,no mirror in the room,i didnt expect expedia will show such properties ,be
Well where do start
When arriving at the hotel was put upon the top floor that was so hot in the room could not breathe so did change the room was pretty much the same but not as bad.
Found out later on the heating was on why would you have heating on midsummer well i didn't get no sleep due to being in the middle of a few pubs and clubs the room was far from clean
Verry dirty wass blood on cushion
AWFUL!!!! over £150 for one night!!!! Ive seen cleaner public toilets. shower so terrible I left without a show
Terrible hotel and awful management. Bedsheets had hairs all over them and were visibly creased - clearly had not been washed. Bathroom full of bodged fixes, mould and dust all round. This hotel screams of a management who care so little for the guests that they wouldn't spend a penny on improving the rooms, this attitude is evident in the dreadful rooms. Avoid!
The place is very dirty
Quick, clean and efficient.
It is really central, but because the building is very old there is no soundproofing. Poor windows. The music from the bar opposite went on til 3am. With people shouting and singing waking down the road.
The fire alarm then went off at 3.30am so we evacuated downstairs. There was Noone working at the hotel so after 30 mins with nothing happening went back to our room in 4th floor. Felt very uncomfortable with only one central staircase in an old building. If there was a fire I’m not sure we would have got out.
Start alarm morning 3am nobody for supervison
