Casas On Cordova Street

The property is located in an interesting part of town but enclosed in a relatively safe neighborhood. The property manager was super helpful during the check-in process. The unit was clean and a great place to stay for a couple of days.

Room was fine overall, however the check-in process was poor due to the room not being cleaned on time, as well as the couch not being included in the room even though It was already paid for and supposed to be included in the suite. The process took over an hour and wasn't able to make it to a reservation up in Universal Studios at 5pm.

Property was well operated and maintained, Lucky the property manager was extremely helpful and genuine. I would 100% stay at location again. A blessing

Definitely not recommended. So bad it was almost funny. This isn’t a normal hotel. There are no staff that work there after about 4:30pm & on weekends. So if you show up after 4:30pm and can’t get in like I did you are out of luck. Or if you have some problem on the weekend. There is a guy who works there until 4:30pm but after that he doesn’t answer calls or texts so you’re screwed. That said, it looks like he’s doing the best he can. I booked 3 nights there a couple weeks ago. You have to check in online before you get there. They email you instructions on what to do when you get there. Too complicated. There is supposed to be a lockbox with your name & your room key inside. I got there about 6pm and there was no lockbox! Tried calling their phone many times but no answer. Doesn’t answer texts either. Verrrry frustrating!! Then I had to scramble to find another place at reasonable cost. Terrible.

Next day the guy calls me back, says he’s sorry, something went wrong. Obviously! At least they refunded me that first night. 2nd night I was finally able to get into my room. Then you discover the “suites” or apartments are incredible tiny! Much smaller than a normal hotel room. Maybe total size 100 sq feet? “Kitchen” was unusable. TV doesn’t work! In middle of the night there is a puddle of water on the floor. Water is dribbling out of an electrical outlet onto the floor! Wow that’s a safety hazard! Had to ask them to switch me to a diff room for 3rd night. A total nightmare!

Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the location is convenient with easy access to public transport and nearby areas.

However, I wouldn’t stay here again. There was no hot water, and no receptionist to speak to in person — support was only available online, which didn’t feel accessible when dealing with issues.

The room was very small, with no iron as promised, and a boiler mounted right above the bed, which made the space feel even more cramped. No ventilation, so the room felt stuffy throughout my stay.

The floorboards upstairs creaked constantly, and I could hear the person above me snoring all night, which meant I barely got any sleep. Combined with a noticeable presence of homelessness in the area, it felt unsettling at night, especially as a solo traveller.

Overall, the stay lacked comfort and peace. Wouldn’t recommend for anything more than a quick overnight stay — and even then, only if you’re not sensitive to noise or security concerns.

It's a very decent stay for the price, all basic amenities present. It's perfect for short stay

The photos make it seem like the room is spacious it’s actually not the room itself is ok but if your not good around the heat don’t go there it’s flipping hot not worth the cheap price

I got a great deal. The apartments are small, but they’re nice / clean. but just be careful when you’re out in that neighborhood. It is kind of rough.

My worst vacation rental experience ever. Room was uncomfortably hot (no AC in Los Angeles in May; noisy neighbors and dogs barking all night we're very loud with ), management was unresponsive and unhelpful

This place is very convenient and friendly staff. Lucky the manager is awesome. I liked it here so much om now a resident.

It was pretty comfortable to stay! But there are fewer restaurants around the accommodation. Also, for those who stay longer, you should buy some beverage beforehand because you will be given just one bottle of water, and it seemed there were no water servers in the building. Otherwise, there are no other problems, so overall, it was a good stay!

Muy buen lugar, limpio y tranquilo. El único pero es que no hay interacción con un encargado de la estancia si hay alguna cuestión que se requiera. Al final, el chico que estaba en la oficina muy amable, excelente atención de él, fue al único que vi y el día que salí. Me volvería a quedar en el lugar. Para lo que requerí muy bien.

This place just gonna rob you. I booked to stay 5 night at this place but when I got there in the room there was no energy and didn’t have a place to charge my phone I call the manager and didn’t answer than the next day I went to do the check out and I didn’t got a refound not even for the night without air conditioner, lights, no where to charge my phone, no microwave, no nothing. It’s a disaster.
