Room was very clean and hotel was close to the London Tube. Cleaning staff was very helpful. Self check-in would not accept the Reservation Number or scan my passport, but other options allowed access. Questions were responded to quickly via email.

Great location!! The room was clean, 2 queen beds for a family of 4. The only disappointing thing, one morning the fire alarm went off and no one came to our rescue, the fire department didnt even turn up! We had to call the hotel and get instructions on how to tirn off the alarm!

Recently renovated so it has clean modern rooms. The walls are a bit thin and there was an issue with the check in machine but everything else was good.

Absolutely foul owners, do not stay here. Checked me into a room that was disgustingly and uncleaned from the previous people. The next morning as I’m getting changed two people enter my room! The owners are liars and tried to make out it was my fault this all happened? Do not stay here it will be a waste of your money.

Clean room and decent size for two. Everything seem new and the bathroom was good. Can do with a hand towel and a better hand soap dispenser as it was temperamental. There was some finishing touches required tiles with little grout.
Plenty of sockets and lightening and working air con unit.

Comfortable bed and fresh linden and towels.

Great location to all we needed.

Small but cozy and chic

Important for me to communicate that this hotel is great and has been renovated! Everything is brand new and stay couldn’t have been easier to navigate. Room was comfortable and stylish. Would easily stay here again!

Me and my boyfriend stayed here to celebrate our anniversary. It is a great building while rooms are small it still has everything needed shampoo and body wash, an ironing board and a mini fridge and so on. It is also fairly close to sightseeing attractions and made it super convenient for us to walk everywhere. There is no staff on sight besides the housekeeper which did unfortunately walk into our room an hour after we had checked in. This did make us slightly uncomfortable however, it did not ruin our stay. Thank you upper Berkeley hotel we had a lovely stay.

Noticed a few bugs on the bathroom’s ceiling and it was humid during the night :( but other than that, it was very good! Loved the neighborhood. Appreciated the tea and the kettle :) Might stay again in a bigger one.

We were on the 3rd floor walk up which was annoying but it was such a good price I can’t complain. No bag check but we did check in early. Area has cute shops and restaurant and really convenient to get around

I adked property if they were handicap accessible and was told one step to get into the hotel. That would have been fine but they neglected me to mention the room was in the basement woth a.very long steep staircase and no lift. Do not recomme d this hotel.

The room is tiny; truly only one person and obvious property was newly refurbished. That being said, I had a ton of tiny black flying insects in my room (gnats?). Not an infestation but more annoying. Also the windows were still taped shut from the panting.

Desvantagem:
1. escadas. O quarto que reservei ficava no terceiro andar, seis lances de escada bem estreita e degraus que não cabem o pé, perigoso de escorregar, fica um pouco mais seguro por causa do carpete.
2. A janela estava emperrada e não fechava. Pedi para consertar, prometeram ir mas esqueceram.
3. Não tem recepção com seres humanos e usam cartão de hotel. Ele desmagnetiza e vc tem que ligar e esperar alguém ir até o prédio fazer um novo cartão paga você. Tivemos problema com o cartão de entrar no quarto duas vezes, a primeira pq ele foi liberado para um dia e ficaríamos 7, a segunda pq desmagnetizou.

Vantagens:
1. Recém reformado, tudo limpo e novo (embora achei engraçado que o piso é torto, tem 10° e inclinação da janela para o banheiro.
2. Localização impecável, ao lado de cafés, restaurantes, mercados e transporte.

I booked this hotel because of tube strike and it was close to my work. My room was No4 and it was next to the door between upstairs and basement so there was noise whenever people passed by. It was ok for one night stay.

Rooms are very small, staff was available to help through the Expedia chat or WhatsApp.

Property manager very helpful, clean and organized.
