The Taksim Patong Beach Hotel

Overall a good value. Staff is very friendly and helpful. For future customers info, they do not take credit card for the security deposit so have cash on hand when you arrive. Also the hotel check-in and lobby is hidden at the back of what looks like a small mall/shops. It’s not obvious when you approach the hotel from the sidewalk.

I haven't a bad word to say. In fact ive rebooked the Taksim for my next tripto Patong.
The house keeping was spot on, the staff were very kind, helpful and friendly.
I loved the location, close to bangla road and opposite the beach.
So im summation, i would recommended the Taksim.

Avoid this hotel at all costs. First of all, this hotel is not an enclosed hotel, but an “open air” one. This means that all of the street noise and bass from the bars keep you up until about 4am. The rooms do little to soundproof anything. Secondly, during my 4 day stay, the power went out 3 separate times (sometimes for hours on end). While I wouldn’t normally blame the hotel for power outages, only the hotel complex was out of power while business around it stayed powered. Finally, the shower did not get hot and is only suitable for people 5’5. I am 6 foot and stood well above the shower head. P.S. You can also only pay the hotel deposit in cash.

Wow

The AC did not keep room cool, the refrigerator did not work, the bed was like sleeping on concrete, no hot water. When I asked to cancel after enduring first night, the girl at front desk assured me I would get refunded. I was later told by Hotels.com that the hotel refused to refund my money

The location is good but the area is too much noisy until the morning, The hotel is old and need more maintenance, The AC not much cold and the Wi-Fi is very week.

The room was a good size and was clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They even have a lounge area to pick up a snack, free water and coffee. It is in a very convenient area with many things to do. Not an issue for me, but an observation is if you want a quiet place at night or are a light sleeper it is noisy.

Location is very good!!

This place is the best you’ll find for the price. Accomodations were excellent and will be better as there were active improvements being made during our stay.
There is a lobby available to stay during the wait of your room being prepared prior to check-in, and safe enough to leave your luggage if you prefer to go and explore.

This was the perfect location for me!! I probably walked 30+miles on the beach this trip. I will definitely be staying here in the future!!

The hotel felt more like a hostel. Had to fight to get the room type I booked.. felt more like a hostel then a hotel.
Located at the back of a strip mall..was very hard to find..their debit machine didn't say Canadian credit card..had to find a bank machine to accept Canadian card.
Ac didn't work very well..

The beach hotel's affordability was a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend it.
