Brand new. Right downtown. Close to highways and all there is to do.

Good location, easy packing, new hotel, all in all okay and enjoyable stay.

Beautiful city

Lovely accommodations. Food at continental breakfast wasn’t worth the cost.

It is a brand new hotel right in the downtown of Rapid City which is quite walkable with nice collection of restaurants, stores and bars.
The lobby of the hotel was spacious with many comfortable seatings making it a nice gathering place. With an easy self-parking and clean spacious room, I would definitely stay here again.

Great modern hotel in downtown Rapid City, perfect for a two-night stopover on a drive across the country, close to Mount Rushmore, Badlands National Park, Custer National Park.

One of the nicest Hyatt’s I’ve ever stayed in. Everything is brand new and right in downtown Rapid City. Would definitely stay there again.

Hotel was excellent. However the street noise from St. Joseph St. is ridiculous at night.

Hotel was very nice, good amenities, check in was very slow because no one was available. Everything else was great. Would recommend, maybe shot staffed.

A $25/day charge is added to your room rate for "amenities" and a $15/day charge for parking in the parking garage. Or, you can park on the street with a meter, and there's no charge from 11:00 pm to 7:00 a.m.!! There is no food in the fridge nor laying around, so not sure what "amenities" are and no one could answer the question either. The "complimentary" breakfast is $8 each, charged to your room. The eggs are "instant", the waffles are ok if you can get a hot one, the "French toast" was 1" x 1" x 3" bread strips and chewy, the pancakes are 4" but I could not cut them with a knife, so trashed them. If you have transportation, go to Perkins for their $6 breakfast. There is a TV guide on the remote. The tub is a very high step-over if you have leg issues. In the bar, margaritas are $15 and must be at least 4 oz ea, including room for the ice!! Recommend the Firehouse (2 blocks away) for their $10 frozen margaritas that are three times larger. Two elevators are necessary to move from the parking garage to your room floor. Internet is good. Reception, breakfast area and room hallways are very cold. Bring a jacket.

Nice hotel in the heart of downtown. Easy access to many restaurants. Covered garage parking for about $15/night. Our room had a view of the parking garage which wasn’t ideal. I think many of the rooms in the 2nd floor were the same.
