Pros:

Amazing stay - the villa was huge, well-equipped, and clean. A separate bedroom balcony & large patio area looked upon a lake and the mountains of Franschhoek - beautiful! We didn't use the pool, but it looked great from a distance.

In-suite laundry was a game changer, and though we didn't use it, the full kitchen could be useful.

I'd say here again in a heartbeat.

Very nice property, exactly like in the pictures. Large, clean and tidy, great safe location less than a mile from the city centre. Host very friendly and very responsive. Would stay here again.

Out of this world quality.

With a sincere, warmer than warm welcome, we
were shown into our one bedroom villa.

Sounds pokey?? Don’t you believe it. Kitchen, two lounge areas, wood burning fire, study, balcony, main bathroom and guest WC. A total of 26 chairs between the two of us. Everything really high quality.

The housekeeping team were first class. They even went to the trouble of emptying the washing machine and hanging out/folding our clean clothes.

Franschhoek itself is a haven of peaceful bliss. Both the town and L’Hermitage Villages highly recommended.

With just one point to make. The property has a hotel area and beyond that, starts the villas. The security guard directed us to “reception” where it became apparent we were not where we needed to be. We needed to in the Villa section (though there is no separate Villa reception). The hotel must get this all the time but the member of staff you dealt with us was as cold as a fish. Poor first impression!!!

Esme, the manager of the Villas on the other hand is superb. Excellent communication via WhatsApp and nothing too much trouble. Thank you Esme and Villa team.

Amazingly beautiful villa

This was the best villa I have ever stayed in. The personal welcome we received was lovely and the villa itself was outstanding. It was spacious, but cozy, with an amazing view. On our 3 week South Africa trip, this was the best place we stayed in. Wifi was excellent. We could get local Italian food delivered to the door. The villa was very central and quiet. And we had our own dedicated parking space.
In short, book this villa...you will not be disappointed!

Pros:

The villa was amazing - awesome views from the patio. It had everything you needed for that stay away from home. It's about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the Franshhoek town centre along a well marked path but Ubers were also plentiful. Esme and the Team really make you feel welcome - I'd definitely stay again.
