Great stop at The Green Lodge
Pros:

Dinner at the restaurant is fantastic! The Chocolate tour (5 min walk) was a great mid morning tour and very interesting - make and eat your own chocolate! The walk up to La Fortuna was challenging so ask for a ride of you need one. The owner was incredibly helpful and was able to get me a day pass to Baldi Springs for the locals rate :)

Pros:

We stayed for 2 nights and absolutely loved it. Check-in was extremely easy, the free breakfast was fresh and service was great. The AC was great and staff responds super fast using their WhatsApp. Location is amazing as it’s super close to El Salto and the waterfall but avoids the noise of downtown La Fortuna. The rain also sounded amazing on the roof at night. They also have private access to a river! Perfect location if you are looking for a stay in nature that still has the comfort of a resort.

Tuvimos una experiencia muy bonita, todos los empleados fueron muy atentos y amables. La localización perfecta en el centro y cerca de todo. Restaurante muy bonito, el servicio y la comida excelente. Vimos muchos animales en los alrededores

Pros:

Tout était parfait, superbe hotel dans la nature, avec des animaux et un decors sublime. On y a passé 4 jours et on le recommande a 100%. Seul petit bémol, l'eau chaude est plus tiède.

Pros:

We had a great time! We went with the superior bungalow. It was truly like being in the rainforest. You could hear the animals every morning and night. The plants and flowers were gorgeous and the land is well maintained. The staff is super friendly and accommodating.
My only suggestion would be to add blackout curtains to the already existing curtains, but everything was perfect!
