Hilton Garden Inn Tacoma Downtown

Staff was friendly, rooms clean & quiet. Are is walkable, not a lot of restaurants nearby but very close to the UofW campus

Overnight stay for a concert. Bed was comfortable and water was hot for showering. Ecofriendly bottled hand soap, lotion, body wash, shampoo. No toothbrush or toothpaste. Nottled water is free for HH members otherwise its $3/bottle. Lobby has a little convenience store stocked with snacks and bottled drinks. Elevator was slow especially during high traffic times.
Would stay here again.

Would not accept any of my cards. Wouldn't even allow me to run them for payment. Ended up calling and booking a completely different hotel, and paying over the phone with one of the cards Hilton wouldnt accept. This all happened at 1am after flying for 6 hours.

Parking? $20

Breakfast? Hotels.com said it has a complementary breakfast, they do not. Breakfast was a minimum of $10 for a minuscule cup of Greek yogurt with berries, honey, and granola. There were ZERO celiac friendly options outside of the yogurt minus the granola. While a cereal laden complimentary breakfast might seem cheap, at least there’s normally celiac friendly options.

The WATER BOTTLES in the suite cost extra.

I will never say at another Hilton.

Room wasn'tCleaned

Rooms were clean and good location. However, you leave feeling nickel and dimed. Only breakfast option is mediocre food with a $20+ price tag. Per day parking fee, which I’m generally not opposed to but it just felt like nothing was included in your stay. You couldn’t even get decent wifi without paying for “premium” internet. Standard WiFi was awful. I’ve stayed here when it was a holiday inn without issues, but I probably wouldn’t stay here again. Not worth the price.

I like that this hotel is 20 minutes away from the Tacoma Dome. Room was clean. Staff was very friendly.

Great location in downtown Tacoma. Close to UW Tacoma, Tacoma Art Museum and the convention center. The staff were nice and helpful. I would stay again.

Clean room, good facilities. I hated that I had to pay an extra $20 for parking for one night and the breakfast was also extra cost. I’d rather they increase prices and include everything.

Stayed here multiple times and it’s a perfect place to stay. Rooms are spacious, staff are welcoming.

We really enjkyed our stay at the Hilton in Tacoma. I liked how roomy the room was and the bed was super comfy. I wish there was more then 2 K Cups for coffee but notbing to really complain about.

We ever go back to Tacoma we would love to come and stay here again.
