It was such a lovely room and the bed was very comfortable, managed to get a parking space and walk whilst at the hotel

I booked this as a present for my son and his partner they said the place was lovely comfortable and clean check in was very easy and would definitely stay there again

This is a scam!
I booked a room after looking at the pictures, which clearly showed a bathtub. But when I arrived, the room I got was completely different and didn’t have a bathtub. When I complained and sent pictures to their service team showing what I had booked, they said, “We don’t have any record of that in our system. If you want, you can cancel for free.”
I came all the way from London with my family how could I just cancel and start searching for another place at that time? This was extremely disappointing and unprofessional.

Really nice room and extremely comfortable bed. Well located. Very different with no front desk service but everything well communicated. No issue getting parked either.

Nice modern rooms, smaller than expected. Not a fan of the fake moss and plastic foliage in the sun room I feel as though it makes the room look cheap. The bath has a crack and I didn’t feel safe using it. Didn’t feel too safe as the front door to the property was unlocked all night.

It’s on the road to the lake, just outside Ambleside Our room was clean and well appointed. There are no reception staff - but very clear instructions regarding access to the property are sent to you before arrival and further information is provided in the room. We were here for one night and it was ideal for our short stay.

This was a good two night stay in Ambleside. Located just outside the town centre it is an easy walk for meals and indeed not a bad base for a walk. The room was very good - bed was very comfortable. Not too sure about the Mountain View from our room but not an issue. The rest of the building is somewhat eclectic but this didn’t detract from a good stay.

We were kept well informed on the details around our trip and the booking in and parking wrre very straightforward. Location is great, 3 min walk into town. Bed is very uncomfortable for our liking, far too soft, no support. Advertised as having NETFLIX etc, but yiu cant access this. Would us again, but only for a 1 night stop over.

Parking was safe but spaces are very tight

We had a lovely short break at Ambleside Suites and Rooms The Fisherbeck.
Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable with a lovely big bathroom and all we needed during our stay.
The only negative was no reception which we were aware of before we arrived. We had no issues so didn't need to speak to anyone during our stay but still missed the personal touch of a welcome etc.

Beds are so comfy , had the best nights sleep . Close to walk into the town.
The owners of the little bar and restaurant were incredibly helpful and friendly , and the food was excellent .

The apartment was very clean, and just what we needed for our stay Ambleside

We stayed Monday to Friday. Situated a 10 minute walk from Ambleside so dramatically reduced the need to use the car. On site parking which was convenient. Self check-in was simple and smooth. Our room was so spacious, very clean, comfortable and very stylish, loved our separate lounge area! The onsite breakfast in the Casa restaurant was "ok" although fair to say there was lots of selection. Overall a pleasant, comfortable stay.

Room was big, but had alot of furniture, so not much room to move around with luggage taking up floor space.
Umbrella stand would be useful due to the regular wet weather and an indoor mat to wipe wet footwear.

For the price we paid the property was ok little run down and could do with some tlc

Airbnb style hotel. If you arrive late you will struggle to find car parking. Room was very nice but the fake plants spoilt it
