Nice and clean room…friendly neighborhood…:)
Although the neighborhood around is quite cute. It has a lot to offer. This hotel is a bit of a mixed bag. It is rather inexpensive for what you get and that’s why you would get it in the first place. Another plus is that it is located in district 3, which has a lot of interesting restaurants and nightlife. The hotel is located next to a school, but the rooms are kept pretty quiet. The rooms are in decent shape since they have been renovated. There is no elevator. The shower in my room was basically the corner of a tiny room. Every time you use it and you splash water all over the toilet. I get the fact that they had to think creatively to turn very small spaces into hotel rooms that are decent. But the bad thing was: The room had so many ants that I had to tell them that I couldn’t keep food around. The front door is pretty much locked at all times. There is one young man who basically is a doorkeeper. And you basically have to ring the door for someone to open the door for you.
The place was clean, and the bed sheets and blankets were freshly changed when I arrived – I absolutely loved that. Some accommodations in Ho Chi Minh City, probably to save costs, don’t do this, and I’ve had quite a few bad experiences because of it. Here, I completely loved it. The host was kind, and the staff were always smiling and helped me a lot. I truly had a very comfortable stay here.
