Room was cleaned once i never had towels or change sheets

You get what you pay for. Not quiet AT ALL, music is blasting until 3AM every night. There was construction on site or close by that started at 8AM which would loud rumbling. They told us that if the towels or sheets got dirty that we will be charged full price for them. This place is the definition of Landlord Special, everything is painted over and looks like it needs work. The shower had no door so the bathroom floor would become a huge mess and they would say to just leave it because if you used their towel and it got dirty then you had to pay for it. We stayed for 5 nights and not once did we get room service or get it cleaned up. The garbage was never taken and wouldn’t get the bed done and wouldn’t even get toilet paper checked on. Even with having the “Fix Room” sign hanging on the door. There is no breakfast or meals onsite, no microwave and no parking. Luckily there was AC, Fridge and Tv.

Cleaning should be better

Try to apply something to help to smell humidity in the room.

La propiedad es linda y las habitaciones muy amplias y limpias, además de que estar sobre la 5ta av. es un plus, sin embargo, la atención al hacer el chek in pésima, la chica que me entregó las llaves ni te regresa el saludo. El internet pésimo y la alberca no está utilizable.

Es accesible y tranquila

Lugar con buena ubicación, pero mucho ruido en la noche. Para subir a otros pisos es por escalera, es muy reducida y es difícil manipular equipaje a través de esta.

Me recibieron tarde, si hay personal atendiendo Recepción.
El cuarto (3) amplio, con refri, pero el baño si necesitaba atención de pintura y por su diseño tiraba mucha agua hay que tener cuidado, yo pedí toallas extras y las usé de tapete y ahí nos percatamos de algo y en general todo el piso, estaba lleno de pelos …

Muy buen lugar aunque faltan espejos en las habitaciones y tal vez una silla. En el anuncio mencionaba que había entrada a un beach club y al preguntar en la recepción, nos dijeron que no era así.
La limpieza muy bien y las personas con las que tratamos durante nuestra estancia, fueron amables.

Esta bien aunque hay mucho ruido. El chico nuevo de recepcion, excelente : educado, con excelente actitud, y servicio!

Excelente ubicación

Es comodo y confortable , pero las areas de acceso necesitan mantenimiento

Lugar con lo esencial, cumple con lo establecido, le falta mantenimiento a la instalación, el baño tenía muy fuerte olor a coladera, pero para pasar una sola noche y dormir es funcional y económico

Excelente opción, fácil acceso a todos los atractivos

Excelente estancia. Es la tercera vez que me hospedo ahí.

This was back packing experience for us on our honeymoon. We got the flight and hotel booked through Expedia in Mexico the night before going. In expensive has been the way we have gone throughout our trip.This may have been the Jewel of the Nile years ago but definitely not now. Plusses air conditioning, fridge in room, two minute walk to the beach, and close to all the shopping and food you can handle on 5th. Of the four in expensive hotels we have stayed at this has our lowest rating. The hotel we are at now is cheaper but 1000% better in every aspect you can imaging except for surrounding area. Hotel at now feels like new or freshly renevated. Casa Tortuga 5th feels renevated 30 years ago with minimal updates since then left to just take in money with guests wanting to be in Play del Carmen. Place isnt horrible, just not the opposite,it's right in the middle. If your there as we were to see and experience and travel and do in Playa del Carmen and all you want is a reasonable place inexpensive to rest your head with air conditioning then this will be ok. Its clean and room service in the morning its just old and tired now. Truly great location! If you find inexpensive package while in Mexico with this place and what you want is go snorkeling, scuba diving see pyramid go in cenote and a lot of other stuff anf just need a clean place to rest your head with air conditioning(as you need it here) then this will be fine

La habitación si está limpia, solo faltaron algunas amenidades, en el baño le hace falta tapete para evitar resbalones y caídas. Pero en general estuvo bien.

The hotel itself is very quiet despite being right in front of a bar, the rooms from the third floor don’t have numbers so that it was a little difficult to find our room, we kinda had to guess based on the rooms at the bottom, but overall a good property.
