A delightful stay! The property is immaculate and the renovations on this historical hotel are great. The service was wonderful, friendly, and attentive. The room and bed were very comfortable. I travel often for work and this hotel is undoubtedly one of the nicest I've stayed in this year.

The neighborhood around the hotel is lovely. The hotel itself is a little awkward. The entry and registration desks are quite a ways from the rooms. There is a bar and restaurant. The bar is lovely. The restaurant space is in a closed off space and not comfortable.

The rooms are overpriced and not as nice as other lower end chain hotels. With the exception of the location, there are much better options.

There was no shower caps for ladies. There was no information in room about services offered in the room.The carpet in this place was totally awful. I could not get a copy of the bill for my review of the charges. I will never use this place again!

I stayed there for 7 nights with my son before he moved in to his dorm at UIUC. We both liked the hotel a lot. It has a spacious gin with free weights, strength machine and treadmills. The bar lounge and restaurant are very comfortable and have a special ambience. Free parking. Very close to the UI campus. Highly recommended.
