Professional property host/manager
The housing does not have a working WiFi, or hot water. The main gate to the residence has a broken lock and the door is open at all times. The building is not staffed, and calling the management wouldn’t help because they will never pick up your call. We realized that this place isn’t safe to stay so we moved out on the first day, but they refused to refund. Avoid this place.
The room was smelly and extremely cold
For your price, you are renting 1 of 5 rooms that have a shared kitchen/living room region. The room was quite clean with fresh sheets and towels. Only the top of the closet was covered in dust which I cleaned so that I could put my skirts there. The common area was not as clean, but not terribly dirty. There was a sponge and Dawn for cleaning the dishes. There was plenty of hot water. Although the front gate was code-locked, the door at the back side of the house was open all the time. There was no lock on the common area, so someone who could open the front gate could walk right into our common area. The rooms are all code-locked. So the security could be better. The most annoying thing was that several of the smoke alarms had spent batteries. So then there was beeping all night. I complained and they disabled 3 of them, but the beeping continued. They disabled spme more akarms.
When I arrived my room was still dirty and used from the last person. It took me 6 hours to communicate with Expedia (who was just unhelpful) and CozyStay (who with tried to fix but took forever to respond each time) to finally have them transfer me to an upgraded studio apartment. It started off well, even with a broken bed board (we told them with no helpful assistance and ended up moving the uncomfortable mattress to the floor. Then on our last night there a guest who was suppose to check in that walked in. The apartment it self was okay. It was just all a hot mess… was there Tuesday to Saturday.
The transportation is very convenient, near USC and the price is reasonable. Will be back here again in the future.
