Meh! I had high hopes, especially when I saw and indoor pool and breakfast and was texted that we could purchase a rollaway bed for an extra $25 for our young child, which I did, however when checking in was told they did not have them. So, I had to make sure that I was not charged for that. The bed was good but the newly renovated floor was extremely dirty. I do not believe that our room was vacuumed before we arrived. Our socks and feet were filthy. The breakfast was horrible. Nothing to drink, had to ask for water. The food was sparce and seeing as we were going into Busch Gardens for the day, we were hoping to eat beforehand. Anyway, there are plenty of other hotels in the area that are just as meh for cheaper. Really expected more form the place and staff.
This was one of the worst hotel experiences I've had. The building itself is gross. It's under renovation, but the bits that have been renovated aren't meeting any kind of standard. When I arrived, no one was at the front desk. I waited ten minutes, rang a bell, nothing. I previously tried calling to put a friend's name on the room since we were splitting it for our daughters' sporting event, and they would be arriving first. No one ever answered the phone, and there was no messaging service. When my friend arrived, she didn't show ID and just stated that I left a message and the front desk gave her access to the room, no question and not even did they take her name or credit card info. When I arrived at 8, no one was working the front. I went up to my room (my friend texted me the hotel room number), and there were no security measures put in place to prevent strangers accessing hallways and rooms. MANY areas were accessible to anyone--you could open our door without a key card as well as the indoor pool (which was gross--the actual paint was peeling off and according to their own displayed record keeping hadn't been serviced in over a month). The elevator as well shouldn't be operable (the certificate of compliance was over a year overdue). So it was no real surprise when I found a random stranger roaming the hallways checking doors in the morning (I reported him). The breakfast was embarrassing--there were communal tubs of peanut butter etc (which given allergies is a law
Had everything I needed for a good nights sleep at an affordable rate compared to other hotels nearby. Thought the location was good, just a little outside of town, but there are sidewalks which allowed me to take a walk into the shopping district and explore a bit.
The rooms were clean. The area around the hotel is great. Lots of dining options. However, we did not have WiFi the entirety of our stay. The TV in our room did not work. We called staff for help and they came and basically told us there was nothing they could do. So, no WiFi and no TV. We couldn’t respond to texts or attempt any type of social media or streaming. It would have been worth it to pay another $100 to just get the basic services that are expected from a hotel stay.
Beds were hard as rocks, internet and tv extremely hard to work. Smelled and ac was unplugged and loud
El desayuno era pobre. Y el internet bo tenia velocidad para poder ver tv. No tiene cable y el aire no enfriaba.
This Baymont was different. Difficult to locate at night. My stay was booked for 4 nights. There was no daily housekeeping and breakfast housekeeping.
For the price and where this property is loc
Na
Good service good stay and room for the price
The staff is amazing always very helpfule i would recommend this hotel to everyone
The hotel decor was bit outdated, however, the room was clean and the young woman who checked us in was friendly and personable. Overall, a decent place to stay; we would stay again.
The address for this property is incorrect on this app. The Wyndham on York St is under complete reconstruction. The actual hotel is on Richmond Road.
The pool wasn’t working. There are no laundry facilities on the premises. The bathroom was so dirty, I ended up staying at another hotel and asked for a refund which they denied.
1st room we woke up from the first night Ants were everywhere! 2nd room the toilet was backed up took 2days for someone to fix. Both indoor and outdoor pools were closed for issues that they clearly don’t disclose on the sight until u get there which is insane especially during a heatwave smh. The nice thing about the hotel were the 2ladies at the front desk tried to be as helpful as they could. This place is undergoing renovations and majority of everything is out of order smh
Overall stay for the night was great, wish the breakfast area was better. No pancake mix limited grab and go muffins just wish it was better for waking up at 7:30 to get it
The property has been recently renovated and it looks great. Sherry and her team have gone above and beyond in providing great services and amenities at reasonable prices.
The property was going under refurbishment and it was not actually by Wyndham. It was a days Inn if it had been advertised as the days inn in, we would not have even ventured in there. Their service was terrible and their key cards did not work, which means every time somebody left the room. They had to have somebody there to help them lock and unlock the door. Unacceptable.
This building was under construction with debris and caution tape everywhere. No one was there, and I could find no personnel.
