Tivoli Estela Golf & Lodges Porto

We were fortunate enough to spend a week at Tivoli Estela Golf Lodges with our two young children, and were completely blown away by the exceptional service and overall quality of the facilities.

We chose this resort for its outdoor layout, which perfectly accommodates families. The outdoor heated pool, playground, paddle courts, spa, and direct access to a beautiful beach were highlights that the kids thoroughly enjoyed.

Our lodge was tastefully designed and functional for a family of four. However, for families with older children, the family cabin with separate sleeping quarters would probably be more suitable.

The cabins were cleaned daily, and we appreciated the flexible cleaning option, which was either a full clean or just rubbish removal and towel replacement. In exchange for opting out of full cleaning, they left us drinks vouchers, which was a nice touch. Plus, we found a little chocolate on our beds each evening, which was a lovely addition.

Although the official children’s club hadn’t opened yet, the resort arranged external entertainment daily from 4pm to 6pm which the kids absolutely loved. Highlights included a bouncy castle water slide, cookie decorating, and a fun bubble/foam party.

Overall, we had a fantastic time and couldn’t fault a single thing. However, what truly stood out to us, was the incredible staff and their customer service. We were always greeted with friendly smiles, and no request was too much trouble.

El hotel está muy bien, la arquitectura y paisajismo muy logrados. Privacidad de cada lodge. Se nota que están arrancando aún. La comida bien, pero algo escasa de opciones. Me ha parecido un poco caro en general. Gran limpieza en general. La piscina me temo que se va a quedar pequeña si el hotel está completo

Das Hotel ist schön angelegt, weitläufig und ruhig.
Das Personal ist freundlich, jedoch unterbesetzt und heillos überfordert. (Uns wurde gesagt, dass es schwer sei Personal zu finden, da das Hotel sehr abgeschieden liegt)

Es sind viele Familien mit Kindern da, die wie wir leider nicht die auf der Homepage versprochenen Installationen nutzen konnten. Es zieht ein kräftiger und kalter Wind durch die gesamte Anlage. Bei Ankunft stellte sich raus, dass die Außenpools entgegen der offiziellen Angaben nicht geheizt sind und der Innenpool nur für Erwachsene geöffnet ist. Das Meer ist kalt und hat am Hotelstrand gefährliche Strömungen, sodass wir keine Möglichkeiten hatten schwimmen zu gehen. Der Kids Club und die Pool Bar werden gerade erst gebaut und Baulärm schallt an den Pool und den Spielplatz.

Dazu kommen Kleinigkeiten, wie dass die Duschen am Pool nicht funktionieren. Es kaum Mülleimer auf der Anlage gibt. Die Zimmer nur Teilgereinigt wurden und an manchen Tagen auch erst um 18:00 Abends.
Am Frühstück gibt es 2 Nespressomaschinen von denen eine keine Milch gezogen hat, sodass lange Schlangen am Kaffe entstehen.
Zudem fordert das Hotel einen an verschieden Stellen zu ,,green choices” auf und nutzt dann aber Kaffe Kapseln…

Die Orte in der Umgebung sind wunderschön und es gibt tolle Restaurants in der Nähe.

Being one of the first guests at this resort was amazing. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The property is absolutely beautiful. The lodges/ cabins was fantastic as it was brand new. As it is brand new there are a few issues with the buggies to/from the reception/parking lot/lodges. Need phone

We came to this fantastic place without expectations and had planned to stay only one night. But the staff was so kind and fantastic that we decided to stay an extra day. We can highly recommend this place if you are looking for high service and beautiful nature
