Pros:

I was able to reserve a bed thru Expedia, which I needed in order to forward my luggage/backpack by Paq Correos while doing the Camino Frances.

Guest registration was pleasant and efficient at the Albergue Taberna (RestoBar). The dorm was spotless, my luggage had been received in advance of my arrival thru inclement weather.

The woman who is operating the Albergue and Taberna has a lot of work on her shoulders non stop with Pilgrim check-in, questions, requests of all kinds - but she manages to do it all with a quiet patience and a smile. The locals are kind as well if you step back and enjoy the symphony of greetings and friendly banter. I feel like there is a great deal of pride they take in this property along the Camino and for such a small town it’s a beautiful extension of their hospitality.

Full bar, delicious homemade coffee cakes, menu on offer provides good selection and it seems like much of the towns people assemble here during siesta for coffee / a tipple and lively conversation while the children play in the playground / square out front.

In the morning I back tracked to the edge of town for a coffee, OJ and napolitana (pain au chocolat) as the Taberna in the Muni Albergue/Hostal wasn’t open - even though the sign indicated open from 06:00-08:00 … but there were two other places a stone’s throw distance that were open … and many pilgrims just grab something further down the trail. Just a note to be flexible with your plans.

I recommend this place.
