Gran Hotel Panamericana Merida

Staff is very nice and helpful. In the room that was given TV, fridge and telephone didn’t work. Another room was given per my request. But we didn’t enjoy to move all our belongings after we were already installed. The second room was a bit smaller than the first one. Don’t know the reason. The website shows one double room size only.

Grosses Hotel, war früher Domilzil einer Gutsbesitzerfamilie, d.h. es ist z.T. alt und dann wieder modern. Ich habe die Mischung sehr spannend gefunden. Toller Sitzbereich neben dem Pool, wo auch das Morgenessen in Buffetform stattfindet.
Die Zimmer sind komfortabel und modern ausgestattet. Riesiger Parkplatz und zu Fuss in ein paar Minuten im Zentrum.

Creo que se puede mejorar el desayuno, ya que no cambian el menú, podrían servir desayuno típico por ejemplo, y una cafetera en la habitación estaría genial

Great hotel close to everything and so charming. Comfortable beds. The upgrade to a suite is worth the money. Guierrmo at the front desk is amazing and so helpful. We would stay here again.

El hotel está en restauración, el edificio principal lo mantienen limpio, remodelado, mezcla modernidad con tradición. La atención y la limpieza son impecables. El desayuno es básico pero cumple su función.

Large rooms, very clean good service, walking distance downtown, good breakfast, need details like large mirror inside rooms . Recomended

The room was clean but last personality. As a US citizen we wash our bodies with washcloths in the hotel did not have any for 2 days. I was very awkward taking a shower with a hand towel. The architecture of the lobby was a beautiful. The continental breakfast wasn't good. And recommend having more variety

Me gustó que está muy centrico

Excelente ubicación y atención de los empleados. Hotel muy limpio y se ve que le están invirtiendo en renovaciones.. El que ofrezcan el estacionamiento gratuito es una excelente opción para cuando rentas auto o llevas el propio. El desayuno está adecuado.

La habitación

Hotel is good but not excellent. Very nice lobby and 6 floors. Super slow elevators, Did not get the VIP perks from Expedia. Rooms are spacious and recently remodeled. AC excellent and consistent hot water. Room lacks some amenities like a coffee maker and drinking glasses.Smart TV worked well. Buffer breakfast was decent but they could add some bacon or sausages and serve real juice not powdered. Staff were excellent. Odd that such a large hotel has no store, no restaurant and no bar. Hotel is about 8 blocks from the Grand Plaza and the area is walkable and safe. Overall 4/5.

Everything was great! The breakfast, the hospitality, the location, and overall the hotel itself was beautiful.

It's close to the el centro of mérida. They have parking if you rent a car. Breakfast was good.
