Un séjour inoubliable entre charme et modernité
Pros:

C’est tout simplement l’un des meilleurs hôtels où j’ai eu la chance de séjourner au Portugal, et j’en ai déjà visité beaucoup. La restauration du monument est splendide : l’alliance de l’ancien et du moderne est parfaitement réussie.

Le personnel est remarquable, toujours attentif et chaleureux. J’ai eu la chance d'avoir une suite : la chambre, très spacieuse, offre une literie exceptionnelle et même le lit d'appuis est confortable et ça c'est très rare, mon fils fait + 1,80m et à bien dormi .

Les petites attentions font vraiment la différence : cadeaux, fruits frais, détails raffinés et pour le départ, petit sachet de biscuits et bouteille d'eau offerte pour 3 personnes…

Le spa, bien que de petite taille, est moderne, agréable, et la piscine et jacuzzi intérieur et vraiment originale.

Le jardin, un havre de paix, apporte une atmosphère reposante.

La seule chose que l'on a pas essayé et le terrain de paddle qui était en travaux, dommage car bien localisé.

Le petit-déjeuner mérite une mention spéciale. Au lieu des viennoiseries classiques que l’on retrouve partout, l’hôtel met à l’honneur les pâtisseries et spécialités locales d’Arouca : une belle surprise, aussi gourmande qu’originale.

En résumé : un séjour mémorable. Certes, ce n’est pas donné à tout le monde, mais si vous en avez l’occasion, c’est une expérience qui vaut vraiment la peine.

Ce sejour etait parfait.
La chambre est spacieuse et tres confortable.
La piscine extérieure et le spa parfait
Un accueil du personnel tres gentils et a l'ecoute de nos besoins et un plus pour les petits gestes du soir avec une attention particuliere pour notre avant dernier jour.
Un merci particulier a mathous et ana
Une petite remarque il manque un extérieur pour le resto et une salle detente lecture billard quand le temps n'est pas au rdv

Absolutely stunning, historic property. Exceeds expectation. If you like Four Seasons, this far outshines. Property, accommodations, staff, and location are outstanding. We stayed in beautiful hotels in Portugal--this one is far/away the finest. Location is in the center of the historic, beautiful, charming village, which cannot be missed for meals, strolling, photos, etc. Highly recommend making the trip to the Arouca Geo Park for the Paiva Walkways and the suspension pedestrian bridge--experience of a lifetime!

Could really not fault the staff or any part of the hotel. Very genuinely friendly staff on arrival, breakfast, and any other time needed. Hotel renovation has been done to very high standard, incorporating many parts of the old monastery. (Make sure you take in the monastery museum connected, so you can see the before and after)
The outside pool is just wonderful (with the right weather). It's big enough to have a proper swim, but you're still able to stand in the deep end.
Again, friendly staff at the pool side bar with drinks and food available.
Indoor pool and sauna are great, and again, very high standard to the finish.
Some may say the location is just a bit far from anywhere, but I think this is the point of this hotel. It's about getting away from it all and just relaxing.
Certainly would recommend and would return.
At the moment, as it only opened a few months ago (April 2025), it's still a Hidden Gem.

Bom gosto e conforto!
Pros:

Um dos melhores hotéis que já fiquei! Lindíssimo e o mais cheiroso de todos! Nota-se um cuidado imenso nos detalhes, nos mimos, no atendimento! Conforto impecável! Minha únicas críticas: merecia aquecedor de toalhas no bho e achei o café da manhã um pouco pobre e não achei a comida tão incrível… exceto os doces que eram fantásticos!
