Hotel con Corazón Monteverde

I had an amazing stay at Hotel Corazon in Monte Verde. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome by giving us a tour of the hotel and telling us the story of how the hotel came to be. Every team member we interacted with were friendly and attentive. We felt at home.
The room was spotless, spacious, modern, clean/new linens, the bed was very comfortable. There was no TV in the room which forced us to go and explore the town.
The breakfast was yummy.
The location was hard to find from the main road but it's understandable because is a new hotel. Going to town was easy, just went down a staired hill.
Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to visit Monte Verde.

Lovely brand new hotel on a hillside overlooking the main center of Santa Elena. Beautiful clean rooms with clean water and bathrooms, new construction, 5 minute walk to town. The hosts are lovely and welcoming, providing advice to guests on all sorts of things. Communal breakfast in the morning is great too! Most of all, this property is run by a non-profit that supports children's education, so it's great to contribute to the cause by staying here.

I have traveled extensively throughout my life, yet at Hotel del Corazon I discovered something truly unique.
The love and dedication poured into this place by the owners, two incredibly humble people who had the courage to follow their dream, have created a beautiful haven in the mountains of Monteverde. Their warmth and genuine kindness left a lasting mark on my heart, and I know I will never forget them or this hotel.

The property is new, with stunning floor-to-ceiling windows framing views of both nature and the pueblo. Every morning, we enjoyed a freshly prepared breakfast, each dish was absolutely delicious. A special thank you to the chef, who so thoughtfully adapted the menu to our dietary needs.

Our room was simple yet full of care and attention to detail, making it feel like home. What moved me even more is that part of the hotel’s earnings go toward supporting the education of local children, a mission I deeply admire.

I wholeheartedly wish Ronald, his wife, and the entire staff all the success they deserve. May the world soon discover you, because you truly are a treasure.
So many places say they want you to feel at home, but here we truly did.

This hotel was perfect for our needs! We needed a room for 3 people and the king bed and twin were perfect and they provided a cute pack and play for the baby as well! The room and bathroom were very clean and spotless and given it’s a newer hotel, all the furniture, plugs and location of conveniences were properly designed. The shower had nice hot water and great water pressure!
The staff was very welcoming and extremely nice. The included breakfast had good options for our party of 6 to have a favorite to choose. The location is very close to town and the only compliant is the noise that travels from the town. We all still slept well and they provided earplugs that came in handy! We would definitely stay here when we return to Monteverde.

Our stay was wonderful, management staff was extraordinary. Customer service was excellent. Breakfast was very refreshing with a wide selection of fresh fruit. I would highly recommend this hotel for both couples and family excursions.

Don’t think twice about this place !! Just book it ! This hotel is not your regular hotel. It’s very special and unique. In a nutshell this hotel is home away from home. I felt like I was on vacation with family. Really! Loved being there. They truly do everything with heart— from warm breakfast, laundry and their mission, Con Corazon is the place to be in Monteverde!! Rooms are very cozy and squeaky clean! Great location, very close to town; ~5-10minutes walk. Every one of the staff members are super friendly, caring and professional especially Alejandra ! She’s very knowledgeable and can give you great recommendations! If you’re not a planner like me, don’t worry, Alejandra can help plan an itinerary for you. Just pack your bags and come; they’ll take good care of you! Pura Vida !

The hotel serves a good cause and needs our help

Hotel con Corazon was truly wonderful - with incredibly friendly staff and close to several parks and reserves within 10-15 minutes. We saw several rare birds and animals - including Quetzals, Toucans, Coatis, a huge number of Blue Morphos and hummingbirds and more. There was a sloth and toucan in the tree right next to the hotel. It was also conveniently located walking distance to restaurants and shops (through the back walkway). The hotel was brand new - everything was immaculate and decoration was in harmony with nature (lots of wood in the rooms and surrounded by plants). The rooms were bright and airy and the room we stayed in was quite large with a king size bed plus a single bed. The breakfast was a full breakfast which is unusual in central America. Highly recommended!

And on such a convenient licatuin in Monteverde. Literally a 2 minute walk to the village centre with the best dining options.

Modern and simple ‘industrial chic’ design, super Breakfast and a Very helpful staff.

And the icing on the cake: It is a social enterprise that invest most of its profits in education projects for the local community. I would surely return.
