Pros:

Hotel es so nice and cute, very central location. Rooms are very clean, rooftop breakfast is so nice. Personal is so attentive :)

Pros:

This is a boutique like hotel. The property is very clean. I can tell that they take pride with the upkeep of the place and the staff is very kind. The location is great; near a park, a bank, and many dining options…but I think location is the same for most all hotel accommodations in this town because you can pretty much walk to every single thing in the city from any given point.

We arrived to the hotel very early, were allowed to leave our luggage and we went to have breakfast at a nearby restaurant, returned to the hotel and sat in the lobby area (we were exhausted), a lady who I believe to be the owner stopped by and allowed us to check in early. Thank goodness for her. We really appreciated that.

My only real issue was the water in the bathroom; we stayed in RM308. The water was always freezing from the sink (no hot or warm water there) and the shower water was a hassle to regulate, either extremely cold or scolding hot, I had to turn it off and on, off and on to complete my shower, because warm water only lasted about 90 seconds before going to either, too cold or too hot. There is also a condensation issue in the bathroom; everything (from the walls, mirror, toilet, sink, etc.) stayed wet, for several hours. I think a humidifier, or a way to crack open a window (in the bathroom), could help solve that problem. However, if I did ever return to Baños, I would still consider staying at Hotel Agave again.

Really good stay with amazing service
Pros:

I have stayed here twice. It’s a nice, comfortable room close to downtown but far enough from the loudest part of the area. Very safe location, I was able to walk around late at night without worries. The best part was the excellent service from the front desk staff. Extremely accommodating person at the front desk who was very responsive to our needs and gave a personalized experience. I have managed hospitality and travelled extensively and this stay I received some of the best service I’ve ever had.
